I have a L3940 Kubota I purchased a wolverine auger with 18” and 12” bitts. Switch my 3rd function couplers to the flat coupler and it works great. Used the 18” to put in my front gate using telephone poles Doug a flat bottom hole 5’ deep.
I would like to see how it performs on the front of the tractor, looking at one for my Branson

I'm not a huge fan of 4-in-1 buckets, though honestly I have never used one. That auger, to me looks way more useful. I think you did the right thing.

Glad you got something more useful out of that deal...that 4 in 1 bucket was way too expensive, and pretty useless LOL. Just a regular grapple would be better than a 4in1 bucket.

A hydraulic auger like that is a much better solution than a 3 point PTO model that you can't reverse....I don't dig enough fence post holes to justify buying an auger of any sort, and my tractor wouldn't handle the hydraulic one as I don't have enough hydraulic flow, and I don't care to mess with those 3 point ones.
If you keep buying new implements you are going to need a bigger barn.

Glad to see that you were able to return the bucket and now you have a tool that works the way it supposed to. Yeah California, their rules and warnings are ridiculous. Pretty soon you won't be able to go outside because the sun causes cancer. When I see a californian in Colorado, I tell them welcome to America! LOL
