First of all I really appreciate you for showing a different perspective on how to care for one’s hair. It is up to us viewers to take or leave it. My story: There was a time when I could not get an appointment to see a stylist because (1) none were accepting new clients, (2) charged extra for my hair texture, or (3) decided to retire. I needed to remove the co-dependency of working with stylist of a specific training and step outside of the box in order to be responsible for my self care. Videos like yours and virtual sessions (shout out to CiCiLove Curls!), helped me step outside a box I had put myself in. Second, I am a fellow fit chick. To be specific, I am on a stand up paddle board racing team. That means I must wash off that lake water (co-wash, rinse, whatever is needed to take off Lake Michigan goose poop, dead fish, gasoline, and other things best left unmentioned). While I do not wash/co-wash daily (due to time constraints in my life) I do wash 2 - 3 times per week. Finally, while I love the different perspectives and even the healthy disagreements, I am not a fan when the comments shift to straight up cyberbullying. Keep doing you, my fellow fitness lady and curl friend!
Thank you for sharing your story. I appreciate your perspective and experience cowashing and caring for your hair without a stylist. I’m glad my videos have helped. (And yes, s/o to Lou she is so helpful!!) thank you for this, I appreciate it and will keep on doing me 🫱🏾🫲🏿💗.
I'm glad you had a great salon experience. It's always good when it works out that way. It's very sad seeing so many people having bad salon experiences. I'm not a salon girl, but it's just because I really enjoy caring for my own hair and I don't enjoy having my hair done by other people. Also, there is nothing wrong with having a consultation without getting a service if a stylist offers them. I've learned a lot by doing that. Professional products are great I love them as well. I don't use a steamer, but I see nothing wrong with them. Ironically, what she was saying about oils and butter being properly formulated in products is the same as what BGC is saying. The products that I have tried from their list all have oil and/or butter in the formulation. Yes, I agree. It is sad to see people having bad salon experiences. And yes, I know what she was saying was akin to what I am black girl Curls says. I was making the connection that they were in agreement on that basically. I agree it is good to get it info from several professionals especially if they’re saying is similar it’s as if it’s helping solidify the concept. Thanks for sharing your process for implementing a leave-in product.
Gorgeous hair cut! I’m loving your new series of showing different professional opinions & arts of natural hair care. I’ve been adding cream leave-ins back in my hair after a year of not using them and I don’t want to miss them anymore. I truly think it was a missing key I didn’t realise. ☺️
She really knows what she's talking about!!!You must use a leave-in to lock the moisture no matter what style you do. Like she said water hydrates but only for so long. The leave-in conditioner helps keep the water in longer so that's awesome. I'm halfway through the video so I'm going to watch the rest but I'm so glad that she encourages you to use leave-in conditioners 😊😊😊😊
I wish I could have put our literal conversation on here so next time I go to her I’m going to ask if she cannot play music lol but she was dropping so much insight.
It isn't a MUST. There are people that don't use leave in and their hair is hydrated just as long as those that use leave in. It's depends on YOUR hair
I have a steamer and it’s very useful. I like it a lot. it’s not the same as putting a cap. For hydration I use steamer. Certain treatments I use both steamer and drying for hydration and shrink the product into my hair. I do that with my leave ins with a shower cap on I can’t explain it but it always makes product “disappear” and leave my hair soft even if i apply it in the shower.
You are so right- following this video - I did my old school wash day …. With cream and a gel and my hair looks so juicy again - yea I’m done with this journey that ain’t helping me
Hey Brittany! Thanks for taking us with you..I learn so much!! It’s been years since I’ve experienced a professional but my prior stylist was kind enough to order me a steamer! My hair loves a good steam w/ distilled H2O only! Treat yourself! ☺
This advice makes the most sense to me because I tried the no leave in method and I had to go back to leave in. My hair was so dry: And I’m adding in just a tiny bit of oil on the scalp after a blow dry
Get a steamer if you’re able to Brittany…My natural 4C gray hair has definitely benefited from using my steamer at least twice a month. I wear my hair short on the top with shaven sides. Hello, Brittany!! I had my hair Appt w/Tippi Shorter today and it was A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!! I got a length preserving trim along with all the services you also received. She is very knowledgeable and gave me great advice regarding how to coax my curls into more elongated and moisturized definition. The professional quality products are pure decadence and my strands loved all of it!!! Thank you for sharing your salon experience….I finally have a stylist (Thanks to YOU!!) who really understands my goals and can help me achieve them!!

I'm glad Stylist Tippi has confirmed some of my feelings about no oils and no butters. Although something I wonder about is does products marketed as hair oils (like say Wild growth oil or mielle's rosemary hair oil) count as raw oils, or are they considered formulated for hair
Omg, I am loving your hair/cut. I'm glad she stayed with the shape because it fits your face beautifully & adding the volume is like icing on a cake. I love to see you loving your hair. Thank you for sharing your experience & taking us along to the salon. The stylist did an amazing job.
Your hair looked so soft and moisturized after the steam mask was rinsed off and you sat back in the stylist chair! This mask seems like it's really good. I ruled out on getting a steamer in the past but sometimes I think about changing my mind.
It was so soft I was actually shook. I’ve also ruled out getting a steamer in the past, but we’re both thinking about changing our minds lol it was so nice to sit under that steamer and I couldn’t deny the results.
I find the steam from my hot shower does the same thing. Before stepping into the shower, I remove my bonnet and slightly fluff my hair. The steam wakes up my hair and the moisture from the steam seems to bring whatever product I have in it come to life. ❤ the videos❤
Absolutely love this mask and have been using it for almost 3 years now. As for steaming my hair, I've been steaming my hair for at least 8 years. Several years ago, I got highlights....a LOT of blond highlights and purchased my first steamer in preparation for caring for my then color treated hair. Fast forward as I've since completely grown out and cut off all the highlights, I currently steam my hair twice a month with a moisturizing treatment or my Olaplex 4-in-1 which is moisture with some bond treatment benefits. I don't use steam with my protein treatments; for those I sit under my hooded dryer. Steaming definitely takes your DC treatments to the next level, highly recommend it.
Love the hair cut and as usual the informative details with your experience. I totally agree with you, use what you want for your hair. Especially when you like your results. I notice I prefer some leave ins with certain gels. I also prefer air drying. I just like the results better. Most argue it looks better under the dryer. Again depending on what products I use I don’t like the dryer results. But we have to do what makes us happy and what results we like. Thanks for sharing 😊
Yes, in this day and age it feels like there are so many rules, and that simply does not work for us all. It doesn’t leave much room for nuance, but we must do what works for us and it doesn’t always have to be exactly what works for somebody else. Thank you!
I’m thinking about a steamer as well. I enjoy watching your videos because it doesn’t push a narrative and I like to do my Haircare and my channel the same way.
I LOVE the cut!!! I’m FINALLY trying to wear my hair so I can truly enjoy the experience. I’ve tried a few WnGs but I think I’m a twist out sis. We fixin to see when I take these twist out my head Tuesday. I used all Kinky Tresses leave in , butter and oil. But again your coils look very happy
I feel the water itself doesnt leave ur hair dry. Its not sealing it, is wut leaves hair dry. Water is a hydrant. ( unless i heard the conversation wrong. 😊)
No, you didn’t hear the conversation wrong. It’s just that I used that clip of her comment to spark discussion to further explain a few things. We went on to discuss how water is hydrating, but oils and butters or products formulated with oils and butters are more for the moisturizing and sealing in the hydration.
Great video and the cut looks great on you. A lot if info given that I needed to hear and/or confirm some of my current techniques. Keep up the excellent videos 😘😘
Can you give more details on the detangling brush she recommended again?? I have thick, dense, coarse hair like yours. I currently use the Felecia leatherwood as well but want to try something different.
Sorry for the wait! I just added the link to one of the brushes in the description box. It’s the T3 paddle brush. The other brush is from a distributor store and has no name on it.
Nothing better than a curly cut done by a licensed professional!!! Your hair looks amazing!!!! Also yes, definitely get a steamer! It is wonderful for deep conditioning treatments. I've noticed a difference in my hair with continued use. I do not use it every wash day but maybe once every month 😊
Hello, Brittany!! I have been mourning my (perceived) plight of being in an area with NO curly hair stylist. After watching this vlog, I decided to search for the salon where you got your fabulous trim and I “think” I may have found it!!!!!! And it’s in my metro area!!! I did my big chop after 6 months of transitioning from relaxer so I’m coming up on 1 year post big chop the 1st of July. I have to wait until Tuesday to speak to someone at Hair Love KC bec they are closed on Monday’s. But, I am SUPER EXCITED at the prospect that I may FINALLY be able to get my coils and curls trimmed by someone who knows what to do with a head of thick natural hair (4A-3B). Thank you so much for sharing the location of the salon!!!! BTW - I am thrilled that you must live somewhere in this 2-state area. It’s nice to know that I’m not alone!!!! 🥰
Hello 👋🏾 I understand completely and I’m so glad that I could help you potentially find a curly hairstylist 🤗 Tie back in and let us all know how it goes!
@@BrittanyMia Appt with Tippi Shorter is confirmed. I’ve decided to co-wash a couple of days prior to my appt with Tippi. I don’t usually do that but I know my natural curl patterns will be more visible that way. I want a trim…Not a cut. I think she gets me. Looking forward to the Moroccan mask and steamer treatment. 🥰
Your hair is gorgeous! This information gave me something to think about. After I shampoo and condition my hair, it dries up really quickly. Now I’m wondering if I need some sort of base, leave in to prevent the water from causing it to dry out before styling.🧐
Same. After initially rinsing out my conditioner, my hair would feel soft, but when I would wet it before adding in the base product, it felt like it had started to dry out again.
Girl look at you!!! Love it. I looked into the Mizani Aircut too. Was going to go to a place in Seattle that does it, no one by me does 😢 currently got a cut on blown out hair. Love what you are doing, keep glowing and growing ❤
I’m considering getting a cut on blown out hair as well. I’m trying to try everything because there are just so many options! If you ever get the chance, come out to Missouri and get the AirCut done by the creator. I think you’d absolutely love it and it was such a great experience.
The Mizani products smell amazing, the shampoo/conditoner , the steam mask and the coil oil gel smell amazing all from the true textues line. I would like to see you try the mizani coil oil gel, with thetwist gelly and mousse, Or just you using the mizani oil gel with a mousse.
Man..your shape came out so nice!! this really makes me want to get to the salon, it's been quite a few years. I had some bad experiences in the past but maybe if I do some research I can find the right person. I'm in the Cleveland area so I feel like I should be able to find someone if I look hard enough! Great vid 🩵
I got very lucky when an old friend suggested my current regular stylist so I understand completely. More often than not people have bad experiences at the salon, but things are changing! Yes, I do encourage you to do some research and I hope you find one that you feel comfortable and heard at. 🧡
She didn’t use as much as I would’ve so I can’t really compare, but it’s up there with the Mielle in terms of hold and definition. Even with the amount that she used, it had great definition and great hold.
Great convo!! I too was super pleasantly surprised by the steam mask. With a heat cap it was great so I can just imagine if I follow instructions.😊 The hair looked great👌🏾
Soft is a great way to describe it! The super bold and blunt angular cuts aren’t really my style and I’m hoping soon that different types of curly cuts merged to the forefront as time goes on.
I just had a vision of you creating a reputable hair care line while watching this gworl. Phew God is really doing a new thing. Stay the course. And professional hair care gives elite status on a wash day which makes it exciting when you’re dreading the long awaited process. Love it!!!
Not necessarily, but it did have nice hold. It could’ve lasted a little longer, but I sweat a lot in the gym, so I like to cowash in between shampooing right now.
Guys, she is not prescribing a recipe for everyone's hair. In fact, she states several times that one should do what works for one's hair. For me, I can't use a leave-in when I do wash-n-gos because it make my hair less defined. However, when I do twist outs, I love a leave-in. Do what works for you; it's only hair.
Wow. That's a wild statement for her to say water will leave your hair dry. And oils and butter hydrates the hair ? 🤔 i'm glad you cut the voice over on bc those statement on their face 😬 Water *is* hydration. A lot of good products have have a combination of humectants and emollients to attract more water in the hair and to add softeness + shine, respectively. I think it would just be eaiser for a stylist like her to extol the benefit of lotion/cream leave ins like adding weight or "bulk" to the hair. Because a lotion/cream itself isn't going to keep the hair hydrated longer, or hydrate the hair. But most importantly you like the cut! I can see more volume on top now. I'm at a similar length after a biggg cut in November and it's hard to not be flat on the top, esp if you are also trying to grow it out
It was that water alone will leave the hair dry without anything to seal it in. I understand haha I had to clarify because there was a lot being said that wasn’t shared. Yes for sure, water is hydration and there is no denying that fact. I agree. She was stating that we need water but alone water can leave the hair dried out without a good product to keep and attract more water. It is hard for it not to be flat on top. Hopefully as it grows out I find a way to maintain that volume. Thank you for respectful sharing this information!
I love the cut . I like steaming my hair ( I have a qredew ). For me temporary I will cut my hair straight. I 've been having issue since my last curly cut.
I’m on a kick of trying different methods and ways of getting my hair, trimmed and shaped, so I’m also looking into getting my hair trimmed in a blowout state. I watched Rosie Amelia’s video and now I’m curious.
I’m going to add the one I can in the description box, but she used the T3 professional smooth paddle brush, and the black brush was unbranded that they got from a distribution store so no information on that one.
I have a steamer and just realized I don't know where it is. I also have the green steamer thingy (can't remember what it is called). I do not use either, I normally use a plastic cap and my hooded dryer.
Heeey, Love the cut! It looks great on you. Yes yes to professional hair care, but also whatever works. I've only used mizani for my here and there blow outs. Now you got me curious lol. I do have a steamer. My stylist would always use when I went and I like the results. I only use once or twice a month. I feel like it's worth it..put some essential oil in there and just relax🧘🏾♀️. What was the name of that loreal gel/foam. I might have to try. If it's similar to the Verb I told you about, I love it. Until next time peace & blessing💜
Absolutely, whatever works! I’m on the lookout for a steamer now because it was a great experience, and my hair felt different than it does after sitting under a hooded dryer. There is a link in the description box to all the products that she used ❤️.
great video. I think her methods are pretty much the same with BGC. No RAW oils and she styled your hair wet just chose a different styler : cream instead of gel, but she used mousse which they use too. she still says styler to hold water for a period of time, till the next wash, which is again same as BGC would say. my opinion though, your curls in your wash and go series look juicer and nicer than the finished result here.
Exactly. Her methods are literally so similar but it’s her delivery and how she’s saying it that differs from BGC. Yeah, it’s still essentially the same. Thanks for sharing your pov.
I love your hair! I wish I could find someone in my area to care for my natural curls 😢 I have been doing it on my own. The last person I went to did not do a good job. Money wasted.
Thank you for your prompt response. Is this combination one you would recommend? Like you, I am a Wash and Go girl, but my hair is very thin. I’m always looking for products that will provide volume and hold, but I don’t want my hair to feel like a hard hat or helmet.
@@mahletbluford I personally loved it. I purchased these products and I will be doing a wash and go using the same products in a video. I do recommend the leave in spray over the cream if your hair is more fine or thin. But it did not feel hard.
Well this video disappointed me & I don't think I've said that b4 in all my yrs of watching hair videos. I've been natural for 9+ yrs now & I had to cut 20+inches last yr, started my journey over. This 2nd go round I've been blessed w/ finding a curly stylist that follows the black girls curls techniques & guidance, it's a way of life for me now and I don't go 3 days without someone stopping me asking me exactly what I'm doing to have beautiful lasting w&g, it's been humbling & very touching real talk. As soon as you mentioned the celebrities hair she's done I was done lol, those women hide behind wigs & braids 95%, then this woman says "water can be drying for your hair, I just smh in disgust. Yes we all have our own preferences but dang if it's not broken then why fix it. I hope you enjoy exploring your hair for yrs to come with all of the frequent products you're trying, etc. It's not my path at all though, I've lived through the days of hair confusion & being a product junky, no more. I watch hair videos of those that follow the same hair pricipals, products & it's simple. The idea of even relying on mousse as a styler for w&g without a topper mousse is unreal. Going back to cowaah, unreal, just uh uh. Sending love & blessings your way always lady, I'll look up your channel again to see how you're doing later on this yr.
@Kimla O'Connor me too & overall the convo / comment of "we're trying to help you all/ give guidance" irked my soul. The big factor behind why so many of us have had jacked up hair was by listening to our fave yt influencers who are trying to figure things out just like us. It was a mess
@@kimlaoconnor1 She didn't say it in this video, but in a previous video she said the reason she cowashes so often is because she goes to the gym every day and sweats at her roots a lot. And since she's currently doing mousse wash n gos, the sweat takes away the mousse's hold and definition at the roots and her roots get dull & puffy and also her scalp gets uncomfortable from all the sweat. So she cowashes in between wash days in order to remove the daily sweat residue and also to be able to reset her style from wet hair. I doubt she'd be cowashing this much if she were doing gel wash n gos since they have a lot more hold than mousse wash n gos and can withstand a sweaty scalp. She'd probably be using scalp refresher sprays instead.
The comment that you’re addressing about giving guidance was what a stylist told me not what I was telling you that I was doing as an influencer. ( my stylist was saying that THEY are there to guide us as we discover our hair, I’m not here to guide anybody I’m here to do my hair and learn an experiment and I’m sharing that ) You’ve been around my channel and have commented before so it’s interesting that you haven’t picked up that I’m experimenting. It’s actually disappointing. People use mousse as a one and done all the time. And people still cowash successfully. As I said, I was on a cowashing kick and again I’m experimenting and I’m on a journey with my hair. You are clearly already where you need to be and that’s perfectly OK, watch influencers who are doing exactly what you are doing. It’s clear that you missed the entire conversation in the video and the point that I was making about learning and doing what’s working for you which has made this one of the most disappointing comments I’ve ever read so it look like we’re both disappointed. I wish you well.
@Brittany Mia one of the hardest things I've learned to grow/evolve to is not caring so much about being misunderstood (whether it happens intentionally...... or unintentionally). Humans stay humaning. Context matters and humans (all of us) ALWAYS see through our own perspectives. Always. Those who continue to grow understand and accept this and constantly evaluate their own perceptions, beliefs, & misperceptions. The only thing that diminishes the greatness and value of this video, your experience (that you chose to share with us), and the joy you had/have in it all is what you allow to. Next. ❤
Cute results. Funny enough black girl curls has never said, that water is the only thing we should use. The philosophy is that water is the base. Your products should be water soluble. And you should choose the correct cleanser, for the amount of buildup you have. Then choosing the correct conditioner to follow. Then the emollients, conditioning agents, and humectants of your conditioner and base stylers, keep the water in. Then finally, the amount of hold you set your hair with, locks all of that in! The goal is to get you away from the 12 step routines, and get you to the root of hair care, and its simplicity. Unless you truly do your research, and read their manuals... you'll only have snippets of the information!
I’ve done the research, and I’ve read their manuals. I don’t recall at any point in the video where I said that Black Girl Curls said water is all you need. We were talking about hydration and moisture, so this is not in any way a statement to debunk what they are saying. As I’ve said many times in the video, this is showing the differences in opinion, and showing that there are different ways to achieve a style. This is to show that there is nuance in the wash and go lifestyle. I’ve been in See some curls and I’ve learned from them as well. They have valuable information, and so do a lot of different stylists.

We all have different properties to our hair. I watch your videos because like me you do wash and goes only. I also found mousse alone drying.
Omg, I am loving your hair/cut. I'm glad she stayed with the shape because it fits your face beautifully & adding the volume is like icing on a cake. I love to see you loving your hair. Thank you for sharing your experience & taking us along to the salon. The stylist did an amazing job.
💗 thanks so much! I’m happy I can share these videos with you all.
And yes I love that hair is FUN. Sometimes I like the fun new products and styles
🙌🏾🫱🏾🫲🏿
Thanks for sharing this!
Thank you!
I’m so glad to hear someone else say their results are better with air drying.
I’m thinking about a steamer as well. I enjoy watching your videos because it doesn’t push a narrative and I like to do my Haircare and my channel the same way.
So beautiful!!! I love it!!
🥰 thank you!!
Thanks!!! As long as it works for you 👏🏾 I love to see a good twist out.
@@BrittanyMia ohh 👍🏾
I love the bangs!
Thanks!
Great video and the cut looks great on you. A lot if info given that I needed to hear and/or confirm some of my current techniques. Keep up the excellent videos 😘😘
So glad this information is helpful. Will do. 🥰
I love it! Cute shape..So pretty and defined. I agree there are various ways to achieve a wash n go… go with what works for you.😊
Thank you Trish 🤗
17:09 this is my favourite part of your videos. Something very satisfying about seeing curls do this
Same!
When she was done I was like wow that turned out so cute. Good job
I agree! Thank you 💗 what brand of steamer do you own?
@@BrittanyMia let me go check the model and I'll let you know!!!
Pure FactS! Have fun & Do You!! Love It!💞 NO ONE WAY! Know what works for your Hair and Keep Learning! Gorgeous!!!

I love the cut. Is it possible to list the brushes?
Thank you. I didn’t catch the brands, but she said I pick them up from target. I may have to give them a call and ask what brushes they’re using.
@@alisameireis3628 yes! I’m sure you’ll love it. Now I need you to come back after your appointment and let me know how it went!
The coil oil gel is amazing!!! I instantly fell in love. My wash n go's last so long when I use it and a little goes a long way!
@@aleialaw I like it but I need to add another gel for hold, or maybe Im not using enough😅
I’ll look into it, thanks for the suggestion 🤗
The shape looks amazing!!!
Thanks!
It's so shiny and curly!!!

Your cut is cute!
Thank you!
New sub here! Finally found someone who is having fun to learn and grow with their natural hair!❤
Wow. Absolutely loved this video and the knowledge you gave us. Gonna try some of these products
Awesome! Thank you!

Your cut came out so good!! Loved this video, and the info you shared, thank you!!

It *is* fun!!🎉
🙌🏾
How was the hold on the mousse? Better than Mielle? Same as design essentials? Worse than both?
She didn’t use as much as I would’ve so I can’t really compare, but it’s up there with the Mielle in terms of hold and definition. Even with the amount that she used, it had great definition and great hold.
Great convo!! I too was super pleasantly surprised by the steam mask. With a heat cap it was great so I can just imagine if I follow instructions.😊 The hair looked great👌🏾
That steam mask had me shook! Thank you 💜
I absolutely love it. I wish I had good experiences with getting my hair cut.
Thank you! Hopefully, in the future, you find a stylist that you feel comfortable and confident in cutting your hair, if that is what you want.
Fresh and stylish! Lovely.🌸🌹🌺
Thank you! 😊
Love your cut..your hair looks so nice and healthy and "soft"... not all super hard/angular.
Soft is a great way to describe it! The super bold and blunt angular cuts aren’t really my style and I’m hoping soon that different types of curly cuts merged to the forefront as time goes on.
@Brittany Mia yes same! I want soft, not angular. I still have a long way to go but am excited to eventually be able to shape my hair.
Cuute cut! I have a steamer and I love it. I’ve been steaming my hair many years.
Thanks! What steamer do you have?
@@BrittanyMia I am out of town. As soon as I get home, I will let you know.

I just had a vision of you creating a reputable hair care line while watching this gworl. Phew God is really doing a new thing. Stay the course. And professional hair care gives elite status on a wash day which makes it exciting when you’re dreading the long awaited process. Love it!!!
👀 tell God to give me that same vision 🤣 Tfs 🖤.
Looks great! Did this style last longer than your home wash and go's?
Not necessarily, but it did have nice hold. It could’ve lasted a little longer, but I sweat a lot in the gym, so I like to cowash in between shampooing right now.
Amazing products 🎉 and a steamer is so worth it, no joke a must have
What kind of steamer do you have?
Yes purchase a steamer. I rotate weekly between the dryer for treatments
🏃🏾♀️👍🏾
Guys, she is not prescribing a recipe for everyone's hair. In fact, she states several times that one should do what works for one's hair. For me, I can't use a leave-in when I do wash-n-gos because it make my hair less defined. However, when I do twist outs, I love a leave-in. Do what works for you; it's only hair.

loving this conversation and your shape 🥰
Thank ya 💕
Love the cut! It looks nice on you.
Thank you!
Hair came out great! I need a good cut
I appreciate it!
I love the cut. Beautiful
Thank you! 😊
Wow. That's a wild statement for her to say water will leave your hair dry. And oils and butter hydrates the hair ? 🤔 i'm glad you cut the voice over on bc those statement on their face 😬
Water *is* hydration.
Baby that mizani miracle cream is excellent. I love that product
I can’t wait to use it at home. It was so good.
You're going to love it
Steamers are awesome.. full head and que redew... Also look into luseta beauty... Ty 4 ur refreshing content and commentary 🌸🤗🕊️
Thank you so much for sharing the brand of steamers that you recommend! And you’re welcome. Thanks for being here 💜🖤💜.
TFS you mentioned 2 paddle brushes…a firm one and less firm. Is there a particular brand that she uses?
I’m going to add the one I can in the description box, but she used the T3 professional smooth paddle brush, and the black brush was unbranded that they got from a distribution store so no information on that one.
The shape is shaping❤
💕
I have a steamer and just realized I don't know where it is. I also have the green steamer thingy (can't remember what it is called). I do not use either, I normally use a plastic cap and my hooded dryer.
Tfs! And hopefully you find it lol.
Love it glad you love it

You know your hair best.
was there a hold? Do you remember i know this was 6 months ago lol!
Yes there was!

💕
great video.
Oils and butters!
Love it 😍
💖
I love your hair! I wish I could find someone in my area to care for my natural curls 😢 I have been doing it on my own. The last person I went to did not do a good job. Money wasted.
Thanks! Hopefully you can find someone soon. It can be hard finding a good specialist that’s local to you. Wishing you the best of luck. 🤞🏾
Great video ❤
❤️
Did she use the mizani oil when you were done?
Thank you for pointing that out lol she actually did I need to add that to my description box
Did I miss something or did the stylist use two products to define your hair, Mizani’s Miracle Cream and L’Oréal’ Transformer?
You didn’t miss anything! She did use both. The miracle cream first and then the transformer.
@@BrittanyMia Thank you.

The cowash everyday was sending me.
Next. ❤
❤❤❤
❤️🖤❤️
@@BrittanyMia you're definitely right about the nuances and techniques.
Nah, use shower steam or just use a shower cap.
She cuts your hair kind of like my stylist does. I don’t have a steamer, I don’t think that I need it.
don't love it. Like the heavy bangs -bowl cut better. .
