    I love that you wear your hair in a shrunken state. It's such needed realistic representation of length goals. So many people only wear their hair out in a stretched/manipulated state that people wonder why their hair hasn't grown as much as the influencer.

    I’ve really enjoyed watching your hair journey and your hair growth throughout this year and watching as you transitioned between BGC method towards Anthony Dickey Method and watching the health and length of your hair! I’m in a similar transition away from BGC and am considering the AD Method. Thank you for sharing your journey!!!

    I love that the Anthony Dickey method seems to be popping again! I did it for a long time when I first went natural and I feel like it's part of the reason I can even wash n go now. I know people say you can't "train" your curls but I swearrrr I did, my curls clump so easily now. Anyway, glad to see your hair flourishing! 😁

    Always enjoy watching your videos. There is an air of sophistication in the detailed manner in which you describe all of the products you use, and the effect that these products have on your hair.
    I was so inspired to try the Olaplex product line after seeing your videos. Unfortunately, these products irritated my scalp after just one use. My hair looked absolutely amazing, but my scalp was on 🔥🔥🔥. I followed the instructions perfectly, and I can’t emphasize enough just how disappointed I was in having to return the products.
    Would love to see you do a video reviewing the Sienna Naturals line.

      I'm sorry that Olaplex products irritated your scalp. That's extremely dissapointing. I'm glad you didn't try to make them work and returned them. I've had my eye on Sienna naturals. I'll check them out!

    Hi Brittany! Great video and thanks for sharing!
    I have been following the Anthony Dickey method as well! I’ve also have been co washing using the olapex no. 5! I love it! My gel combination is the Ouidad climate control gel and Innersense I create hold! I use apHogee leave in conditioner! At this point I love this combination for my routine!
    Also, I pulled the trigger and bought that Dyson today during the Sephora sale! When you said you were going to get one on your last video made me decide to get one!🫢🤗🥰

    Howdy 🤠 I remember some time back when you had a consultation with Cici love curls studio. Are you implementing some things that she shared with you? Also did she ever do your hair? Im asking because after viewing her page over a few years, she seems really knowledgeable about hair care & her clients hair look healthy & pretty. It would be nice though to see someone who has continuously went to her progress over a period of time. Anywho, great job on taking care of your hair 🙆🏼‍♀️

    Hello Brittany, some hairstylists said that when the hair is dry it's time to wash even if it's several times within the week. Why are you co washing instead of washing again your hair? It is a genuine question because I want to do the same so I am trying to understand your point of view compared to the haistylists ones 🙂 I love your hair cut!

    • @BrittanyMia
      @BrittanyMia  11 месяцев назад +12

      It’s a good question. I decided to cowash this week because I had recently gone to get my hair blown out for the first time in 3 years and wanted to re-introduce my hair to conditioner first. Typically, after I go to the salon, I will shampoo and reset after 5 days or so. This time since I re-introduced direct heat into my hair with the blowout, I wanted to make sure my hair was well conditioned before touching shampoo.
      Also, I used to shampoo multiple times a week, but weeks of doing that lead to slowly dry and less conditioned hair. The only time I will shampoo twice a week is when my hair is feeling weighed down and heavy. Which is rare. Cowashing once a week midweek is my main routine.
      This week was just super hot because it was in August and the humidity was going crazy. I was outside more than I anticipated, and ended up needing to cowash twice since I only shampoo once a week.

    Your hair came out crazy good this time, Ioi still am obsessed with your new cut!
    Denman needs to make a long bristle brush! the d38 is my fav detangling tool, and ive been through 4 (Wide tooth comb, Wooden wide tooth comb, EZ detangler brush, Conair paddle brush), and the denman definitely comes out on top. My only qualm is the bristles not being as long as I wish they were really
    Whenever I go back to wash and gos, you have def convinced me to at least try co-washing with Olaplex no.5 and see how I feel about it. Because i think washing once a week was just too long for my hair doing wash and goes. Do you think it's given you better control of your breakage after using it so long, compared to using other conditioners you used to try in the past or do you just prefer Olaplex for the softness it gives?
    You have also convinced me to get bonnets, the glow by daye bonnets are sitting in my cart as we speak. They just look so luxurious. I've just been binging through your videos for the last week or two and it's grown so much since I started from your first few videos, your length goals will come very soon at this rate imo!

    Def took the scarf and bonnet routine. I use a cotton scarf cause I sweat at night haha but I lay it flat over my wash n go then bonnet right over top. Then take a blow dryer to re fluff from being flat. Lovely results. Just using the bonnet makes the hair move too much and looks weird but the scarf def helps omg

      Lol ikr. I only bought one expensive product that she recommended which was the Quidad oil cleansing shampoo & it’s the best! I love that shampoo!!! I would have never knew about that shampoo if it wasn’t for her! I don’t use shampoo often because my hair doesn’t like shampoo so it last a long time. Your hair looks great! Interesting about curly cuts versus blowouts! I was "worried" that I wasn't getting the "best" cut when my hairdresser trims it after blowing it out (she doesn't do "curly cuts") and that I needed to go somewhere to get a curly cut. I've only been natural 2 years (during the Pandemic) so I style my own hair and just go to her for trims/hair maintenance.

    Your hair looks amazing! I think its your last haircut cause you are winning! Very healthy looking too. I have a new bottle of Ouidad coil infusion gel I barely used cause its a bit drying, but you inspired me try pairing it with some creams I have. Do you recommend the denman d38 for tighter, frizzy hair?

    Your hair is beautiful. I love cowashing as well (sometimes I cowash with a deep conditioner and am going to try the Miche Pumpkin Spice as soon as it arrives). But with the Olaplex 5, I think the silicones in it are blocking the gel I used from defining my curls as much. I was wondering if you have that issue, because your hair is on point. However, you do a lot more manipulation than I do, because my hair is only 1/2 as dense as yours. ❤

    • @BrittanyMia
      @BrittanyMia  11 месяцев назад

      Thank you. I can't say I have had that experience. Typically when I cowash, I'm reapplying the same products on my hair after cowashing. Majority of the time my hair gets better definition. Fo me, a deep conditioner is too "heavy" to cowash with. Becasue they are so concentrated, they can leave the hair feeling product heavy after cowashing. I hope this helps 💜.
