    Finally a stylist having a nuanced conversation around the current debate. Love that!

      Another great stylist who has a nuanced approach such as it depends for blown out cuts and applying certain gels on damp and not soaking wet hair is Lavida Barkley She’s based in Schenectady NY and she has lives on her RUclips page I think you might like as well.

    Hair goals: 29:40 "I don't want my hair controlling my life routine" that's the natural hair gospel. Finally getting there thanks to channels like yours❤😊

    I loved watching the process at the shampoo bowl and how well and thoroughly she worked on your hair! I also loved the consultation process and wish more stylists would do that! Looking forward to pt 2! I didnt even realize doing a wash n go on stretched hair was a thing

    I love scalp exfoliating products so watching her use the scalp scrub with the little quartz comb was so satisfying. I am going to check this Innersense one out because I have one from Kiehl's in which the salt crystals are too big. It also lathers like a shampoo. This scrub seems to be a happy medium in which the salt crystals aren't too small nor too big with no lather.

    Loved listening to the conversation and watching the entire process. If you will not be using so many new products and focus on the things that work best for you (which makes sense), I would love to see little vlogs. Just a little conversation and take us along. I feel like you have helpful tips on life things you haven’t even thought about sharing but people would benefit from hearing. Love the vibe of your channel. 😊

    I’m excited to see the cutting and styling process. Here’s what I’ve recently learned about K18. After the 4 minutes, you can do what you want - rinse, add deep conditioner, whatever. The goodness is already inside the hair strand.

    I am curious about the defrizz shampoo. How did you feel it felt in comparison to the cleaning oil shampoo? Does it really defrizz???

    I have never even considered using a scalp scrub. My scalp is so sensitive, and definitely needs more TLC than my strands. Will definitely look into that innersense scalp scrub.

    • @BrittanyMia

      It wasn’t rough at all, but I’d do a patch test before adding it all over just in case.

    I've only had 2 curly cuts and I already feel ready for a different style cut. They NEVA let the back grow with tight texture curly cuts.

    • @CarlaBethany
      @CarlaBethany Год назад +4

      The reason for this is if you let the back grow longer before the top grows down. You will have a mullet. For me it looked like a long tail. I had to see my progress pictures to see it.

    • @reginaneal8734
      @reginaneal8734 Год назад +1

      @@CarlaBethany my first curly cut she cut 5-6 inches all over sooo I imagine she coulda kept a bit more length. I'll try to be more vocal next go round.

    • @shari_jolie
      @shari_jolie Год назад

      Exactly! And I’m tired of looking like I have a mushroom cut. These cuts have the back shrinking to nothing because it doesn’t have the same weight/length as the rest of the head. I guess I need to go back to straight cuts as well because her hair looks great.

    • @rashiiboo
      @rashiiboo 2 месяца назад

      @@CarlaBethanyomg yes! And the back/nape of my hair is looser so even at the same length I’ll look like I have a mullet due to less shrinkage. I prefer the tapered look when it’s short.

    Can you elaborate more on what you guys meant about hydro fatigue and creams? I didn’t follow that part. Love the channel!
