Super useful. IES is really the way to go but knowing stuff like how set it to actually use the light properties and shape AND color temperature is super neat!
thank you for bringing up that setting radius to Zero in order to mimic real ies ilght. However when we use ies light, it should automatically set the radius to Zero, I hope they will set that default in future releases :) (I dont know if there is already in Blender 4.2)
IES is really the way to go for sure. Could you do a video on how we can automate these settings though? Like being able to build it and then be able to save the lights as an asset? and how you can create a light model and have the light source follow the model so you don't have to move both independently?
Do you mean like making the ies file, i really don't now not with blender for sure, and don't know if you need to learn that, as for the spot model we made couple of them in previous tutorials, and you can easily parent a lamp to the spot model so that you can move them together, and use instance copy so they all become connected in the scene.
You can parent the light source to a model, choose light, next shift choose the model, then CTRL+P, choose Object from the menu. This way, as you move the lamp, you move the light along in the scene. You can only duplicate and instantiate the rig with the hierarchy when the both object are selected. You can create an assets from the light and model separately, combined asset does not seem to work yet.
I dont mind it, some tutorial uses real voice but always stutter and pause so its unbearable for me. Alteast the translator say things straight forward

@@sandnerdaniel is there a way to parent only the rotation and not the position so when i move my object my light just rotate toward it ?
Thank you.
Addon for IES lights would be great.
Just love the way he wrote "sucks" a few times but meaningful
This is hilarious. Thank you. Also helpful.
Great one AT! Thank you!
Thanks mate!

@@architecturetopics of course, best content

Appreciate it mate💙
What's the Blender file? The kitchen?
Not a file, a tutorial. You can watch it here ruclips.net/video/0Q-Yj_Gfckg/видео.html
Oh I never knew about putting the radius at 0
how-to-have-nodes-in-Light-point?
Make sure you're on Cycles, then in the light settings hit Use Node.
Keep in mind, that the IES Light kills your Memory. Lol.
Problem is a missing soft shadow. This is common problem that some render managed, but Blender not

@@architecturetopics thanks 👍
Please scrap the computer voice. It's totally unbelievable and painful to listen to.
It was for sure cool. Goodbye.
Thanks for the video. However, the AI voice is distracting, difficult to hear and annoying. Use your own voice. It will boost your channel.
Please just use your voice or pay someone to voice it. That google translate robot voice is unbearable
