Not only her voice and songs are good but also the lyrics are really good. When I listen to her songs, I feel like I'm in love.
Whenever I study, I prefer to listen to BOL4's songs while solving problems. Then, I came across a video of BOL4 singing and reacting to the song. Thank you for listening to the songs of other Korean artists beyond Bolbbalgangi's songs. And seeing other Korean singers' songs and reacting to them made me proud. I would appreciate it if you continue to love our Korean songs.

When I saw this pop up last week, I figured you guys would check it out.
The third song is called "To My Youth". It is about growing up in during your teens, the pains that go with it, and giving hope to those going through it.
I'm a huge fan of her style, I like that airy throw away trail off cadence. So did they used to be a duo or something and now only the vocalist?
@@BestFriendsReact Yeah, that is correct. Bol4 was a duo with Ahn Ji-young as the main vocalist, while Woo Ji-yoon played the guitar and added backing vocals. Ji-yoon left and it is just Ji-young performing under the name.
I wonder what made them split... I guess it could just ppl grow apart over time

BOL4 used to be a duo who were also BEST FRIENDS since high school. But Jiyoung was always the lead singer and composed most of the songs. In 2020 her partner, Jiyoon, decided she needed to leave in order to make her own music. Sadly, it appears the two are no longer good friends.
Ahh that's a shame... Happens tho, you don't always stay close with ppl

@WildBill I didn't mean to imply that they hate each other but that they aren't as close as they were once. Their last public interaction was arguing on instagram over Jiyoung unfollowing Jiyoon over her song "Dodo" and Jiyoon complaining that Jiyoung made her quit BOL4 sooner than she intended.
Jiyoon is the brain of the team...jiyoung is the performancer...
But sometimes we know the time when it is broken up...
Other than twice Bol4 music always puts me In such a mellow state of mind !! I love it 🥰

In korea shes known as a chart wrecker (not direct translation). More like chart genre wrecker. Basically everytime she releases a song it shoots up the chart even though it's not kpop and that her company is super small
she is so unique that no matter what when you hear her you know who it is, even if you have never heard the song before

Her sound and Voice getting mature these day..and poor Jin Young was disappeared for almost 1 year plus..cos the duet with her best friend separated due to unrightful mistreatment by the company (her partner lack of visual and played guitar most of the time) such a sad thing this company discrimination over her partner..
Jin Young use to be very bright and energy and shine...
She still seems bright, but I can understand that some of that get lost over time, especially when there are situations like that
