*WINNER* are called a trust and listen group because every music they come out with is unique, relatable and mostly fun/relaxing. The songs they did here is less than a quarter of how many amazing songs they have (esp. the B-Sides on every album). Their genre is so diverse but also has their own color to the point of being named *WINNER Pop* . If you are to look through the comments under the video you just reacted to, a lot of people, who are not fans know all their songs because it's stands out from a lot of other Kpop groups and is very easy to listen to.
Their popularity is seen in South Korea by how the general public reacts to their music on every come back. They just had a guerilla concert at Han River (Where they performed in public by, mostly, word of mouth and there were over 20k people there). There were Some fans but mostly just the general public (families out for a stroll or picnic etc...) and everyone was singing and enjoying the music. It was beautiful. 😍

@@BestFriendsReact I, We, appreciate it. Whenever I feel down, I mostly listen to their music and also go through comments sunder their MVs. There is a Solo song called IYAH but Kang Seungyoon (the main vocalist and Leander of the group) and the comment section of that MV is literally a therapy session for everyone. People sharing their hardships and relating to the song. Winner's music goes beyond regular music, when they debuted, they're Moto was "We make music not to compete but to heal" and they've been doing it since 2014. Again I appreciate you guys checking them out. Their B-side for this album *HOLIDAY* is just wonderful, they mostly have no skip albums but this one, personally, is their best yet!
WINNER has best discography in Kpop coz unlike other groups they don't stick to one genre or concept, they love exploring different genres and they make their own songs too, yes 3/4 members have written, composed and produced 99% of their discography, also the Korean netizens have given a different unique name to WINNER's music, they call it "WINNER POP" because WINNER really has a unique tone and colour of their music which is very unique to them, their songs are truly the best, I encourage you two to check out out their albums coz all of their songs are soo good, anyways thank for the reaction 💙
Well, Winner don't have bad songs actually. I can play ALL their albums within the day and just proceed with the things i have to do (cleaning, studying, cooking, etc). They are also known as the trust and listen group and summer kings in Korea. Almost all shows now make a caption that Winner is in season because it is summer now in Korea. But they can actually release summer bops even in winter. As you can see, they dont sound as typical Kpop group. Their music is very diverse but still has that distinct Winner sound that cannot be duplicated by other groups. Their voice color and personalities are different individually but together creates masterpiece and fit each other like a puzzle. Yes they seem to have fun because they really love music genuinely and treat each others like real brothers. You can check their bside, "Family". It is a song they made about themselves.
I can feel how close they are, and I agree they feel different than most groups. This so far has been one of my favorite performances from a guy group, normally I gravitate towards girl groups, but these guys are an undeniable talent

Kang Seung Yoon, the main vocal, maknae, leader and main composer and producer of Winner also released an album last year. You can try to check it out. He is one of the best vocalist in Kpop winning 6 times in King of Mask Singer. Also, most of us IC's prefer to watch their live performances than the MV.

Thanks for reacting. This group is widely popular in the general audience in Korea. They recently held a guerilla concert attended by 20000 people. They are a self produced group under yg.

The one in yellow with the unique voice is HOONY/Lee Seunghoon, WINNER's lead rapper, main dancer (praised as one of Korea's top freestyle dancers, and has a beautiful lyrical style), also a great songwriter and choreographer, truly a multitalented artist! All WINNER members are very talented, a super group of many talents and great personalities.

WINNER has great fun songs but their slower rnb songs and ballads are also very high quality, usually my favorites from them!
WINNER are the summer kings, so yeah, fun summer songs. They are very versatile. The main vocalist is into rock, thus, he's vocally powerful.
Winner is truly an epitome of versatility. Fyi only, they composed all of their songs! So glad you checked them out anyway, love your reaction guys!

Ahhh thank you for this. Movie Star is sort of an anthem for our fandom. It is very meaningful if you are interested in lyrics. Personally I like how they sound a bit more mature than some kpop. Very bright but not kiddy. Love love love.

i agree, i like the mature vibe, and while doing upbeat songs thats can be hard to do sometimes, but they pull it off

Hoony - lead rapper, main dancer, Winner producer, always have creative ideas, currently a tiktok star beside idol lol
Jinu - lead vocal, looks kinda quiet and reserved but actually he's the real boss, the oldest, love watch drama and dream to be an actor
Yoon - Main vocal, Winner leader also the youngest, Winner main producer, got famous in SK bcs of his cover of Instinctively, one of best vocalist in kpop, king of Masked Singer 6 times, an excellent actor (Prison Playbook, Racket Boys, Tomorrow etc)
Mino - main rapper, Winner main producer, have diversity of rap (please react to his other album Fiance, TAKE, To Infinity), an artist, his painting has exhibit in Satchi Gallery and other arts gallery, a variety show star, own a cafe and so on.

That’s what drew me to Winner, exactly what you guys said, how you can actually easily differentiate each member and each member adds a unique tone to the group that works so well. And they have such personalities too! With other groups it takes awhile to know who is who.
You guys should check out their waterbomb performances. All winner songs are so fun, lively, and touching but them performing live just brings it to 200%

They pretty much treated this as a concert lol. Winner are always fun and energetic, and that's why they always bring in the crowd at festivals. You guys are right that they do bring in versatility even if it's just 4 of them.

It is very cozy group, have lots of nice b side songs.
If you want to know them better i recommend to watch travel TV show Youth of flowers, where Winner was traveled in Australia. There are 4 episodes. In that TV show they kidnapping artist and send to some travel. They are going as they are in that minute, no luggage... since Winner knew about it, so they always try to be prepared. Filming crew put lots of efford how to fool them and that was so hilarious. They were send to Australia dressed as prisoners, they get just their cellphones, passports, guide book and some money. They had set day budget and to travel by themself, they could do what ever they want.
For this TV show we can thank to Mino, cause he in other TV show won crazy expensive prizes (staff wanted just to joke), so director asked what other gift you want, that we could to fulfill, so Mino asked to participate to Youth of flowers and director agreed. Both those TV shows is same director. Since idols world is very crazy and usually they don't have vacations, so that TV show was a chance to have nice vacations. It was really sweet and cozy travel and you can see that they are real bros, not just working together.

I'm sad they didn't sing any old songs before 2017. I was hoping for "Baby baby"😔 waiting for more reactions to Winner and their solo stuff! Also, can you react to Highlight killing voice? They're 2nd gen group and full of vocals!
They actually did sing 4 songs that were pre-2017 era. From their debut album S/S 2014 they sang their debut single EMPTY and b-sides Don't Flirt and Diferrent. They then sang LA LA which used to be sung in concerts during the EXIT: E era prior to being released on the 2018 EVERYDAY album. They gave us a little of each album, mini-album and digital single (Millions) except for the EXIT: E album which they pretty much stopped performing except for IMMATURE and I think that one probably won't be sung in concerts again as their discography grows. And yes I agree it would've been amazing to hear BABY BABY but unlike the other pre-2017 songs, in my opinion, it can't be sung without Taehyun whose presense was very prominent in that song.
