I wanna share when I was listening to “If” and playing it loud on speakers at home when my mom suddenly said “she sounded so sad” with actual concern in her voice. She felt it too 😅
Her talent is amazing, and she is very successful, from being in the most popular group of 2nd gen to now having a full solo career and smashing that, she's had the best of both worlds.
That first OST song is from the drama Hotel del Luna starring IU. I literally can't listen to this song without crying. Taeyeon's vocals are the absolute best.

People said that her voice is so sad that they think that Taeyeon sounds like a girl who got divorced 10 times because she really carry that melancholic emotion. She actually was suppose to have a duet with Wiz Khalifa to sing See You Again OST for Fast and Furious. It really hit different when she sang that but due to reasons the duet wasnt push through.

Her lows is sooo GOOD, I know her belt is AMAZING but it kinda overshadowed her other register. Her lows, her delicate falsettos, her headvoice, her agility. She's just developed all rounder vocalist. Not to mentioned she's super expressive and sings with thousands of emotions, not just belt highnote here and there, but also tell a story, she also sings with her whole body which we LOVE
Honestly with Taeyon, for me is the way she sings each word and when she stop the phrase, there is something about listening to her song and feel the lyrics at the same time. Also she is really good at break up song. He convey the sadness and regret and also move on feeling greatly.

I personally love 'Rain' so much... you should check her adventure in 'Begin Again 3, Amsterdam', she sang Rain on the street of Amsterdam and it was magical (ruclips.net/video/fQjPvb3cYMA/видео.html). She's busking in Berlin and Amsterdam just like that and it's fascinating to see that surprised expression of people listening to her on the street.
I know the killing voice was for Taeyeon but I did wish she lowkey did a Girls' Generation or too, to make it more nostalgic but oh well, the first song she sang I was her official solo debut and it still is like one of my favorite songs from her. She truly is one of the best vocalists of her era and still to this day is!!

I would like to recommend Brown Eyed Girls dingo performance, it's not technically a killing voice, but it is the same principle more or less. They did a "stage" performance medley of some of their hits like this, however it is only 5 mins long, it also isn't a one shot, they do have edits in there. It was from 2019 which I believe was before the Dingo channel started doing these Killing Voice videos. Which sucks because I would've loved a video like this with Taeyeon but for BEG. To make up for it they also did a mini "Zipterview" with the channel also 5 mins where they just ran through some questions over their career and other stuff, but their performance medley was very nice and I think much like you said in your video help get to know the group/Gain a bit more and a be a good introduction!

Before looking into their newly released MV Save Our Lives (worthy to react to both MV & live versions), I think a good intro of them is to react a few of their covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, Je Suis Malade, Hijo de la Luna just to name a few.
