I just love HOLO and For You really much the both songs have this emotional. I remember clearly when HOLO was released because I couldn't hear it without crying and to this day I sometimes find myself crying when I hear the song.

Lee Hi's voice is a perfect cross between smoke and chocolate.

Breathe is still (and prolly always will be) my fave song of her. Sadly she didn’t sing it here but understandably so. I love how she conveys emotions through her voice so Holo is probably my next fave. But I do love her fun songs as well. Her B-sides that I love from her is 1,2 (ft Hyunsuk of Treasure; from the album 24 degrees) and Passing By (from the Seoulite album) 💓

you can't mistake her for any other artist... her voice has its own imprint... her songs are so unique she can take you with her to the song's mood and vibe from Sad and depressing to happy Lighthearted places
I'm genuinely glad you reacted to Lee Hi, I remember being 17 years old and getting so shocked after finding out that this girl with my age had this AMAZING talent on the other side of the world and listen on her songs that at the time there were only five/six. It makes me so happy to see how she grew up, overcame so many challenges and became this wonderful woman.
As you react to Lee Hi I decide to give recommendations with the theme "K-pop Star". So K-pop Star is the show that Lee Hi begin her career, she was second place of the first season and this show just give to Korea so much INCREDIBLE artists, actually I found out this show because of her.
Jamie - It's only fair that since she is the winner of the first season of K-pop Star, the same season that Lee Hi got second place. JUST SAYING. The both was 15 years at the time and talent as hell I don't know how the judges decided. She as a former member of the vocal duo 15&, she left JYP Entertainment 2019 that's why this video not have her old songs. She is a AMAZING singer I just love her voice.

AKMU (Akdong Musician) - Two REALLY talent sibling - Lee Chanhyuk and Lee Suhyun - they are know for winning the second season of K-pop Star. Unfortunately they still don't have a video killing voice on the dingo BUT

Leehi is so smol so cute like a baby, but her voice is very husky and low, bringing an intersting contrast!
The songs she sang here is just the tip of the iceberg. If you get deeper into her songs, you'll be able to see the color of Lee Hi which is so different yet very comfortable and somewhat calming or healing. Her albums are so beautiful. But of course, you could listen to those on your own free time.
P.S: I highly recommend her new album, 4 ONLY (10 songs with feature singers for 3 of those), 24°C (5-song album), and her songs with Code Kunst, X, O, and XI (these three are individual titles and it's so damn good.)
tbh her recorded voice doesnt do her justice. her voice in person sounds so gooooooooooooddddd. and SHES SO PRETTTYY
Lee Hi is proof that great things come in tiny packages.
" Only" was my fave among these, but I absolutely love her song " breathe" which was not included. That song is my go-to whenever I feel a little down, and it keeps me going.
Her friend who made the song recently committed suicide. She had a hard time with it and cried when she sang it at the awards ceremony. I guess that's why she didn't include that song.

For 2 years Lee hi has been a regular on a live performance mini-concert TV series named 'Begin again'. One takeaway is she genuinely enjoys singing. Also, she 'plays well with others'. She's been the featured 'girl singer' on many hit songs by many different artists in many different genres.

Lee Hi is already a legend! I'm so happy she gets musical freedom to do what she wants at AOMG! She has looked so smiley and happy this comeback!

I love leehi. She really stood out to me with her voice,she has such a husky,low and calm voice. Her music is just soothing and moods. Its beautiful. I do think she is very comfortable and aware of what suits her. Leehi is also pretty introverted or laidback ,she has shown to be pretty awkward and very quiet before and while she is very sweet, she has shown her competitiveness and is straight foward when working or focused. Everything about her really compliments her lol. Her voice and music suit her personality and preferences which is super nice. I'm so glad u reacted to her. She is pretty respected but since she doesnt do kpop,she isnt an artist many react to despite being well loved. I loved the video and that you explained the small details in her voice and recognized patterns and styles she goes for. Thank u❤

My fav Hayi video is the medley she did for Christmas last year dressed as a Christmas tree. It was just so darn cute omg! I just smile thinking about it. Also all the performances she did for Begin Again were marvelous.
She is an amazing singer with a amazing voice. Lee Hi has appeared in You Hee-yeol's Sketchbook recently on September 10th and Hee-yeol said her voice is like a whiskey!🎤🔥👍
I've loved her since Kpop star and stan her until now. The fact that she uses different tone when singing live to make the song a little bit different from the CD version and make each performance more unique. If you notice you find that she doesn't like to sing on the background recorded singing, she always skip it if possible.
I'm really into her song H.S.K.T recently (it shorts for Head Shoulder Knee Toe). Saviour which wasn't in this Killing voice is amazing too. What I pity most is her first album was so so great and underrated yet I didn't listen to her sing much songs in it live

I realize that katrina is a vocal coach but knowing where Lee Hi came from and the record label that she was with at the time really helps to know why her vocals are the wauy they are and why they match with her style so much. Lee Hi's backstory aka her auditions etc and her training with YG really helped her develop her vocie

You should react to Hoody dingo freestyle, killing voice. Her voice is amazing! She is an r&b singer with a soft delicate voice but trust, her technique is impeccabile. She has a very airy voice, she does this beautiful runs and riffs, and her voice its so incredibly clear, with a little bit of nasal quality too gorgeous.
Lee Hi has come so so far as an artist and performer. She’s always had this very soulful voice, her biggest influences being Duffy and Amy Winehouse but a big part of being a performer and artist is being able to convey the emotions within your songs to your audience. That can come from your tone as well as your expressions. In Korea, when trainees work within their companies towards debut, one of the lessons they are given is how to use your face to express the feeling of the song as well as to just look aesthetically pleasing to the audience. For Lee Hi, when she debuted, she struggled HEAVILY with expressions and tone, as well as dance. And not just that but Koreans also disliked her type of sound. Back when she debuted Soul/R&B/Jazz wasn’t popular in the market. So she had a pretty rocky start. Had she been under any other company (she was with YG at the time) she wouldn’t have made it as far as she has. I’m so proud of her because she worked on all of her weak points and while she’s still not as expressive as let’s say, Lisa of BP or Hwasa and MMM, she can absolutely convey the feeling of her music in every way now.

Lee Hi’s amazing 💗 definitely one of the best K-Pop singers in my opinion. Her voice is so strong and I also loveee her sass. You should definitely react to AKMU too. One of the songs in this Killing Voice (I’m Different) was sung with Suhyun from AKMU :)
