RAF Lancaster NX611 "Just Jane" Taxi Run at East Kirby Airfield - The View from the Cockpit. 10.8.13

The Lancaster bomber at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre is kept in full ground running condition. It is a fine site to see this historic aircraft started up and taxied across the wartime airfield. To be onboard the aircraft during the taxo run is a rare privilege.

It must be sooooo frustrating for the taxi crew not to be permitted to take off.

Were both individuals up front, pilots ? For something so rare, how does one become approved to have "Lancaster" [multi-engine, land, exceeding 12,000 lb (???)] added to one's license ? Marvelous video.
