I always assumed they were called Kids in the Hall because they were referencing getting sent out in to the hall in School. I was always sent in to the hall as a kid, so it always resonated with me, this name. Oh well :P

Chicken Lady could’ve featured as The Stummies Boss’ wife within the lab as the first test subject of Stummies within a flashback in the new Stummies “are there any side effects?” And the Boss remembers his youth and beautiful wife becoming Chicken Lady after unforeseen side effects and having to hypnotise her and keep her within the lab to accept her original and known origin story. Foreshadowing what would happen later not only to the Boss, but also Glemenex. I think it may’ve taken some of the realistic edge off but could’ve worked karmically. 🤷🏻‍♂️ and the out of the closet character could’ve met Buddie. But I really wouldn’t change the film. That said I would also buy The Directors Cut. So.... 🎞📀💰

I appreciate the jokes more upon each viewing, but the story and themes seem to really hold up well. Some dated stuff but definitely not a movie of its time.

The last KITH DVD release was just crap -- very bad compression.
They've also never done a proper series release with everything unedited and the original full-length pilot bundled with the TV series. It's had a cursed release history on home video.

I loved kith always went to moms house to see new episodes she had cable. I would record it on tape and bring it to college so everybody could see it that week. Was a huge fan but the movie sucked ass, I saw twice in the movie theater. The first time I thought that the comedy must be over my head and I didn’t get it the second time I watched it I came to the conclusion that they made a movie that was not funny and anti-comedy. I’ve watched it a few more times over the years and I think simply that the laugh track is what made the show so funny. They did this with mask a couple times where they had no lap track and it wasn’t funny. The jokes didn’t go over well. They are cut the movie with a laugh track and see how it does. So I hated the movie, so what I watched every episode multiple times here on RUclips.
