When he’s talking about exciting ideas all I can think of is “office? Submarine!”
I’m more of a dark comedy writer, but I love the Kids in The Hall. This inspires me to adopt a bizarre Kafka-esque humour where the events of my story are grim with tidbits of funny jokes to lubricate the transition of story pace.
The Kids can be quite fucking dark.

Not only brilliant,.. but also interesting,.... and funny.

Great interview! I love Kevin McDonald, but the cherry on top of the “If Elvis were my landlord” sketch was the “Peanuts” dancing at the start.
