      I could not relate more. Having bad skin makes me feel so horrible to the point where I don’t want to do anything except stay home. The one thing that has helped my skin and has made it consistently “good” / mostly clear is having a cleaner diet. By no means do i not eat junk food but I try to eat more veggies and cut down on the snacks. I also found that not wearing makeup helped a lot( i used to wear it every day) hope this helps:)

    Guys just so you know, you only have to use ONE oil to moisturize your face. That is the ONE STEP lol. You don't have to buy all of the oils that I'm showing you; I just wanted to give you guys some options. :) Choose an oil that you think you would like best! Look into each oil's ingredients and definitely look into the cost. Also, I'm getting a lot of questions about olive oil, canola oil, tea tree oil, etc. Personally, I haven't used these oils myself, but definitely research them a bit more if you're curious.

      +Vicky Yellowstone I use it to "dry" my pimples... I take a Q-tip and dip it into my little tea tree oil bottle and then I lightly deep it into water because as you said, it is really strong... That is how I used it and by no means it's the only way to use it (or the correct way haha). I mean, it works for me so that's how I do it. Maybe try that way :)

    I love oils too. My skin breaks out from any cream moisturizer for the same reason she explained above, the cream because of its wax can clog your pores even it's stated "non comedogenic" on the bottle of the product. I agree with her, based on my own experience plant derived oils really help with acne, especially hormonal. Look up the ingredients for better results. I like the brand Caudalie, Aesop. Those are expensive but truly work. Good luck wish everyone find a solution for their problem!

    Actually, I use coconut oil on my face as a moisturizer, and it's literally the best moisturizer I've ever used. Before that, I used to use organic extra virgin olive oil and other plant oils, but none of them went as smoothly and absorbed as good as coconut oil.
    So I guess everyone's skin is different and requires something different.

    I’ve had this same experience, I’ve spent at least a whole year from last year to plan my skin, and I start learning what parts of skin needed to be fixed, I did this every night and this work so well eventually over time and had learn over time that the more I have broken out I would always have the temptation to pop the pimples but I started not to pay too much attention to them and I can agree certain oils work really well just as long as they don’t cause your skin to become irritated or reddish.I don’t use the old ways of cleaning my face and now I’m better now with or without makeup

      Yes, but try more oils, tea tree is mainly for cleaning because its antiseptic, vitamin e does help but try rose or lavender that are known for helping scars :)

      Why are you worrying? Everyone gets a scab, scar, spot ect.sometime on their face. Also you should continue doing what you're doing and use natural oils because the scab won't go away right away. Also don't touch or irritate the skin around the scab because the scab protects the skin; if you pick it you will have a scar and make it harder to heal and worse.

    I personally use coconut oil for my acne and it worked really good.. last year I had started to break out so I would buy tons of acne wash, face scrubs, regimes. And it never worked and then this summer I had ran out of makeup wipes so I used coconut oil to clean my face and I noticed that it didn't dry my skin out and it also helped with my acne and blemishes so I kept using it and u could say my face is pretty clear

    • @blakearambula
      @blakearambula 8 лет назад +12

      Oils are good to use bc they can balance out your skin which is essential for oily skin. If you're not hydrating your face enough it can become dry and then your skin can produce more oil to make up for the lack of moisture which can then cause acne (oil causes bacteria). I have oily skin but I still use oils every night! I use an oil called bio oil which helps with my acne scars and soothes my face and inflamed acne. All you gotta do is wash your face in the morning with a cleanser and all the oils will be gone and you can start your day with clean skin. I never apply oils in the morning, only at night.

    • @brigitteb4016
      @brigitteb4016 8 лет назад +8

      The reason skin gets oily is because it craves oil and therefore produces it. If you give oily skin oils, the greasiness of your skin will go down as it is basically getting what it needs

      Do NOT use tea tree oil if your skin type is oily!! Why put more oil on your face? I had a whole entire line of body shop tea tree oils, YES it kept my acne under control but there was no real difference. I also suggest to not use the body shop products because some of the ingredients in their products aren't good for your skin. Use at your own risk

    I don't have acne but my skin does tend to break out here and there because of my oily skin. I can't use oils during the day but I do use a sunflower oil because it's an oil that doesn't clog pores. I can go weeks without a single breakout. Yes! Definitely have to do your research on what oils would work best for your skin type.
