Alexandria- my daughter and I got a cheap $10 beauty advent calendar at dollar general and we were prepared to roast it. It was better than Sephora. Maybe next year you could try more store advent calendars (in addition to target)?

I feel like a lot of these subscription boxes and advent calendars rely soo heavily on how over priced skin care is in order to push up their “value” instead of providing actually good, valuable products. Love your videos❤
11:46 IMPORTANT: Excedrin migraine and Tylenol both contain acetaminophen. Taking two Tylenol with one excedrin definitely goes above the recommended dosage for acetaminophen which can be quite dangerous both for your immediate and long term health. Excedrin migraine has a recommended dosage of 2 tablets so I suggest just trying two of those without anything else. A cup of coffee or something else with caffeine could help boost the Excedrin’s effects
Not that liver health isn't important, but the recommended daily dose of acetaminophen is stated not to exceed 3 grams a day. Which is 3000 milligrams. She safely did not exceed that amount. Two Tylenol is 650 and 1 excedrin is only 250 mg. So I feel we just need to make sure we are putting the correct information out there. Tylenol is not a bad product while using it appropriately, and safely.

The absolute max dosage any adult should take at once is 1000mg. If she is taking regular strength Tylenol and an excedrin migraine, that is 950mg. If she is taking extra strength Tylenol and an excedrin migraine, that is 1250mg. Even if she is taking the former, such a high dose can still cause damage over time. Also, taking two excedrin instead means she’s getting more aspirin and caffeine which tend to work a little better than mostly Tylenol on migraines in particular. I say this as someone who has had severe chronic migraines since I was a teenager and has had three neurologists in that time. Regardless of all of this, I am not spreading misinformation by explaining the dosing instructions given by the FDA, health agencies in other countries, and doctors.

Sephora in France 🇫🇷 is really good. My Mum and I go in every year when we go to France as a family shopping before Christmas. My Dad goes and has a nice French beer while he waits for us! 😊 That perfume being empty was really weird… and it was a shame the stone was broken… 😞 Overall I think these were both pretty good.

Hey pro tip from a nail polish loving girl who just learned this a few months ago. Use quick dry top coat on top of your manicure because it dries the layers underneath and quick! Finally have no dings in my polish lol
I also bought the US Sephora Favorites Advent Calendar. Personally, I was very happy with it, except the day with the tiny beauty blender. Between the fragrances and the handful of full size products, I felt the value was there.
I use the tiny beauty blender for eyeshadow primer and concealing/setting under my eyes. The perfume brand you got on day 4 of the US calendar is EXTREMELY expensive! They made a 7 day advent calendar for the days between Christmas and New Years that costs $1000 😱🤗

I'm very early on much more impressed by the French Sephora. Do you think we'll get an exciting last day. Opening a mini palette that matched the Orgasm blush helped as well.
Also from a nail artist: that's a wide fan brush on the nail polish, and you will probably get staining from that colour without a base and topcoat (no topcoat = crayon lines if you accidentally drag your nails across something, and if you use a good quick dry topcoat like 'fast n hard' from vibrant vinyls you won't have to wait long for it to dry!)
If you want to get rid of your KP (chicken skin) do two things, get you some CeraVe SA lotion and apply after you get out of the shower and start either drinking orange or grapefruit juice each day or taking a vitamin C supplement. Keratosis Pilaris is caused by a lack of vitamin C. It cleared mine up completely and since I make sure to either eat or drink citrus fruits each day it has not returned
I love the little sponges. I use them to blend out my concealer and shadow base. I get them at Walmart. Very good and useful to me. Emily Noel taught me about them!
For a Sephora advent calendar, this was fantastic! The empty perfume and broken stone sucked, but they’re also things you could’ve had replaced if you’d been able to buy it directly from Sephora and not a third party seller. For $99, I don’t think I would’ve been too disappointed but I don’t really think either were worth more than that. Side note: I received a Byoma serum in either my fall or summer FabFitFun box (possibly that exact one because it did look very familiar), so maybe that’s where you recognized it from?

so the anastasia product, there could be more in there than you think. i have this eyeliner pencil that i thought was running out, but it wasnt. it will only produce a certain amount of the eyeliner at one time to minimize breakage, which is actually very smart. hopefully thats the case with anastasia!

Loved this video! When it comes to those perfume minis, it’s easier to flip them upside down with the lid still on so the perfume fills up the little hole on the lid, and then tap the lid on your wrists for a less messy application ☺️

The Good Girl perfume... you could always contact the company and let them know your job and circumstances of you opening on your channel, proving it arrived empty. They may be willing to compensate you for it. Its worth a try. I would. But i love her entire line (the shoes) they're all wonderful scents and each unique.

For chicken skin, a moisturiser containing lactic acid is great!

That nail polush brush is called a wide paddle brush. That's my favourite type of brush for nail polish.

Apparently the Sephora red liquid lip from the French calendar is the most popular red lip in France! Something about it being the perfect classic French red lip shade according to the women there, plus at an affordable price!!
Just as a little side note: Sephora is actually a French company, founded at the end of the 60’s. Most people assume it’s a US company.
