Since i cant imagine zomboss having a " press f1 for help " heal then crazy dave would prob have the same thing except instead of spamton cherubs it would be a giant taco that heals the squad a high amount but also heals dave a small amount
Lore: Mad Dave was the robot chef of the great King Gargantua (replaces the king) and his faithful servant Imp (replaces Lancer)as well as for rustbot (replaces Rules kaard). Dave was constantly cooking food for them until he saw a strange entity (a neighbor) and he became malfunctioning and talked about freedom. As a result, Gargantua locked Dave in the kitchen. But then came three heroes peashooter (replaces kris), Chomper or Snapdragon (replaces Susie (and I still haven't decided who is better suited to the role of Susie in this AU)) and sunshroom (replaces Ralsei) who came to the cage where Dave was locked.
This is so worth the wait it's unreal... Great work! The nostalgia is real! "Huh? Why am I taking orders from a corrupted time machine? BECAUSE I'M CRAAAZY!!!"

I'm wondering how a machine bolted to the floor without any keys can possibly match or be a parallel to a character as energetic as jevil who is constantly bouncing and jumping around the screen, although given Dave's mechanical body he could probably have something similar to when jevil gets hit and their head bounces off on a spring

I think it would be cool if in pacifist, he would also get his, well, body, and he would give commentary furing certain circumstances, and he would have his store after chapter 3 spasificly. (In the (queen replacement's) basement, he would say his pvz 1 zomboss dialog when you try to leave to the train room after using the disk)
Pacifist would be the eyepatch probably, Violence would most likely get you some special zombie from pvz 2 that you can use to fight (instead of an rpg this would probably be based on a tower defense)
