I am an indie developer and I had to develop my company's logo, it has three words and the last one needed to have an inside depth text and I was looking for something like this, I am not a graphic designer and you made this hell lotta easy, once done I will even share the logo's like you surely will get astounded, thanks again Sir
Thanks so much for this!! I got to finally see a different way how you can create your effects for a custom type font. I used the Montana one you used in the video. Really made it look super creative and less of a hassle to memorize lol. I followed along and taught myself some neat things, now I have a few different ways to go about designing my own custom types. Hope to learn more and thanks again :)
Glad you enjoyed it Marquez! Be sure to check out the recently updated video where I show 5 ways to create custom type in Illustrator: ruclips.net/video/BEo3Sq5ihOA/видео.html
Hey. Does anyone know the best place for a clothing designer to purchase fonts that I can use for AI? The stock ones do not have as much pop as I need to separate myself from the herd so to speak.
Terry Smith one of my favorite sites for higher quality fonts that are more unique than almost all of the free ones out there is Creative Market. They are paid fonts but also very affordable, just make sure to check the licensing options you need if you’re planning on selling anything with the fonts on them!
+JennyBeth Freeman absolutely! The typeface I am using in this video is called 'Montana' and can be purchased at creativemarket.com/Alexcouture/1256217-Montana-Typeface
@@EricVasquezDesign oh i see, thanks for your quick reply. I am looking for more information across this particular style.I can't really pin point what it is but so far it seems to shares visual similarities with graffiti perspective, some thick line art cartoons and/or 3D animation. Great tutorial!
+David Buffalo absolutely - this will work for text on a path as long as you save the presets as a Graphic Style! I can make a video like this in the future to show you how to go about doing this if it would be helpful.
after so many searching finally found the best tutorial
Thank you Mark! I’m glad you enjoyed the tutorial.

Amazing!!! great job! acually like layer styles
what is this style called? pop art or graffiti? or it is it completely something else
iliquify I’m not sure this would fall into a graffiti category necessarily. I would just call it a stylized script type treatment.

Can you do the same effects with text along a path ( as in a circle)? I tried it but had problems tagging the text to perform the effects.
+David Buffalo absolutely - this will work for text on a path as long as you save the presets as a Graphic Style! I can make a video like this in the future to show you how to go about doing this if it would be helpful.
