Max, I lost my dad 6 years ago to Alzheimer's Disease and my 86-year-old mom has cognitive decline, so your message hits home. Since I found you, I have adjusted my diet and supplements to hopefully add a few years to my cognition. Your mother was a lucky woman to have you as a son. She must have been and still is, so proud. Thank you, Roberta

It as hard to comprehend that my mom was not recognized me one day , we had conversations and she told me stories about her beautiful daughter Tanya and I was sitting in front of her and she couldn’t make any connections. She past away 10 years ago and I still remember her last years , it was hard for me to see her having this horrible disease. It's great there's more and more material, personal docos, films and scientific docos being brought about Alzheimers.
Both my paternal Grandparents passed away from this.
And I'd love to know as much as this as possible.
    Knowledge is power.
And indeed what I do with this knowledge.
I consciously keep a physically active life and have gone back to Uni to finish a degree, and meditate, self care and try to keep sugars down.
Need to make conscious choices for a healthy heart and mind.
    ❤️
I'll definitely be watching this. Thanks Max.

Please watch YT videos by Dr. John Campbell and Dr. Suneel Dhand. They will teach you a lot about inflammatory diets and supplements. Also learn more about dementias from free courses by Future Learn, college level courses taught online by universities in Great Britian. They have basic to advanced information from cause to diagnosis to treatment. The more you learn the better you are able to handle life ahead. You may be terrified now, but you are young and have time to greatly slow the progress. The Alzheimer's Assoc. will try to scare you, don't let them. There are amazing ways to deal with your prognosis in positive ways. I live in NC and have a second FB page for dementia you can access. You will do great, keep learning.

Adopt the Carnivore diet, look in to it, do your own research, give it a good go for 30 or more days and watch all the youtube content by searching Carnivore, lots from doctors and those who eat this way. Its mind blowing what a change, changing your diet makes. Plant cause inflammation, sugar and carbs (complex sugar broken down to simple sugar by our body) causes insulin resistance and seed oils via the oxidized particles cause the block arteries.

Thank you for making this movie, I lost my father two years ago. He had Alzheimer's. Its a hard illness for not only the person who has it, but for the family going through it with them. I think people need to realize that it can be frustration and painful even horrifying at time's to see your loved one and what they are going through. But they don't realize what is happening to them. We see it and it hurts us. we realize what is happening to them. We need to see the world how they see it now. Even if we get frustrated and upset at the things they do and don't do. Always remember they are not doing it to hurt or frustrated or annoy us. This is just the person you love who now lives a different reality. Please remember that, and please understand it...just love them as they loved you. Even if they don't know you anymore. You know them and remember who they are and were to you..💗

Inflammation in her entire body has eased, she can follow in conversations again, do so much for herself again, her arthritis in her shoulders from over 20 years has nearly gone...and it's only been 60 days. Before this she was low fat, high fiber, and sugar (sweet tooth).

Same with my mom. She passed years ago. I want to say thank you for being there for her. Take the little jewels as gifts along the way. They exist, and will be fantastic as they happen. One day at a time. Reach out to support groups. I had one. Family goes through their own grief at that time because you lose them slowly. A group is extremely helpful. Try it, even it you don't think you need it. You can always leave it if isn't for you. Bless you.

Yes, you got it. It was worth waiting for. The title change, the change of emphasis, the focus on your mom, the understanding that to get the point across it needed to be personal, the understanding of inflammation and carb consumption, the timing that in the last four years pharma/government has outed themselves as having not serving the best interest of the people but keeping us in bondage as payers in a system. It's here. Thank you for the time, the growth, the evolution, the compassion. I'm sorry about the pain, the emotion, the loss. Many of us have gone through it and feel helpless as we've tried to teach others, but one at a time people listen and we save a few. Keep moving forward.

Happy to see this get the production it deserves. Lost 2 grandparents to dementia before I found any nuance in the idea of food quality or metabolic health, and my dad at 15 to atherosclerosis related surgical complications which, had he survived those on some other timeline, would’ve likely just allowed a few more years for presentation of early onset Alzheimer’s. In a docu landscape of “Game Changers” and other journalism-like-products, we could all use this.

I'm so scared of this disease.
    It's just so sad.

Diet aside… seeing those born in the silent generation who didn’t eat certain food suffer from this disease really has me in a state of questioning…

This is epic. So glad this is coming out to spread awareness on Alzheimer's as well as how diet & lifestyle plays a huge roll in avoiding this disease. My mom is also Cathi (different spelling) and is in the final final stages of this disease. Let's spread the word, Max! My docuseries will be out soon to continue this message!

Both my parents live in the UK my dad 88 my mum 84. Both their minds and memories are excellent, yet I have to say their diet is dreadful. My dad is the worst, hates fruit and vegetables, will only eat cabbage and peas for some reason. Cheese, chocolate, steak and whisky is how I would sum up his diet. He has never been to a gym or done any form of fitness routine in his life, yet his mind is as sharp as ever. How can this be explained? It must be genetics
