Hollywood became all about the $$ milking everything that brings in the buck losing heart and quality. These days decent stuff is only on TUBI and that's bc it streams stuff from the 80's when dialogue and well rounded characters still existed. Today's developers are in their 20's, care only about $$ and who has the best afterpaty. SAD

Agreed. The Original "The Thing, Alien, Aliens,Event Horizon,Super Nova,T1 and T2, Star Trek into darkness, Weird Science was the peak of Sci fi Imagination. Net Flix "Rebel Moon" gave me that feeling most new movies missed. "Spectral" is worth a mention also.

Why does it seem like most of these movies, people make the most selfish and worst possible choices when good choices are available, but they are supposed to be the "hero" or protagonist? They create a situation which causes property loss, people to die or get hurt, but they are supposed to be the hero? It's like the calling the arsonist started a massive fire, and then puts out the fire and calling them the hero.
