Thank you for sharing the fraudulent report info. I hope those involved are held accountable. It's inconceivable to me that that anyone could want to pull off such deception and ignore the consequences.

Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Huntington's all " almost always " present with incredible amounts of free iron in the brain
The iron causes increased oxidative stress, causing Neuro modulators/Monoamines to have a shorter half life/decay incredibly quickly.
Methylene blue as an antioxidant can work amazingly
See Dr Francisco Gonzalez-Lima's interviews on RUclips
Taking lots of magnesium,to speed up the glymphatic systems rate of clearance can work kinders
Keto genic diets, especially those with copious coconut oil
Donating blood can lower iron levels
Using things like niacin( flushing) , vitamin C, Garlic to detox is effective as well

A disease of the brain not getting enough energy. There was also something about hyperinsulinemia and insulin resistance playing a role in that.

The more I try to learn how to live healthy and prevent disease, the more I realise it doesn't have to be complicated. For thousands of years we have been working hard and testing our limits, eating what we can find or farm from nature. All of the sudden we have technology, machines, etc and all these problems seem to be getting worse. We need to get back to our primal roots (I don't mean liver king style). Go outside, try new things, eat good local organic foods, push your limits, exercise your brain and body, sleep well!

    • @fromthepeanutgallery1084
      @fromthepeanutgallery1084 Год назад

Organic does not mean "pesticide free" unfortunately. It means they use 'organic pesticides' whatever that means. You cannot buy pesticide free produce anywhere unless you grow it yourself. In addition, next time one pays 2X the price for organic, and the same company also sells a non organic version at 1/2 the price, look at the produce, it looks exactly the same.
I shop at Tradr Jo's. The organic bell peppers and non organic seem to the same product, no visual difference. One's just labeled organic. Same with the Organic and Non Organic vegetables. I buy "organic" labeled products, because I hope it will be a better choice, who knows for sure. I would love have them tested someday.
However you are on the right track. Eat as natural as possible, exercise, sleep well.

Criminal charges should absolutely be handed down from the Dept. Of Justice.
When I started caring for my grandmother, she was on two Alzheimer's medications and between Stage 3-4.
The funny thing was I was completely clueless about the disease, but was big on nutrition. Her daily diet was Pepperidge Farms Cinnamon Raisin Bread, Silk Chocolate Milk, Breyers Ice Cream, Sprite Zero, an occasional piece of meat, tons of M&Ms and Tylenol 🤦. She was also on her 2nd pacemaker with less than 5% of her heart valve working.
I began infusing grated al dente vegetables 70% worth into homemade ground turkey sliders, which hooked her. We went to the movies every Friday and walked a lot, up to 2 mi once 🤷.
From my prospective, I saw a huge delay in her memory decline and she was vibrant; especially after she told me she felt 21 again.
Yes, the doctors only waited for her decline stating her meds would eventually stop working. But in the meantime, I was able to get her off 16 meds including Tylenol, which was really only due to hunger headaches, ie., her poor diet.
She also didn't want any more M&M's…just flavorful food, a daily vitamin, mini trips and love.
Even though she didn't remember me in the end, I believe she was at peace with her thoughts and her spirit.
She did also get that 3rd pacemaker with less then 1% of her heart valve working and
    shriveling.
I hope this story helps someone ❤️

It does help, thank you so very much. I am in a similar situation with my beloved father, who was diagnosed with dementia with Lewy Bodies just under two years ago. We were told of the horrible things he faced and were told at the same time that the prescribed medication would help for only a year or so, after which we would see an inevitable and untreatable decline. I was horrified and heartbroken. My pain caused me to research; to find anything, anything at all which might help. I discovered functional medicine. And hope. Since then, diet has been the main focus. Sugar and other inflammatory foods have been reduced or eliminated. Vitamin B12 has been introduced perchance there is a deficiency. Good fat, home-made bone broth and love are the other ingredients. My heart is with you, and I send you deep respect for the love and care you gave your grandmother. Your story adds to my hope ❤ and I encourage every single person in this situation to research, to trust yourself and to act

He didn't eat much of the fat, he avoided it so much. Now, my theory is, brain is made mostly of fat, and if body doesn't have fat, which we need, it will take it from brain and brain will "dry out" and shrink. When you take statins, the good cholesterol is being eliminated as well as the bad leading to the brain not being fed and essentially starving. Cholesterol pills I believe is the cause of Alzheimer's and dementia. Look at the countries that prescribe them most and you'll find the highest rates of Alzheimer's and dementia.

My stance is that statins, which are to lower cholesterol in arteries, also lowers it throughout the body. Our brains NEED cholesterol as we age. I refuse to take statins. Their effect is not isolated to only arteries. The drug, as any drug taken orally, is going to pass thru every single organ in the body via the blood. Sticky plaques? Think about it. If anything sticks, you oil it, right? Not the opposite. Besides…. we have medical procedures available to open up arteries and clean them out if needed. I’d rather undergo that procedure than lose my mind from irreversible brain deterioration. Would be interesting to see how many residents of Memory Care facilities took statins….and for how long.

Inflammation. High levels of sugar consumption/carbs. Possibly a combination of sugar and seed oils which are highly inflammable in the body. Also alcohol consumption. My dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in his early 70s. I changed his diet which I feel allowed me to keep him another 10 years. I believe taking most refine carbs away slowed down the progression of the disease but it didn't fix it. However, it did fix his high blood pressure, he no longer had diabetes and his carotid arteries that were clogged 70% and 40% were no longer obstructed.

    • @KateKunkel
      @KateKunkel Год назад

The causes of ALL forms of dementia are varied, and what contributes to dementia in one person may be benign in another. That is partly due to genetics, but it is also due to environmental factors, including whatever toxins you were exposed to as a child AND as an adult. For example, if one person eats a lot of sugar and is obese and develops diabetes, he or she is much more likely to develop any form of dementia, especially Alzheimer's, because insulin resistance is a risk factor. However, not all those who suffer from diabesity will develop dementia.
One of those individuals could have been exposed to mercury or PCBs or mold or some other toxin, and those are also contributing factors. Or, someone could have had a traumatic brain injury many years ago and it was never properly treated, meaning poor decisions were made, there was a lot of stress or pain in their lives, and the cumulative effect is just "too much".
Cancer treatments, pharmaceutical drugs of all kinds, and so many other factors contribute. The root cause is the same as the root cause of all diseases. A combination of lifestyle and genetics. In the case of Alzheimer's Disease, having the APOE4 allele puts you at more risk but is NOT an absolute determinant. We have the power over our genes in most instances.
What other things do you do in your life that would put you at risk or give you an advantage? Do you play a musical instrument? Do you meditate? Do you have a healthy social life? Do you avoid EMF exposure? Do you live in a highly polluted environment near a freeway? Do you exercise?
The great thing is, by being aware of the risk factors, you can take steps to alleviate them and protect yourself.

I've always thought depression was a killer in many ways. When you have brain fog, you usually have depression or a depressive episode. Brain fog comes from lack of sleep, IMHO. Just my own experience. If I don't sleep well and on a schedule, I can't recall names and other things. Being 55, I put it to age. But my parents are in their 80's, not depressed, and can recall anything recent or from long ago. I think some people have a hard time getting sick and older. Those people tend to be depressed and then get insomnia. Then after you do this day to day I think the brain just starts shutting down.

No question in my mind that dietary and lifestyle factors can have a pronounced effect, and shall we say, after the ship has sailed, slow the progression rate. My mother had a serious deficit, and was in care, but mercifully she passed before reaching the later stages, although she flirted with them at times. We did find that augmenting her institutional diet, and supplementing did help. If you or a loved one has this disease my heart goes out to you.
Another extremely counter intuitive aspect of her case was that she "seemed" to be sensitive to anti-biotics in a strangely positive way. She lost her mobility a few years in, as many people in care do, and was therefore prone to UTI's and there was what appeared to be, over time, this rebound effect. She would decline into an unresourceful level, the Doctor would shake her head and say something like, this is just the progression of this horrible disease, we would steel ourselves to this being the future reality, but ask about a UTI test or results, and if she had one and was treated, it seemed she would rebound back to a state in which she was talking, eating and reacting and at least taking some joy here and there.
I don't know if anyone else experienced this from their medical system, but it seemed, from day one, in the Hospital on, the whole med establishment seemed to believe that UTI's can cause transient Alz like symptoms. Although no one seemed to have an explanation why this specific infection might have this effect and how. Eventually we bought into it too, to the point where we believed there was distinction between my mothers actual baseline state and these mysterious UTI effects. There did seem to be some validity to it. She was treated, and then rebounded, time and time again. Over time there did seem to be cracks in this scenario. There were events of reduced cognition in which she tested UTI negative and they continued for weeks with us again ready for the worst. Then we asked for a retest, it came back positive, my mother was treated, and poof back to what we considered her baseline. Then we began asking for treatment, in shorter time frames, even on negative tests, and it still had a positive rebound effect. I also noticed what I believed to be a greater efficacy when AB's that penetrated the blood brain barrier easier were used. When she passed at 89, after 5 years in care, she was still recognizing us, talking, eating and moving in a wheelchair somewhat. There was a gradual decline over that span, but I still believe that these extreme dips were either not directly related to the original disease or it was being moderated by the treatment. My question at the time became why did this happen. Obviously unless we were all suffering from severe observer bias, something is wrong with this model of progression and treatment. It does not fit the accepted parameters at all IMO.
At the time, I did discover some fledgling work that proposed a bacteriological/viral cause for some dementia's. One proposed that some common bacteria were able to penetrate a leaky blood brain barrier in elderly patients and that some dementias might be attributable to an immune response to those infections. Not sure if that has been disproven, or if there are any credible studies of the hypothesis, but if so, I would guess they are on the down low from the uni-theory pressure that Max alluded to. Now I don't know what explains my experience, it could be as simple as any serious infection, in an elderly person, depleting limited resources, and causing a mental deficit. It could have been wishful thinking combined with observer bias. It might also be that there is a bacteriological/viral component to some dementias and that medical staff have been seeing the effect for years, but their cause and effect conclusion is in error, and the AB work to quell the state somehow, regardless if there is a UTI or not. Personally I think that is quite possible in this one case at least.
I certainly don't want to give anyone false hope, I know the desperation that can come with having a loved one in purgatory, and I certainly don't recommend running off half cocked demanding Anti-biotics from your doctor, but a little research couldn't hurt, if you are facing the point of no return. Sorry for the War and Peace comment.

I kept asking the doctors to put my mother on a low “maintenance” dose of antibiotics, because I noticed the same pattern. They put me off, for years, until she finally passed. It was never “time yet.”

@@janetanderson495 It took us quite a while, but eventually after 3-4 year's the Doctor did relent and prescribe a low dose prophylactic AB. It did seem to smooth the peaks and keep my mother's mental state more consistent, at least in my subjective opinion..

You have put more thought into this important topic than most doctors. I think it’s worth investigating. The UTI’s are something I have noticed as inducing cognitive symptoms as well. I believe dietary factors are the root cause as pervDr. Joel Wallach.

I have been working in nursing homes almost 23 years and there is a direct relationship between too many prescriptions of antibiotics and c-diff. I believe this is the reason that doctors and nurse practitioners are leery to use antibiotics as often many are suggesting.

I was a looking after old people 38 years ago . Old people 70 80 90 year old. Not one of my clients had any problems in the mind. I went back to that job 28 years ago . Only one beautiful 55 year old had serious memory problems. Fast forward 8 years ago decided to go on a course to get certification to help looking after OAPS. Nearly whole course was about Dementia Altzimers
Seems that majority of these OAPs had these diseases.
I concluded that the only common denominator was the flu vaccine. When you have a virus injection then it stays in the brain eating away . Yet when you get the flu your immune system heats up body and brain to burn away the virus.

Hmmm....wonder if its an auto-immune type situation specifically attacking the brain? Toxins, chemicals, artificial everything(!) In food, air, water. These things have increased hugely in last 50 + years. Could trigger this response in people's brains, but in some its another type of disease (arthritis, attn disorders, etc)?

Someone needs to research the effects of modern toothpaste when it comes to plaque in the brain. I stopped using tooth paste and went to baking soda and coconut oil instead and have had no plaque for 6 years now. After 3 visits over 2 years because that’s when I used to have to go get cleanings, I’ve quit the cleanings because I haven’t needed them. Money saved and only go for checkups for other possibilities occasionally.
