@Hyce - Just a note for the future, you can send freights to the wrong platform, and reverse then (They wont leave the map) so the freights from east market to Anacosta could go to Riverdale first, then go down Anacosta. takes a bit more micro management, but is doable
Oh, that might be the move. Hard with how saturated Riverdale is but that's the fun, right?
He hasn't used Platform 4 at Benning, so he could build a reverse loop from Benning 1 to 4 and then route Benning 4 down towards Anacosta.
@@CMDRSweeper That might work in the short-term, but ultimately I'm going to have to run-through benning to the west side of the map.
Hints for Auto Signals:
- they can queue up connections
- mouse wheel changes the path (sadly dosn't always work on occupied tracks)
Yup! I learned the latter this episode. The queue's are unlocked via a contract upgrade though
So far I've only been playing timetable.
I learned about unlocks only after writing the comment.

System has 300 diffrent stations and alternating stations, im sure you can route trains from yard to yard with that system, it does take a minute or two to set up, but seems like no proble when the consists (unlike where railways function) stay for days on end in one spot

Wait. Rosslyn. Crystal City?? This map is based off of a real place! It's the northern virginia and DC Metro system!
It is the Washington D.C. map, i picked it because it's hard and i can pronounce the names. Lol
Finally….some watchable content.
Would love to you do more of this game.
I'll see about giving it another go. It never did very well comparatively on the channel which is why I let it go, but it is a really fun game..

@@Hyce777 Avoid getting the US trains addon if that is the case Hyce.
You will end up operating the GG1 forever, the speed and performance of that locomotive is addicting and you get no viable replacement until you reach the 90s!

I wrote it myself.
For that East Market route south, could you run through say, Benning 1 roop back to Benning 4, then turn south and head to Lansdale or whatever with a wye?
For sure, I just didn't want to make that loop as it requires 2 platforms and I'll eventually need to run west out of Benning as well.

35:07 your mouse is momentarily over the train instead of the signal, then it reverses. Did you accidently right click the train? Right-click-to-reverse is a purchasable upgrade.

Hi Hyce, I have a problem with railroads online and since I can't as you on discord for obvious reasons I am asking you here. I am having trouble filling the Cooke Mogul up with water, no matter how I line up the water tower the locomotive will not take on more water. Can you help or will I need to wait for the spline update to fix the issue?
Is the tender actually empty? The UI value is the boiler's water capacity. The only way to see if the tender is out is to open the hatch and look.
@@Hyce777 ok. But what is happening is I open the hatch and put the water spot in and then when I go into the locomotive it says the water level is decreasing not increasing. Granted I have 4,500.49 in the tank left but if I can't add more it worries me.
@@jacobramsey7624 that is the maximum allowed in the boiler. that means you have enough haha. If it gets much below 4500 (4400 or less) you need more in the tender. Functionally it doesn't matter so long as you have more than 1.
@@Hyce777 great!! Thanks so much I really appreciate it! Good luck with the spline update and I wish you could bring back the model updates for railroads online in discord. I enjoyed looking at the upcoming models and imagining what I could do with them.
