I felt incredibly privileged to see him play last night in my home town of Lancaster, in the UK. I was blown away, apart from just an incredible programme (Ravel Gaspard, Rachmaninoff Piano Sonata 2, and loads more) it was all played with astonishing passion, clarity and virtuosity. The audience was not big enough for such a phenomenon, but we were all very appreciative, and he rewarded us with two encores!
