This is a wonderful performance in every way. Fine orchestra contribution. Sound and visuals also excellent. Easy to see the pianist-conductor relationship is solid.

Finally.. listening to the end, I was so impressed with the musicianship, thrilling rhythmic acuity displayed by Alim. What a quartet partner he’d be. The “March” variation… you could see the orchestra respond to his precise portrayal…. Rock solid but never stiff. Again, kudos as well to this most wonderful conductor and orchestra… every section superb! Wish I had been there. Bravo.
