- Russ gets measured, foamed, and a trimmed! In this episode I mark the reference points, spray the foam, and cut/rasp the rough outline. Keep an eye out for the next video; I will be doing the detail work to get the bed panel ready for the fiberglass.

It's called a rasp, or shaper plane for woodworking. The one I'm using is a cheap/disposable unit made by Stanley.

I think florist foam would have been easier to use.
I think you could've split the fender across the top and down the middle then pulled it out and welded patches in. Would've given you more wheel space.
Yeah, that’s why I never finished this part of the project. Saw too many different possibilities that just worked better.

Yes, I have a completely different D21 project that will be using 4WD front fenders and a custom rear over fender setup.
I decided to use pocket fender flares on this truck a long time ago, so, I put the brakes on making the over fenders for now. However, I will be doing this 100% on the second truck.
I'll give you $5 if you do the overs in carbon
