  • It’s official and it’s never really happened to me before except for maybe Gallien Krueger. I’m a fanboy of UA.

Nice sounding chain! I see the Microcosm (look's to be set) very low in the mix... nice idea - is that the gentle ambient tones in background? Is there another pedal contributing to this? I have never used Blooper but would love to try, alas the mono has discouraged me from buying it and I've already got Aeros LoopStudio - BUT - I would love some of the twisting and changing of the loop's it can do!
Also - I have never used an interface for recording - I started using the Zoom H6 as a 3 stereo channel recorder then moved to the Zoom L12. I am getting great sounding recording's then dump the files into Logic later on. It's nice having the computer for software synth's and playing track's in layered song's and not worry about computer "crapping the bed" during a recording but I guess crashes and glitches are probably a thing of the past? Anyway - nice tones and playing - Keep it up - Pedal's and exploring sound is my Prozac!

Ok I had to go look at what I had going on for this one. The Mood and the Microcosm are doing the background stuff. Stretch is set to latching and to slowly fade and the Mosaic just does what it wants. Personally I prefer to record loops dry so mono early in chain is fine for me. Oh looks like I captured a loop at the end with the Count to 5.
I am recording directly into my iPhone from the 276 into the Shure Motiv video app.
This whole setup is built around getting in and out quickly, I can turn on/play around for a few/ and get out quickly. I have been really resisting getting into a home studio or tracking setup only because it would suck me in for hours lol
