Playing guitar at home… on two…

Nice. Took my stress away.
@@gregandree71 thank you!
This is a great vibe
@@gregandree71 thank you!
cool, some informations bout the pedals you use would be cool :)
@@maenaak I did a video about my ghost patch.. Also, I posted a walk-through of my pedal board today. Let me know if there’s more info than I gave that you want. I haven’t really done any deep dives on individual pedals but if there’s something you wanna know, I’m happy to consider it
Glad you posted....now i can get dialed in in my cerebral cortex...😊
@@tonyvinesmusic ha thank you so much. I’m loving the fact that I have a profile of my own amp. It’s like a fresh beginning.
@@athomeontwo gotta love the inspiration for sure.
I have an older JC 120 but man it's hard to play it low volume to practice....I been thinking about the JC 22 latley....
@@tonyvinesmusic I think I’ve had three or four of the various smaller jazz chorus type amps over the years they never sound the same unfortunately.
Great stuff....thank you!
Totally agree with the weight being included in the inspection. Kind of lose confidence in their competency though if they can't weigh and list a accurate weight. Can they be trusted to do a 55 point inspection without dropping the ball somewhere else if they can't list correct weights? I buy from Sweetwater and Musician's Friend/Guitar Center and i've had nothing but good experiences with both thankfully. Maybe my next purchase will be guitar center since they're local and returns wouldn't require shipping.
So much soul...awesome....
Man this is excellent....I sure would like to hear more of this....
@@tonyvinesmusic thank you!
It does not seem clear if the isolation worked out. I'm wrestling with bleed from guitar into a mic that goes into a Boss VE-2. All the guitar bleed gets processed and wipes out the vocals. So I need a lot of isolation. My question to you is :: can you rotate the capsule so you can aim the rejection part of the cardioid polar pattern at the guitar ?
@@Droidiphile possibly I don’t think it has particularly good rejection to be honest. I would’ve liked it to be a super cardiod rather than just cardio, but I’ll give it a shot.
I messed with it a little bit. My room has too many reflections. There’s always gonna be a bit of bleed. Part of the answer for you might be to put a little sound dampening wherever the reflections are coming from.
Very nice.
Most IRs are taking a swing at the JC with their clean cabinet; they just won't call the patch a JC so Roland won't sue them.
@@reddi-rich i’m gonna have to keep my eyes open. You would think the boss would be the best, but as somebody who’s recorded and owns a JC and multiples over the years I can say it’s tough to dial-in
@@athomeontwo Ultimately comes down to the IR-200 being a modeler underneath the hood, not a profiler. It's not at all relevant that Boss has access and rights to the original parts lists, circuit designs, & other related intellectual property. You might consider looking at a full profiler with captures of actual JC-120s preloaded, or having one of your own captured & loaded for you. The IR-200 can only ever get you part of the way there with cabinet IRs driven by models.
@ yeah, I’ve considered it it would be an investment. I’ve just not heard anything yet That would make me invest that kind of money. Which one would you recommend?
@ well you got me let me be the first to say happy birthday to me. I ordered a nano cortex. I’m gonna have to get somebody to help lug my JC 120 out of storage. We’ll see how good it sounds.
@@athomeontwo AxeFx 3 & Kemper Stage Profiler are very compelling. I wouldn't curse anyone with the Fractal learning curve, though. Neural is most of the way there. Helix & Headrush are lagging behind. The rest I've tried aren't in the race yet. Point of reference: Backline vendor.
Great tones! Really appreciate your signal chains... been on the quest for a while - your inspiring me to start recording more vids again - documenting my journey. Been running a 3 board effects chain and many variations of and in-between. Your choices and creations from are music to my ears! Keep it up! Thanks for speaking clearly of your signal path and the why's of placement.
@@JasonBrockStick thznk you much! I’m keeping an eye out for your vids! I’m finding myself drifting into more of a recording, set up than a pedal board set up and that’s dangerous lol it gets really expensive
Gorgeous music. Thank you.
Where's lion??
@@Guilhermefreitas5 do you mean the universal audio lion?
@athomeontwo yes
@ I am more of a JTM guy than a super lead guy. This morning I just put my IR 200 on the board so I can try Marshall tones if I want.
Cicognani, right? Isn't that an awesome brand?
@@thisisqualia so far, I love it, it delivers exactly as advertised
Really great sounds
As soon as I watched this video, I ordered one off analog man with all the mods. So, thank you! Also, what's that sample pad looking thing on your board??
I think you are looking at the Empress Zoia
@athomeontwo thank you :)
What pedals are you combining/stacking here? I love the sound so much, I find myself coming back just to listen to this jam. It's fantastic
@ it’s been a while. Let me review the video. I’ll let you know what I Was doing
This is my initial attempt at a Yamaha RA - 200 type effect.
Awesome. Thanks for sharing 🙏
Nice. "I was here before it went viral" as they say Which I think it will
@@HenryMcGuinnessGuitar thank you!
This was the soundtrack of my post workout meal. Thank you
Well done, indeed could you upload it to patch storage ?
@@swamptank7531 I think I still have it. There are cosmos emulators available on patch storage. I’ll take a look.
Great music dude. Keep it going.
rilexx
Are you enamored with the MXR layers still? Recommend?
@@aumbonda i would recommend if it is your only pitch shifter/follower. Right now the Microcosm or Zoia bump it off the board. It gets a little tricky if multiples are on there… the background gets a little busy for me.
Waiting until I do the v.5 update and downloading on all 3 of mine… this is beautiful. Can’t wait to use it !
Crystal Clear across the Airwaves...Thank you sir.
Really nice. Is it up on Patch storage? Can't find it...
@@frankybebop2913 I’ll put it up there tonight after work
@@athomeontwo Thats great! Thanks!

This is fantastic! I hope to learn a few things for my own ambient ambitions.
Looking around at 2SB171 demos to compare to the NKT Red Dots. I cannot BELIEVE how good and clear that 2SB171 sounds! Definitely helped to assuage my doubts. Amazing jam, and fantastic pedalboard my friend!
@@jhartbassoon thank you, glad it helped! Funny enough, I was thinking about pulling out my 171 last week!
@@athomeontwo Hope you do give it a spin! I'll be purchasing mine over the Black Friday weekend. Beyond stoked. Getting it on the FF side of the Sun Lion.
Hey man, is your tube pilot pedal modified or does it have a naturally gated sound with low drive?
@@jacquesmccallum-lind1210 i’m running a stock Brand New right out of the box. I am actively using the volume and tone of my guitar, so to feed it different tones. It is getting hit with stacked compression as well.
Great tones man, sounded like a movie score. Good stuff 💪💪💪
@@GuitarVacation thank you I appreciate it!
Were you running both in series first in chain?
@@BunchyMutt yep previously i had them post gain
i love the look of the black version, it goes with black and white set ups so much better than purple xD
Why do you keep recording yourself back-lit? Didn't you learn anything at zero hour from Mr. Johnson ?
@@johnscott7406 mr. Johnson was art Flan was the video production guy and for the life of me. I can’t remember the teacher in there.
Just wanted to reach out and say I don't know who you are but the algorithm brought me to your videos and I'm watching them every night while teaching myself to build pedals. Very lovely stuff.
@@adamnesbitt11 wow thank you, youll have to share your pedals once you start production
Pick two pedals from the board , what two . I have a few , sounds great, man .
@@anthonyfox1436 I have to say I would probably take the PC2a or the pedal 76 and the EQ there’s just something missing for me. Everything else is like cake dressing.

Hi! I looking for parametric EQ pedal to my chain...not for guitar... for boosting, coloring my beats sound before send to daw. Could you recommend something? Thanks
@@jkplusone Empress Para EQ Deluxe. High headroom, I think it ramps internally to 27v internally and has a boost. If you sift through my videos, you’ll hear it on there. I can’t remember if I did a video specifically about it. I’m sure once my pultech phase goes away the para EQ will come back on
@@athomeontwo Just one more...Equinox or Empress? What you think what the main differences?Thank you,Sir!
@ I would say Empress, no question. Equinox, 18v passive, selectable eq bands that cross over, somewhat limited but all useable. Empress, 27v, sweepable eq, adjustable bandwidth , shelf filter, pass filters, true or buffered bypass. I am sure the empress will end up back on my board
@@athomeontwo Thank you Sir!U helped a lot!
I have a MXR 10 band EQ in the loop. Should this go before it im assuming?
@@Lesspaw41 yes, personally I put the EQ before the modulation/delay.
