Ditto on everything thought you had on why people watch travel vlog. It is all of the mentioned. Can’t travel + your calm personality that make me binge watch almost all of your videos. Happy Christmas Paddy 🫰🏼
I can answer part of your question about why I watch this channel, Paddy. It is 45% of where you are and the beauty of those places and what I learn about them and get a chance to see them through your lens. The other 55% is because I trust in you and your honest and charming way in which you give us a chance to join you in your good times and tough times and even in a few bad times. I watch other Thai related and the broader S.E Asia channels and some I enjoy very much and tend to watch as a regular looking forward to each new installment. But your channel is very much like I am sitting and listening to my friend describe his day. It goes beyond the things I learn about the places and the special images to a chance to catch up with you and see how you are doing and what you discovered today. If there is such a thing as becoming a close friend in a virtual world you have achieved that, and I am forever grateful. Enjoy Koh Samui. Say hello to Flora and Note if you get a chance to connect with them. See you soon in Chiang Mai. Merry Christmas Paddy and Pritchy.
the ruins looks so beautiful. At some of the tombs of Korean kings, I found a road, lookin like the one in the video, only with two arrays: the lower one is for the spirit of the deceased and the higher one is for a light to guide the spirit to the ancestral rite.
Laos is a fertile country. Covered with forest resources and the terrain is mostly mountains and streams, it is undeniable that from north to south Laos is full of waterfalls. I ❤ this country. Your video is amazing 👍👍👍👍Paddy.
Well as it happens I booked a ticket to Pakse about the same time you posted this. Nice one! You inspired me to finally get out of Oz to travel to these parts (in Cambodia now) and so double thank you!! Now I've just got to brave up to get back on a motor bike after a 3 year gap...in a 'wrong side of the road' country ;)
You ask why I watch travel vlogs: Simple. I fell in love with Thailand. Leaving broke my heart into pieces. Now that I have a better job (much more money), I know I can come back....and when I do return, I want to hit some of the places you have shared.
In India similar waterfall is there like this third waterfall. They provide life jacket to go and swim. So me who is a non swimmer enjoyed so much in that waterfall. Will be visiting Laos soon and will be doing all three waterfalls 😍
Just Epic, really liked the slow-motion drone shots over the waterfalls. Love your adventuresome exploring nature Paddy. Most would have just left on that third waterfall with everything abandoned. It was the best one! You had me on the edge of my seat crossing the river, looked rather precarious! Another great video Paddy!
Just be you. We watched you because my wife missed home. It's been over 7 years since she, and the kids last visited Laos. When you were in Watt Phou, you were just a few miles from where my wife used to live. Your adventures kept our desire alive, to go back and do it all over again! Thanks!
WOWWWW! I'm only up to the first waterfall and it's STUNNING and then you say it's only number 3! Laos was never a country I'd considered visiting but your experiences and the way you are presenting it in all its beauty, it now needs to be added to my list. Amazing! Love your videos and your honesty. Oh and Merrrrrrrrry Christmas!
Those waterfalls look great, especially the second one!!! The main reason I watch your (and similar) channels is, to get some inspiration for my own travels around the world. I started to watch your channel with the Vietnam series, because I went to Vietnam myself this summer. And these Laos video's are tempting me to go there myself some day. Also its great just to watch you exploring these places, even if people are not planning to go to Vietnam, Thailand or Laos. You have a great way of presenting and your video/drone skills are top level!!!
Epic intro. Love your videos. Wow. Epic waterfalls. Epic shots. Always next level. Beautiful video. You always pick the perfect music. Lovely to watch. The zip line. No. Lol. Love your videos. Always uplifting. Feel good vibes. You always make me smile, mate. Zelda on that little boat. I felt nervous. Splits. Lol. Beautiful video. I love you let your imagination, run wild. You are a lovely young man. I love traveling through your eyes. I always worry you're lonely. But love how real you are. That is why I will always support you. I love your questions. It depends. LOL. Loving these longer videos. Respect. All the work. You know I love your videos. Thank you for being you. And sharing these beautiful places. Have a lovely day. x
I first started watching travel vids 7 or 8 yrs ago as part of research I was doing for trips I was planning. Further travel looking unlikely now in immediate future for various reasons, so now I watch for a bit of escapism. I like that you keep it real and make it feel like you are travelling pretty much the same way whether you were filming it or not. With a lot of other travel vloggers I find it feels like they are all about creating content, not necessarily exploring a destination
Paddy don't no were my first comment went it was only about the boat anyway them waterfalls looked beautiful I no swimming in pools at this of year r cold to don't no if that's the same but some amazing places u bring us and your right we don't see what u go through to get so fairplay
Dear Paddy! You are creating the most lovely travel content from SEA! For me you are an idol! :) I can't remember all the places you've been, but every video makes me want to come back to Asia more! keep it up!!
Thankyou Paddy for all these videos. I am heading off in January for 4 months travelling which will take me also through Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos …a gap year that is almost 50 years later than normal! Your travels have brought our plans alive…and your presenting, humour, respect and honest appreciation of the people and the cultures make your channel an absolute joy to follow. ❤ Phillipa
What an experience! The ferry looked kind of dangerous, I would have worried so much 😂I like the way you do the videos, come over as such a lovely person. I think I watch to dream about the next travels, see beautiful places in the world, and your positive atmosphere.
I watch travel videos to see different countries, cultures, etc. and dream about places I might like to visit one day. I really like your content because you are moderate and genuine. The first video of yours that I watched was Angkor Wat. You were so in awe of the place and I just felt connected because of your reverence and respect for where you were. I decided then you are a traveler I wanted to follow because you have a true heart felt appreciation for people and places and aren't just using them to create content. You are truly just taking us on your journey. I don't watch creators that are just jam packing sites into an over-produced, fast paced video just to mark them off the list and convince the viewers that they are super awesome. I want to have a little experience of the people and place and you bring that. I feel like I'm walking around with you talking to a friend and it's really lovely.
I had cancer and recovered now, but I can't walk more than 50 meters. I used to travel in the past and your videos delight me, your comments and videos in your exploration of places made my day. Thank you for sharing your travels with us. I am following you from Saudi Arabia, good luck and have a nice trip
Perfect timing 😍 we started today the Loop from Pakse 👍🏼👍🏼 To answer your question: Before I travel to another country, I watch videos and read blogs, to get inspiration what I would like to see on the trip. I found your channel while I was planning our Laos trip 👍🏼 I love your videos 😃
Hi Paddy , your our Asian Yellowstone . We can’t get enough of your vlogs . Happy new year 2023 . Safe RIDING . Best wishes from Sydney Australia. Warren and Aroon
Well done for showing respect for the history and culture at Wat Phou. Such a beautiful place which is open to the public. I wish Preah Vihaarn was also open again 😢
For anyone planning on doing the pakse loop, dont miss Tad Jarou Halang (Tad Tayicseua) falls. It is possibly the best waterfall I have ever seen. Right up there with Kuang Si Falls in Luang Prabang!!!
Another fantastic video...amazing waterfalls. Laos has thrown up some absolute gems. To answer your question...I find SE Asia truly special and your videos/vlogs have provided us with amazing sights, some off the beaten track and not on some of the tourist videos you see on You Tube. For example, on our last visit to Thailand in April we travelled from Khon Kaen to Nakhon Phanom and Mukdahan to see the Mekong, Wat Phratat Phamom and Great Buddha (and dragon) temple. You have a great sense of humour and it's been an honour to follow you over the past 2 years. I would love to visit Vietnam, rural Laos (I have been to Vientienne) and Cambodia. Additionally, there are places I would still like to visit in Thailand, but have visited 49 provinces and seen many beautiful temples, beaches, cities, sunrises, sunsets, animals, waterfalls, forests and not forgetting beautiful people and food etc. Your videos have given me the inspiration to continue visiting SE Asia, easily my favourite part of the world. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Paddy. Keep doing what your doing and in your own way 😉😁👍🙏
It's time for you to explore Laos. Ride the brand new Laos-China railway. Eat at all the restaurants. Shop for all the clothes. I bought 20 t-shirts for $1.00 each. The prices are amazing low.
25:00 " Random Temples " 🤔 It's your honesty, All of the above and Ok , Ok, your cheeky little smile. I'm 63 and your taking me places That I would more than likely never get to see.🤗
Paddy I watch you because you are yourself in the videos, you show us the good and bad of travels. To be honest, I love to see the struggles experienced when traveling, not because I like to watch you suffer, but because I wish to do something similar so it gives me a fighting chance to prepare myself (for example your trip in Vietnam with the punctures haha now I know its worth maybe bringing a repair kit, you know stuff like this). Also, I love how you film, with the music, voice overs, cinematography of you walking or riding by, the drones shots as well (drone shots are amazing). You are a legend Paddy. Love Arty
For me,,, I watch ur vlog cas of all the reasons you stated. Being a photographer and living in Thailand I really appreciate all the effort, B roll, research and filming you do. But mostly I appreciate ur honesty and no BS approach which makes ur videos enjoying and ur not a wanker haha
Paddy Doyle! Be confident and keep doing what you’re doing! Your content is better than anyone else’s! Really dude you are killing it everytime! I am a 61 yo retired American airborne ranger and I live in Bangkok and I am married to a beautiful Thai woman and we use your videos as a recon for future trips! Keep it up bro!
Hi Paddy, I've recently discovered your chanel and to answer your question: I personally watch your videos to get an impression of a place that I might want to travel to myself and also to get tips and see places that not every other travel vlogger has already mentioned. And ofc I like to follow your journey, I didn't even think of going to Laos but after your Thailand videos I'm hooked now and love seeing you discovering new places and showing us how it really is there. Keep doing what you're doing :)
Me for example, I like to watch your videos for entertainment. Some inspire me, like your Uthai Thani video. I followed you there and even stayed in the same resort. There I realized how difficult your work is, because I would not have wanted to work there and edit. No chair, bad internet. It was more like camping. So now you have one answer. Thank you for sharing your adventures. I love your channel because you are not the clown and over the top like so many others. Merry Christmas.
I watch your vlog because I'm a 52 year old Brit settled in Phuket after 20 years of part time travelling around Asia. You're showing me places I never got around to visiting when I still had the energy to before entering middle age and wanting a more settled life.
Still watching your channel cus I'd say it's more realistic than most other channels, it is rare to see someone willing to share both ups AND downs footages as you do. I hate that many other channels regarding the "beauuutiful" locations that you'd been to as "easy paradises". No that is not true, you can't reach those places without beating your own arses & back & belly through dusty & bumpy & dangerous roads, I'd been to many of those places you featured as well & so far the authenticity is higher that other guys. So as long as it is what it is now, I'm still watching; if it's a new place like Laos, that's great I have new info to know; if it's a place I'd been to like Vietnam or Thailand, that's also great I can relive the old experience all over again.
Epic waterfalls mate, and the views... wow. But seeing you on Zelda crossing that river on that little wooden boat 😯 well done not tumbling ober the side into the meh Kong 💪 Today was a rainy day as the past week was here and we enjoyed watchin your Laos series mate almost finished it. Why i watch your channel as a few others is about you and your journey as a traveller, i started watchin cause of C19 mate and we couldn't travel to the Thai family. Now it is about your story. So you are making such good quality content, it is the main readon why i watch, just you mate. So say hello to Miss P if you read this 🤗 Thanks for your hard work filming and editing🙏 And as always, C Ya in the next one, cheers Paddy 🙌🍻
Spot on, Paddy. Brought a tear to my eye. I had a terrible work accident with my leg and can’t possibly travel. Watching your videos shows me places I could never go, in a way only a traveler can. Thank you and best of luck mate!
I got caught under a waterfall in NT Australia, 1/2 that size! Pushed down into rock crevasse for 30 secs, could not get UP, lucky moving back into cliff face allowed me to pop back up! YEAP take care folks!! That's HUGE about of water weight!!
There are a lot of travel blogs out there. I so much enjoy yours. They are thought provoking. Great information. Music is lovely and I have clicked on a lot of others however, you are my favorite... LIsten I am a 64 year old woman and I will be there in a few months. YOu have taken the fear out of traveling. I will find the Hunk and ride him as you have your girls.
LOLOL your getting into your swimmers and ‘gonna show us the reveal?’ We hope you are talking about the waterfall water! 😂 Watching all of your wonderful shows from 🏴 Merry Christmas Paddy! 🧑🎄
I love how you always dare to venture onto these paths that show "No entry" signs. I love to do that as well when I'm exploring out there but I'm just scared of 1 thing... dogs.
👍 Paddy, à Amazing Video , Beautiful Waterfall and I like your Honest Story about your Boring Days. Real Human. We only see the Beautiful Things. Have a Safe Journey. 🙏
Hi Paddy, we watch your videos as we like your personality, you speak like Ricky Jervis a bit and we couldn't have time to travel in all those places with two kids that need to go to school. Thank you for letting us see the places we would not be able to.
asking yourself why I watch your blogs? Mere inspiration, transported "unspectacularly", but with a great, positive vibe - even if shit goes down. Simply emotional. Empathic. Authentic. Nothing more. Nothing less. So thanks for that. P.S. and yes, catching ideas for trips to come, after deeply falling in love with SEA. Thanks to you...
Paddy you do a wonderful job of navigating between highly choreographed and authentic “au naturale”. I like that you keep it raw(ish), natural and authentic but still keep it professionally edited. Really good job. Loving the Laos series. Kop jai.
I missed this Vlog somehow, nothing like playing catch up. Great stuff Paddy. Personally I can't wait to see you back on Zelda touring through Thailand and surrounding countries. That's what got me hooked on your Vlogs, the adventure out there riding wherever the notion too you.
I love traveling but your channel is the best out of all the other u tubers..and your presentation skills are superb i recently subscribed to your channel but now i started watching all of your videos ..
Hi Paddy, in answer to your question on this video. I am 70 years of age and live in Thailand. I would love to do what you do but know my capabilities so I live vicariously through you. Thank you so much. Merry Christmas. Xxoo
@Paddy Doyle ma man make sure you do you cuz we like watever you do ma man! Like you said I am saving up and watching you makes better plans of dat future trip!
The pictures on the walls of Vat Phou looks exactly the same as those found on Angkor Wat walls. The Khmer Empire used to stretch all the way north and south in current Thailand and Vietnam.
Hey, Paddy! I almost missed this video because you didn't add it to the Laos playlist so I thought I'd comment to warn you in case you're not aware. And thank you for your amazing videos! I fell in love with a country that I had never even considered the possibility of visiting.
I enjoy watching your videos to see your reactions to your discoveries. I enjoy your natural demeanor and responses. Keep doing what you do and sharing yourself with us. Merry Christmas and cheers to an awesome 2023!
❤🙏🏼Your films are Amazing! Wow what a beautiful view & temples.Difficult time in my life just now, but intend to return Thailand were I was so happy. Hopefully 2023. Have a fantastic New Year! 🎉❤💞💋🎊🥂🍾
I started watching your videos on Thailand as we’re here now and your info has been invaluable. I enjoyed the videos so have subscribed and will continue watching your adventures. 👌🏼
to explore with u brother thanks for your video. reminds me of my 17 y.o self travelling now the flooded area of 3 gorges with not a care in the world. singapore
I always enjoy your videos. Yes, you are going to places that some people may never see in their lifetime. Recently I was in Laos. However I only made it to Vientiane and Luang Prabang. In this video, I'm seeing so much more of Laos that I would love to see in person. In November 2023, I will be living in the Philippines. I hope to get over some of the countries you have been visiting. If you haven't already, try to bring Zelda to the Philippines 😊😊😊
MERRY CHRISTMAS ❤🇱🇦❤ Thanks for watching ✌

Why i watch your channel as a few others is about you and your journey as a traveller, i started watchin cause of C19 mate and we couldn't travel to the Thai family. Now it is about your story. So you are making such good quality content, it is the main readon why i watch, just you mate. So say hello to Miss P if you read this 🤗
Thanks for your hard work filming and editing🙏
And as always, C Ya in the next one, cheers Paddy 🙌🍻
Paddy ! Don’t change a Thing your a real one and we’re glad to have you .
Chess pieces didn't come to mind. Or I don't know what set you play with. 😁
I love nature so I love all of your Laos videos. Laos is simply peaceful and beautiful.
Watching all of your wonderful shows from 🏴
Merry Christmas Paddy! 🧑🎄
You´re doing a good job not being obnoxious! Keep up the great work!
Wow how beautiful are theses waterfalls ❤❤❤
Mr Doyle, your videos just keep getting better and better!
I also crossed the Mekong with the same person and the same boat, it was really a great experience 🥰
masterful!
Reveal after revel after reveal…
Oddly enough I retired from aviation after 40.5 years. Worked on Gulfstreams from the G150 to the G650.Haven’t flown since.Miss airplanes some times.
asking yourself why I watch your blogs? Mere inspiration, transported "unspectacularly", but with a great, positive vibe - even if shit goes down. Simply emotional. Empathic. Authentic. Nothing more. Nothing less. So thanks for that. P.S. and yes, catching ideas for trips to come, after deeply falling in love with SEA. Thanks to you...
Love watching your vlog, I usually watch all kinds of traveling channel before traveling. Pakse is on my bucket list.
I was there 10 years ago. Very gorgeous! Also, delicious coffee !
Paddy you do a wonderful job of navigating between highly choreographed and authentic “au naturale”. I like that you keep it raw(ish), natural and authentic but still keep it professionally edited. Really good job. Loving the Laos series. Kop jai.
Amazing PD all the best from me in Australia 🇦🇺 best wishes to you and your family 👪
It’s a small price to pay to see the amazing parts of the world, keep doing it Paddy. Thank you so much 😊
i love waterfalls at boulaven plateau ❤

Some of the shots you get with your drone are simply breath taking 😳😳 Thanks Paddy
Paddy, Thanks for you and for Zilda :) can't wait to watch what's next after "NEXT LEVEL" 😀
Great job, bro. I can't wait for my trip there. Paradise😀
Hey, Paddy! I almost missed this video because you didn't add it to the Laos playlist so I thought I'd comment to warn you in case you're not aware.
And thank you for your amazing videos! I fell in love with a country that I had never even considered the possibility of visiting.
Went to that deserted waterfall back in 2012; there was nobody there then either but it was a little less deserted.
Actually got a quest for yah! Be very interesting for you to interview a monk and or experience their religion for a day!
Love your videos. Always entertaining and delightful the way you explain everything. MERRY CHRISTMAS PADDY. Safe travels friend.
I enjoy watching your videos to see your reactions to your discoveries. I enjoy your natural demeanor and responses. Keep doing what you do and sharing yourself with us.

Like Bali the water flows though the holy Temple to be purified before it is used.

I like your views on everywhere. I do laugh when you talk about long days as I'm a truck driver where a 600 mile (965km) day is just another day
Great vid man. I watch to re live the old times. Live the dream. Enjoy. And keep these coming. Very entertaining and real.
I started watching your videos on Thailand as we’re here now and your info has been invaluable. I enjoyed the videos so have subscribed and will continue watching your adventures. 👌🏼

Merry Christmas !from the U.S.A!
Love to watch your video!!!!
