Considering Laos is land locked the water based adventures are endless and it looks a fantastic country to visit. This video has wonderfully captured its highlights in the perfect way. It seems insufficient to just say 'thank you' when there are many superlatives that could be used to describe the stunning beauty of Laos captured in your video. Well done Paddy for again delivering a masterpiece 👏👏👏👍
Your Vietnam videos were a big help to plan our December 2022 trip (we just returned). Now leaning towards Laos for this year and this was a brilliant intro to the country. Very saddened by the news of the dolphins. I was looking forward to that . Thanks again for all your wonderful content!
The Laos series overall was beautiful and interesting. Laos may be the only landlocked country in the region, but it has incredible waterfalls and rivers as well as mountains and views overall.
Once again, we are delighted we were able to have you on one of our temple tours in Luang Prabang to learn more about Buddhism in Laos! Safe journeys onward, Paddy!
Thank you PaddyDoyle, you showed the gems of Laos, you had a hard but amazing time and we could follow your ups and downs and at the end it was a fantastic journey !! I was lucky to visite most of this mesmerizing places a few years ago and i will definitlely go back to Laos one day.... Stay safe on your travels and will be with you - of course !! LOL ! 🤩Cheers ✌
Hi Paddy - Was thinking about a visit to Laos when I leave Vietnam to freshen my VN visa. Your video confirms this plan. Instead of dreading the border trip I can hardly wait!
Cool video PD! You can also fly from Thailand into Luang Prabang. I came back from there a few days ago, and didn’t want to leave LPB - I even cancelled my intended time in Vientiane (it was going to be on NYE) but couldn’t leave LBP that early! I was so in love with the area as soon as I landed. Only one night in Vientiane and I had to visit the COPE Visitor Centre, about the terrible bombing and bombs which still exist. Oh and right at the very top of the waterfall, there’s even a boat / raft which can take you 200 metres to the actual source of the water run itself. Cheers Paddy!
I have watched every video you have put out for years, I moved to Thailand 22 years ago from Boulder, Colorado, and think you are the very best thank you so much for your content, Peace, and Love
Paddy, thank you, a really good summary of your Laos adventures. You have a real talent of appearing to be talking one on one with every member of your audience. It is the highlight of my week to have a personal report from my "friend" Paddy's latest adventure. 👍👍
Hi Paddy This vlog does show of the best places in Lao to visit, but a few points I would like to add. First is the place with the floating cabins is called Muang Fuang. It is also important to check the weather for the time of year you are coming as for good part of the year during the rains, some of those activities are not operating.
Hiya, Paddy. That waterfall looked like a screensaver. Always epic footage. You always give me the inspiration to travel. Lovely round up. You were brave to do that paragliding. That is shocking about The Budgeteers channel. It is sad about the dolphins. Great video. Another great epic adventure you took us along. Thank you. I love your channel. Have a lovely weekend.
Really enjoyed this. It was put together really well, and very informative. You kept it positive and your footage really captures the magic so one can only imagine what it’s like in person. I’m more on the adventurous side, I prefer the off beaten path, and less crowded spots. Not sure if it’s the accent but your pronunciation is a little off but thats fine and to be expected, great job!
Awesome mate. Watched the whole series anyway but noted down a few spots now for a must visit to Laos this year! Northern Thailand beforehand so always referring to your videos there also :)
I adore your videos Paddy!!! It brings a smile to my face avert time a watch it. I love your life perspective in problem solving. I has affected my life in a positive way. I’m glad you exist 🫶🏻 Sending you love from west London/Brasil ❤
Thanks for your great videos and advices on the tour. I am actually going to Laos in middle of November flying in from Bangkok to Luang Prabang. Many of the spots are on my list and I am planning to visit the countryside and hopefully having some home stay experiences there. Your videos have been great inspiration to me 😊
So, after watching this video we had to go to Keng Khikhouay. It seemed so quiet and peaceful from your video. Organizing it was quite a journey, but we somehow managed to do it and were thinking that we’d get rewarded after all. The nature around the place was beautiful, like you said… but sadly, it was the only nice thing there… That place was a mess and this is an understatement. The other guests were raving and screaming day and night. The music was extremely loud, coming from every bungalow and even from small boats on the river. We escaped the second we could : another adventure .. we lost two days. We would have appreciated a more honest review.
If you watched the actual episode, he talked about one of the bungalows blasting music extremely loud which bothered him. He was only there for one night and can only speak to his own experience. Sounds like you got stuck with a loud group - everyone's experience is going to be different which he ALWAYS stresses in his videos.
Since you are flogging Nord you should hopefully be well aware Nord vpn doesnt stop you falling for a phishing email scam if you are going to simply reply to the scammers with your personal information, or go to their site and fill out everything they want to know. Its on you to not hand out your information just because you got an email asking for it. Nord can filter out some sites tho but ultimately its really up to you to not give your password out. Maybe a simple course in cyber security would be beneficial.
Enjoyed the first part of level 3 adventures mate, thanks for your best places 🙏 And on to 2023 and the second part of level 3, Cambodia 🥳 You know what comes next mate 😉 As always, C Ya in the next one, cheer Paddy 🙌🍻
I really enjoyed your videos on your travels through Laos. You made me laugh quite a few times. I am surprised how calm you appeared about losing your wallet. I would have been freaking out. Thanks for showing us some of the pitfalls that could happen.
Hello @PaddyDoyle, I loved your videos, thank you for your great tips 🤩 I have a small comment on placing titles (name of the spots) in the screen, if you place titles upper part of the screen, could be much easier to follow. Once they are in the bottom of the video, it covered by buttons of youtube, that makes difficult to see.🙂
Epic video Paddy! Saved it to watch it again when I am in full planning mode. Well done, as always. We are excited to be in Laos this Summer and again on our drive around the World. Keep up the adventure and we will keep watching. Hope you are enjoying our channel too, my friends. - Turtle
Thanks, Keng Khikhouay added to the todo list. I would suggest going to Phou Louey National Park as well, it's not really known, hence my video about it scores really bad 😂, but very nice Night Safari that can be done there. Also best to have a motorbike and do the Luang Prabang Loop (as I call it, or North-East Laos Loop).
Hi Paddy! I have been watching your videos day and night the past few weeks haha. Wanted to say you have a talent for videography and your personality is contangious. Myself and a friend are travelling round SouthEast Asia in the first 6 months of next year. The two of us travelled around Thailand (your second home) a little bit last year and loved it. Finished uni this week, so next 6 months currently working and saving up. I'm sure you know how it is. We are starting to plan the route and what not, and we have given only a week for Laos. We have decided to definitely visit the capital and Luang Prabang however with the time of 7-10 days, I was wondering what you would personally recomend if we had to choose between Nong Khawi and the Thakhek Loop. To give context, we are 21 and have little experience with motorbikes but do seek to travel on them (we both will have lisences at that time). If you could get back to me that would be incredible, however I also know your probably in the Apls right now, so totally understand. Best wishes and safe travels. Jack
Thanks for this.. Heading to Laos in a few days. Won't have a drone though. May get a motor bike but I'm getting on a bit for extensive riding like you, sigh. And yes, already use Nord :)
Heading there in a few weeks (currently in Mae Sariang and following your Thailand videos) so this is super helpful. I'll let you knoe if I find your wallet haha

I had no idea how stunning Laos is .Thanks for your time Paddy and capturing it in all it's glory 🙏

The Laos series overall was beautiful and interesting. Laos may be the only landlocked country in the region, but it has incredible waterfalls and rivers as well as mountains and views overall.
Went there about 9 years ago and it is exactly how I remember it. I do hope it stays untouched and quiet. The most peaceful place I’ve been to in SEA.
These recap videos are so nice. I can see myself using them to remind myself of places to go if I ever do take a trip! 😊
That's my plan 😌 plus people completely in the dark like I was before my trip can use this too 🤞
Thanks for the mention! The slow boat was definitely a vibe if you have the time to spare 🤗
No problem 😊
