THIS IS A IDEA I CAME UP FOR A CARVING CHAIR , LOOKING FOR FIRST IMPRESSIONS .. I WILL BE ADDING MORE HELPFUL DEVICES TO THE CHAIR , LIKE DOG HOLES ..

I think its fantastic. I like to sit backwards on "kitchen" chairs and this mimics that position

Cool... kinda like a vertical spoon mule. I like it.... looks like it could potentially be rough on "the jewels" if you sat down too fast though 😉😉😉😉

I commented on Facebook about the tenon sticking into your back. It wasn't meant to be a negative comment, more trying to understand, This makes a lot of sense. Carving Chair, I like it. I think I would extend the through tenon on the seat and put a wedge behind it to firm it up and remove the chance of the seat coming off while sitting on it. Maybe you already have a way to hold it firm. I like the out of the box thinking.

great idea... looks very functional. Not sure if you have them in the U.S. but in the UK we have shaving horses which have a foot operated clamp to hold the work in place

I love it.. I think you should call to Tactical carving chair. I think the only thing I would add would be easy beverage containment system..🙃
