    Lovely video again with amazing projects and tour fabric choices. I was planning on starting Sarah Moon but my boys were ill and stitching time went out the wondow. I have the Sarah Moon chart and the symbols chosen are awful! Mark-up R XP really didn't like the chart either for me so if i do start this in the future, i think it would be easier to use the hard copy 😂
    The last few months of pregnancy was so uncomfortable So hope you are doing ok x

      Omg markup HATES that pattern. The girls and I use it as well and they said they had to go in and manually select every single motif 😬🙈. Hope your kiddos feel better soon! Thank you for thinking of me! The last few months are definitely the hardest. I am trying my best but it’s just exhausting being that pregnant lol!

    Wow, Megan! I was so impressed by how pretty your WIP’s were, but then you showed your finished color-work sweater and the new one you are starting, I was just blown away! They’re so beautiful! Truly heirlooms for you and your family to enjoy for generations to come. Thank you for sharing them. ☺️ Prayers still being said for you and the little man! You know that God is holding you both in his hands! 🤲❤

I plan to start Dark Golden Delicious by the Artsy Housewife today, and I just got my Vicki Clayton silk pack for it yesterday, and I’m excited to begin. Keep on enjoying the Jingle Ball 🥰!

    Your knitting skills are so beautiful! I love seeing all your color block projects. Sadly it never gets cold enough for wool sweaters here 😢
    I was crocheting a Vincent Van Gogh amigurumi for my coworker while watching your video.
    You keep tempting me with that friendship quaker pattern! It looks amazing.

    I love your colourwork sweater finish! It looks fantastic. And I love your idea of knitting items oversized so anyone can wear them. I can remember Skeindeer talking about her family’s cabin in a video years ago and how there were just sweaters there for anyone to wear. I think I’ll have to start doing that myself. I knit Kosekofte when it was released and really enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to watching your progress too!

      I am absolutely obsessed with the idea of passing sweaters down. I really want to have a good little collection for my own family. I know not everyone will like them being in rustic wools but they just last forever. Can’t wait to get some more progress on that one. 🥰

    It is important to really READ a chart. I am met with huffs & puffs to that but I am not meaning to offend but of course we can read a chart but I have to study those symbols. Find the ones that are very close to one another-check; notice if there are more than black color, for instance a black symbol 'n' & a red one (& sometimes a blue one). etc. It can save frogging & grief & stress down the line. An important step we forget to mention. By the way, you are glowing. You are stunningly beautiful today. Sizzle on.

    • @TheSeattleStitcher
      @TheSeattleStitcher  Год назад

      This chart is in all black unfortunately and my pregnancy brain might let me down even after reading LOL! I totally agree. It’s good to take time and study the heck out of the pattern before starting when the symbols are tricky. It’s worth it to me though I love the chart so much! 🥰😍

    Love your sweater it is gorgeous! Just curious why is zweigart more affordable and which one is your favorite? Thanks for this tidbit, it can get so expensive to do some projects

    • @TheSeattleStitcher
      @TheSeattleStitcher  Год назад

      Zweigart is a brand that sells non mottled fabrics so since they are not hand dyed they are more cost effective. I love basic Antique white, Dirty Linen, and platinum. Those are a few colors I really enjoy. The weave is also not too tight since it is not dyed over again to created a hand dyed look. I really am loving using those more “simple” fabrics when I have a variegated floss too. 😍

    I’m so curious how many beanies your husband has. Since you knit new ones every year it must be a lot! Does he wear them all? It’s amazing to wear something with love stitched into it ❤️

    • @TheSeattleStitcher
      @TheSeattleStitcher  Год назад +2

      He wears one every day 🥰. Honestly I have no idea how many he has LOL! I actually toss the old ones every year or two so that’s why he gets so many new ones every fall winter. I feel lucky that he wears them and really appreciates them. I do need to knit him some fun ones. He loves color! I try to knit him the same gray or black ones every year though so he has a fresh set. He even wears them to the gym 🤣😵‍💫. They get nasty!

    Thanks for the referral to MO’s. I requested to join. That sweater is amazing! Any chance you would consider doing a quick tutorial on the simple beanie? I already ordered the Tehete yarn. I wasn’t sure if you used the 100% wool or the blend so… I ordered both in my sons fav colors. I’m def a visual learner. ☺️. Continued prayers for your precious boy! ❤️

      I love that idea! If I ever have time I will for sure put together a video. I’ll have to figure out a good set up to film my hands but that’s a great idea. I have used both the 100% wool and the wool nylon blend. The blend I find I can wash in the washing machine and the 100% wool I cannot. I love both!
