I always look forward to your flosstubes! Thank you for sharing. You come thru as a beautiful human being! Going thru all the medical tests, etc, can be excruciating. Love your loving and hopeful vibes! Our first born was born with a heart defect (43 years ago). We were blessed to have her for 10 mths. Our home was filled with love and a sweet Spirit! Now we feel we have a cheerleader rooting for us from above. Love and good wishes/thoughts your way. Xoxo

Unicorn....I would consider leaving your stitching in and chopping the pattern apart....shifting the woman and unicorn towards your stitching. Then you could do the rest of the flowers to fit.😊. You'll have a bigger border on the other sides..

Definitely continue stitching, your fabric is just beautiful! Have you thought about just adding and inch or two all the way around of twill tape? You said you have a least an inch of fabric all the way around for a border then use the twill for the lacing in the back to finish it off. Think about it. See if that might work for you?? Good luck

Hi, Megan!! It’s so good to see you again. Isn’t it amazing how our tastes and preferences change over time in our stitching journey? I have so many charts and things I bought when I first got back into stitching after many years away that are just not my taste any more. And that’s okay. My opinion on the Unicorn chart is to gift it or sell it to someone who would love to adopt it and stitch it. I’m so glad y’all had a great Christmas. I love the hats, especially the one with the yarn that Brijin gave you; what a gorgeous color! and that sweater, oh my gosh! So beautiful! Know that you and your family are in my heart and prayers. 💙
    Love you,

Hi Meline! I hope you had Ana amazing holiday season and happy new year. Thank you for being my friend I love you so much!!! I agree. It’s so wild how much my taste has changed in such a short time. I think I definitely take more time now to think do I actually want to stitch this or do I want to buy a print of it LOL. Some things are not worth all that time. Especially right now with how little of it I have. I’m thinking about keeping the kit for another year to see how I feel and part ways if I haven’t worked on it in 2024.

You are right Megan....if the artwork still calls you versus loving the stitch itself, you have options at least. But adding fabric for framing is a fabulous idea IF you still want to do the stitch. You already have enough money invested, don't invest any more time if it doesn't give you joy. Don't beat yourself up over progress...every stitch counts, girl and you are growing a new human! 😁 Have a fabulous January. --Meghan in Georgia

Not sure if I'd do two stands or one.... just another thought! Being half the finished size, you would probably have enough fabric to restart without having to frog. 🩷

I love the unicorn piece but I think that it will be out of proportion if you cut off the parts that you mentioned in this video. I don't think cropping an inch would look bad on the unicorn piece. But you could also plan on doing a wall hanging out of it which doesn't need much of a margin. I would probably use a hoop on that part instead of a q-snap on that edge portion.

Continue your Pick-a-WIP. I don't understand why you need to cut off anything. I have corrected margin errors in the past by sewing fabric bands on my piece. I have one current piece that I only have an 1" border all around. Except for the shallow border, the design fits the remnant fabric beautifully. I will leave my fabric bands in place when I lace the project onto the foam core for framing. As long as I bring the frame up to the stitching or 1/4 " away from the stitching, nobody will know that the fabric is pieced behind the scenes.
I kept thinking how wonderful the stitching for the unicorn piece would look as a journal cover. If your heart leads you to abandon the project, consider repurposing those beautiful stitches into something else.
