Jacob described that eagle on the 2022 SAL as "coat of arms of the province of Groningen: a black double-headed eagle bearing a heraldic shield." Yes, I love a lot of the new Carolyn Manning patterns. Happy stitching and enjoy your bonding time as a family!
Sounds like you are enjoying your time with your family while you are off work. The time goes so quickly. Hope you had a great Mother's Day. Loved your stitchy and knitting updates.
Just popping on to say that I’ve found your channel recently and I love your style and energy!! I feel like your projects are all so classy looking 😂💗 I’m a big knitter too so I love seeing that as well! Totally agree about Drops - such good yarn for a great price!! Anyway just wanted to send some love your way 🥰
Thank you for the great video. All your progress ❤ is so lovely. I love seeing people stitch the holiday stockings. Such fun heirlooms. You are an amazing person for creating gifts for your neighbors. That little sweater is adorable. Glad you and your family are doing well. Have a wonderful week!
You sound and look so happy❤❤ l am so glad life is treating you and family so well. You are a bright spot in my life and l cannot thank you enough. Continue to enjoy life.
I'm sure you already know about this but a good way to use those high res images of paintings is to plug them into pixelating programs to make your own full coverage pieces. I'm currently working on tweaking the colours of a favourite painting to make one myself. It's cool because you can tweak the size and amount of colours used, etc. Warning: addictive! And the amount of options is obviously unlimited, lol I'm using Pixel-Stitch btw - it's free!
I'm joining your Manning May after I get my order from 123Stitch. I'm doing the chart Bee Bouquet, it's so cute with lots of flowers and bees. I'm going to use called for fabric and floss.
I plan on going to that needlepoint shop when I come down later this month for surgery. Definitely bringing cross stitching with me for something to do.
Good morning, sweet friend! Girl, your mom looks like she should be on a Cover Girl commercial! So gorgeous! Please pass along Happy Birthday wishes from me. 🥰 I love your color conversion on Librarian’s House…I look forward to seeing your progress on that. And your start on the Carolyn Manning project is so pretty. I didn’t know there was such a thing as 20 count Aida…I have to check that out! Oh my GOSH, the sweater is BEAUTIFUL!! Truly an heirloom piece…I know your neighbor will treasure it. 💗 Keep on enjoying your time at home, and thank you for sharing your joy with us! Much love, Meline
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Isn’t she just stunning. I love my mom so much. I hope you give it a try! I really have enjoyed the 20ct and the stitches look so small and perfect. I think it will be fun for some smalls. I kinda want to make some fridge magnets so tiny Aida is perfect. Maybe even over 1 on 32ct linen. I hope she likes it when it’s finished it’s been so fun to knit tho. I’m not too precious with gifts I don’t mind if they never get used I just have so much fun making the stuff ya know. I hope I get little pictures of her in it tho haha that would be SO cute. Hope you’re doing well and thanks for catching up with me through the week. Love you so much Meline!! You’re the best 💖
I love the bonding leave for mothers. Do fathers qualify too? I have never heard of this. I also love Stitching by the Shore; she is such a sweetheart. Like her, light blue is my choice for a neutral fabric. However, I just finished Time for God by Lizzie Kate on 14 count Oaken, and I love it. I just shared the finish on our flosstube.-Angie
It depends on the state you live in actually so I’m not sure. A lot of states have it where it’s not job secure so if you take extra leave you can get fired without reason. I’ll have to go watch because I love Lizzie Kate stuff. So cute!
Love your videos and all your projects. You mention the project bags you purchased from Amazon. There are so many bags so could you list your favorite ones. Thanks
Fun episode, Megan. Love to see what you are stitching. Isn't it fun to do your daughter's hair. I used to do both my girl's hair when they were young. Now they are 30 & 32. No more hair doing. Picked up a Carolyn Manning small to join along with you in Manning May. It is my first Manning. Looks like fun.
Hi Megan Love all of your WIPS - Very Pretty - Beautiful Stitching Love The Sweater - so pretty. Your Daughter is so cute and adorable - Your Baby Boy is so cute and so adorable - awwww. Take Care & Happy Stitching - Knitting ❤️🤗🙏🧵🦯🧵❤️
I’m glad to see that you are enjoying your extra time off. Bonding time is awesome! It allows time off once you have recovered. Have you ever heard of or tried Valdani floss? It was the suggested floss for the set of 2 Manning pieces I purchased. (Seaside Cottage) I decided to try it but have never seen anyone I follow mention it before. I don’t see the eagles in your piece either ….
Yes I have I actually have it in two projects one that’s just kitted up a rosewood manor autumn Quaker and I started the summer one with the valdani flosses too. They are so pretty! I enjoyed working with them. Being on spools I moved them to Flossdrops but I love the affect. The colors are beautifully variegated on both the sets I got for those pieces.
Love your videos and your WIPS. I just tonight finished my very first dimensions kit. It's not a stocking; it's a dimensions gold petite called Moonlit Cabin. It is beautiful (even though I made tons of mistakes) but it was NO joke!
I am so curious how the stocking will go for me. Lol my husband just bought me another one that I had in the Amazon cart so I’m really committed now. 😂😅
Omg please send pictures of whatever pattern you decide on if you do like any. Ya know what, I honestly didn’t see it either at first. I think these recent releases have really been up my alley tho. I love her Halloween stuff too so cute.
Thanks Megan 🎉 I’m back to stitching after many years. I live in Gig Harbor and have been debating on driving the Treadneedle. Do they have a lot of linen?
She does! I just went last weekend and her stock is great right now. Especially picture this plus and every color of zweigart you could want. Great options in every count too. Denise the owner is such a sweet person too you’ll just love her. It’s impossible not to get along with that lady! Also, I love your name! My mom’s name is Cindy and so I always think everyone named Cindy will obviously be as cool as her. LOL 🥰💖
Great Video and have got your shortie video for the first time . Knitting question bed socks have you made and ever in cashmere or angora something soft for bed only. Any advice.
I haven’t but I imagine even if they are just for bed they won’t last long. I think naturally you would still wear them walking to and from the bathroom or walking around briefly and they would wear down very fast. The twist in sock yarn is really what makes them so strong and last years and years. I say go for it but don’t expect them to last long. Another option is to knit at a really tight gage. That makes it where the stitches have less room to rub against one another and wear down less. 💖💖
@@TheSeattleStitcher I told my sister no walking to bathroom, wear slippers, nothing. Yarn is no cheap so what alternative yarn. For bed ,so soft. alpaca?.

@TheSeattleStitcher Your Manning that you bought the 14 count aida for. I really like the Prairie pattern. My new LNS that is closer also sells the Morgan hoop. I'm thinking about getting one to try on this project if I can figure out where to start it. They just look over whelming.

Idk what it is I love a lot of the patterns but the colors just aren’t me.
