Enjoyed your floss tube! Your stitch for Liz Matthew is beautiful! How exciting to be going to Nashville market! Enjoyed seeing your WIPS! Happy stitching!🧵🪡
🧵 Thx for the video. You’ve got your work cut out for you. As always beautiful stitching. Congrats on going to market. I’m sure you’ll have a blast! And 90 books! My gosh! You go girl!
🧵Great video! You have a good plan for 2024! I am stitching a Blessing Sampler this year for the first time. I am stitching Ellen Johnson 1883 by GigiR. Happy stitching!
I have Olga in my stash too to start one day - I saw it at a shop and the owner had put her cat's names instead of the alphabet and she also did it over one. that is why I bought it as we've had several cats that are near and dear to our hearts that have passed on now.
Just found your floss tube. You do beautiful work! My word for the year is "Purposeful". As I am entering the empty nesting stage of life, it is time to purge all the "things" collected after 35 years. Unless I truly love a stitch and have a place for it in my home, I am not going to stitch it. I have many projects from the past and unless it fits into my current life, I am letting it go. Enjoy your time at market this year!🧵
🧵🧵I started watching your podcasts recently and you’ve inspired me to get back into cross stitching. I stitched for years both cross stitch and needlepoint, but then picked up knitting and crocheting and that took up most of my time. I’ve begun doing some cross stitching and needlepoint again and trying to work in all the crafts that I love to do.
Thank you! I'm so excited you're getting back into stitching! I love rotating crafts (although I haven't knit or sewed in a while lol), I think it keeps things fresh and exciting!
Happy New Year! Loved seeing all your projects and your beautiful finishes. I always love hearing about stitchy plans, and it was great to see your monthly goals dashboard 😍 hope you have a great time at Market! 🧵📚
🧵I am so excited for you going to Market with Liz. Can 't wait to hear about your adventure. Olga is on my list to start, but first there has to be some FFOing going on. Happy Stitching 🪡 Absolutely love your black cat mug.
Liked your floss tube episode. Watching floss tubes can be dangerous- I already have a lot of projects lined up, but watching what you’re working on makes me want to add more! I couldn’t find a spool of thread emoji, but I did find a needle- even though it’s the wrong type of needle! 💉
🧵😊❤️ I'm also half way through Iron Flame (audiobook version) and feel the same way you do! 😲😳🫣 Love your stitching and your plans/goals. Great job on the model stitch and 1st Day of Christmas!!!! ❤
Such fun stitching plans for the new year! I have a few new starts, mostly SALs that will take up most of my stitching time. I have Iron Flame queued up on my Kindle as my next read for this month. Always enjoy your stitching and the book info. 🧵 Happy stitching!
Cracking 30-33 C on the daily right now here in Christchurch NZ, love it! You reminded me that a few years back i re-read the Narnia books as The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe was my “Percy Jackson” back in the day. I got a paperback of it when I was 8 ish from Scholastic Book club and demolished it over and over…. Good times…. Take care, Nic x
🧵🪡 Happy New Year! Congratulations on your finishes. I am overwhelmed with your plans plus their documentation on how you will achieve them. Happy Stitching from South Carolina, ann
I’m currently re-reading Anne of Green Gables-definite childhood core memory. Absolutely LOVED the original movie (we don’t discuss the Netflix series in our house). Good plan to re-read faves to get back into reading. Have a blast at Market!
I really enjoyed getting caught up on your stitching. 🧵 I am stitching the Valentine Quaker in pink here on the North Oregon coast. Love hearing your book reviews, too.
Love your podcast and your stitching. I am IN for PINK stitching in February. I have 3 wips on pink fabric and on using pink floss (the pink house on Winter Rose Manor).
Love your organization! I have gotten better this year by using Lori S. Stitching Planner. I always kept sheets in binders but never kept many details, so the book is easier to handle. The WIP I am currently spending a lot of time on is a new start called In Friendship: A Quaker Style Sampler by Jacob of MFE. It was an exclusive at the Jacob-Palooza retreat I attended in London, Ontario, Canada held by Caroline of Evertotes, Roxy Flossco and Jacob. You are definitely an influencer when it comes to stitching and I love your work!
*spool* I always have fun watching you. You have many great things on the go. And the books, I agree with you. I was a bit too old to be Percy's generation, but my brother was, and I read them maybe three years ago now and I looove them. They do hold up. And the show is very nice too
🧵 Happy New Year!! I’m newish here. I’ve heard of you before but found you with your 2023 WIP parade and I’m here to stay. Love your videos so far and your stitching is immaculate!!! I’m in Arlington TX so we’re neighbors. I’m learning a lot from you about the DFW area so thanks for that too!!
Love seeing your plans/progress! I am working on a small model for Sambrie Stitches while I listen to you :D Can't wait to see more of your progress, I thought the day 1 of christmas looked so cute and fabulous on the 46 count! Take care!🧵
Have fun at market and Happy New Year, what a great way to start with such exciting plans. Just finished Christmas Delivery from cottage garden, not sure what to start next, so many to choose from, have more cottage garden or the salt box houses, or so many others lol. Happy Stitching!
I am a baby boomer and I just finished reading Percy Jackson with my grade school age grandchildren in Video chat and even us old 'arts can appreciate the adventures of Percy Jackson. Next we are on to re-reading Harry Potter with that group. This will be my forth or fifth time through the series, but with 9 grandkids ages 4 - 21 there are often overlaps in appropriate reading material for our cyber story time. I have some Fancy Nancy, The Million Dollar Race, Daddy Long Legs, and Jane Eyre in my near future also re-reads for me. The oldest is graduating from University this year and we continue our chats with an adult book club so I do get to read some current things also 😉 We just finished Fourth Wing and are starting Iron Flame now. Never feel you must justify what you are reading. The act of reading alone says it all. Congratulations on your finishes. They are lovely. I have ignored the Prairie Schooler Santas since they first started showing up in the LNS. Now I have a use for them and am working on getting through all 39 this year. I'm working on 1986 tonight while you entertained me.
Hi, Brijin! Girl, your stitching was on fire 🔥 this month! And congratulations on being invited to Nashville Market with Liz Matthews…that should be an amazing trip for sure. Your model stitch was just stunning. Your remembrance of reading The Titan’s Curse when you were a kid was so endearing, thanks for sharing that! ☺️ Hope you’re feeling better soon! 🧵🧵💙 Meline
🧵 Trying to remember to comment more since I watch primarily on my TV 😂 Spent your video fighting with tangled yarn but loved all your progress. I should really read the Percy Jackson books, my husband loved them. I like to reread Tamora Pierce novels when I want that childhood nostalgia kick. Hope you hit the rest of your January goals 💜
🧵Happy New Year. I tried a 12 hour stitch on New Year's. I ended up stitching 4 hours on one project & 2 hours on another. Not too bad. Your 12 hour stitching is fantastic. It used to be (probably 14 ct) that you could complete a square inch of stitching in an hour.
I enjoyed following your 12x12 progress! Oh yikes... earn your starts??! I do not have the self control! LOL I loved seeing the round robin pieces... I had to watch those sections twice! 🧵Thank you for the fun video!
Your model finish is beautiful! Well done! How exciting you get to go to the Nashville Market in March...so exciting! Love seeing all your projects and progress. 🧵
Seriously didn’t think I could like you any more and then I got to your book chat 😍🥹the new show has me re-reading this now…as an elder millennial. Crescent city is on my TBR shelf.
Girl! Teach me your organizational ways!! Okay…that’s weird. I type this and then you explain Notions…I’m going to check that out, but I want to know about your stitch counting too!
Hi Brijin! I caught your WIP parade and now a happy subscriber:-) you have an amazing style and your stitching is beautiful. Love the book section. Keep it up! Also looked up Notion and might give that a try. I’m not very good at keeping a planner or book of days so we will see
So I have a Carolyn Manning in the quilt block series that has a bunch of pink, so I will be joining you for pink February.📕 it was part of my 12 x 12 starts on New Year’s Eve anyway so all good
🧵I am currently reading “Cross Stitch” by Jazmina Barrrera. It is friendship novel with an embroidery backdrop. Percy Jackson series is wonderful , tho I haven’t completed them.
Wow, what a breath of fresh air you are! Gorgeous stitching. How wonderful for you going with the Liz to Market, can’t wait to hear all about it. I don’t know what the thread emoji means but here it is 🧵!
🧵 I'm a psych triller/horror reader, but I still thoroughly enjoy hearing ur reading adventures!! Congrats on ur finishes and wip progress! LOVE that sapphire fabric! Lucifur 🐈 says hi, she's a good bookmark while i read to keep me from losing my place 😂🪡❤️
You do beautiful work. I very much enjoy watching your videos. Would you mind sharing the colors you used on good intentions that is behind you on the fireplace? I love your colors.
Thank you! If you check out my instagram, I have a post with the fancy floss colors I used for the accent colors in the post, or shoot me an email or DM on Instagram and I'll send you the photo of my conversion! Unfortunately I can't share pictures in youtube replies!
🧵I hope you feel better soon. I love rereading something to get me out of a reading slump. I enjoyed hearing about your goals and how you set them. Right now, I'm just picking up the first thing that calls to me when I walk into my craft room. Are you doing any quilting anymore?
So glad you're going to be starting Blackberry House! That was one of my most favorite stitches ever. And the Saltboxes! :) I love all your plans - planning is almost as fun as the actual stitching, isn't it? Looking forward to your next update! 🧵❤
Hi again! I enjoyed seeing all of your cross stitch you have started and / or working on. Everything is beautiful. I love your project bags, so pretty. What's the name of the cross stitch behind you, the house? Love it. Hope to see you again soon. I couldn't find the thread spool, but I did watch all of your video.
Thank you! It's Miss Bingley's Library by Plum Street Samplers with a couple modifications I made! If you want more details I think I finished it in July, so it should be in the thumbnails of a couple summer videos!
As a Gen X with Gen Z kids I can relate to your comments on Percy Jackson - my kids loved both Harry Potter and Percy Jackson (and all of Rick Riordan’s books). Although my youngest is not as thrilled as you are with the Annabeth in the new series - I haven’t seen it but I’ve definitely heard his complaints 😂. Love your video updates, worked on Christmas Magic by Little Robin Designs during your video. Very close to a finish.
What a great idea to re-read something nostalgic from our childhood. I immediately thought of the book The Ship that Flew by Hilda Lewis. I remember hunting through the teen-ish books when I was a kid and finding this gem right next to the Narnia books because of the author's last name being the same. It is such a great read that now I need to get a copy for my library asap! Too bad I didn't think of this when my now adult kids were younger because I doubt I can talk them into reading it now. Also, I like your idea to organize my projects in the notions app. I think I will give it a try or perhaps in a similar app. Thanks for WIP parade! Happy stitching! 🧵
🧵 Brijin (gosh I hope I spelled your name right!!) you have done some fantastic work! Holy cow!! I’m working on Lunar Climate Chart 2024 from Forbidden Fiber Co. I’ve been keeping up with it every day! Great start for me!! My other new starts in 2024 have not gone as well… it’s only January, though! It WILL get better! I’m also reading “Murtaugh” by Christopher Paolini. He wrote the Inheritance Cycle (Eragon, Eldest, Brisinger, Inheritance). This book has been described as a stand alone, however, if you haven’t read the other 4 there will be gaps. Once I’m done with this one I’m going back and re-reading the whole series… we are chilly up here in Seattle. I’m trying to be patient for the time when daylight is far longer and the days far warmer, lol… see you in a few weeks!
Ohhh your model stitch is so beautiful! That blue … 🤤 🧵 I too am just over half way with Iron and Flame 🔥🐉 hefty in so many ways! Are you a monogamous reader? Thanks for sharing your journey!
You know, I hadn't thought about it until now but I guess I mostly am! Usually one book at a time, or two if they're different formats like one ebook and one audio!
I'd love to join you in the Pink February. Do you have a hashtag for it or are you going to use one?? Love all the projects. I'm a big MFE fan myself. I also live in East Texas, and I hope the rain isn't flooding you guys out! 🧵
🧵 I’m currently reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, thanks to your recommendation, it’s so good and the story is nothing like what I was expecting it to be.
I love the pieces you chose to stitch. Your work is beautiful. Enjoy your presentation.😊
Enjoyed your floss tube! Your stitch for Liz Matthew is beautiful! How exciting to be going to Nashville market! Enjoyed seeing your WIPS! Happy stitching!🧵🪡

🧵 Hi, Brijin! I am re-reading HP books right now and You have enabled me to re-read PJ books😂 Loved your stitching update too❤❤
I have Olga in my stash too to start one day - I saw it at a shop and the owner had put her cat's names instead of the alphabet and she also did it over one. that is why I bought it as we've had several cats that are near and dear to our hearts that have passed on now.
Okay that's an adorable idea!! When you finish yours I'd love to see how the names look in there!
I love watching your flosstubes! Beautiful stitching. 🧵🧵🪡

Stitching Ann McFarland 1827. Very unique sampler. Finishing the book The Housemaid. Yes I was late to the party on that book! 🧵 Have a great week
Oh that chart is absolutely stunning! I've heard great things about the Housemaid!
🧵 Have a great week!
🧵Cute mug! I watched the old BBC Narnia series this Christmas, and now I want to reread the books.
That's a great one to reread! I read those pretty recently again in college for a class and I loved it!
I love the Percy Jackson books!! One of my favorites! Still haven’t watched the new show but will be watching soon!!

Ok, so I love your stitching, but had to say that color is just gorgeous on you! So great to meet you last weekend. :)

Thank you! She did an amazing job picking out that fabric!
Looking forward to your next update! 🧵❤
🧵 I really enjoyed your video. All your projects are beautiful!
Thank you!
I’m currently re-reading Anne of Green Gables-definite childhood core memory. Absolutely LOVED the original movie (we don’t discuss the Netflix series in our house). Good plan to re-read faves to get back into reading. Have a blast at Market!
I need to re-read those, I think it's been a solid 10-15 years since I've read those but I used to love them!
I really enjoyed getting caught up on your stitching. 🧵 I am stitching the Valentine Quaker in pink here on the North Oregon coast. Love hearing your book reviews, too.
I need a pink quaker piece here soon!!
Love your podcast and your stitching. I am IN for PINK stitching in February. I have 3 wips on pink fabric and on using pink floss (the pink house on Winter Rose Manor).
Yes!! I'm so excited for it, I just made my list of 4 projects I want to work on for the month and I'm itching to start working on them!
Love your videos. Such pretty fabrics

Hi neighbor! Have you checked out the Stitch Niche in Arlington yet? They've got some great stitchy goodies!
Yes I have. They are actually right down a couple of streets from me. But thanks for The heads up just in case!!
🧵 I have a book goal to read 12 classics this year. Your stitch for Hello by Liz Matthew’s is lovely.
That's a great goal! I definitely need to sprinkle a few classics into my routine too!
🧵 it’s fun to find these emojis! 😂
38:38 🧵I just finished The Fox yesterday! It was so much fun except for the trees!

I love that! I also have some pretty strong memories of shelf surfing at the library!
You got it right! I loved the Eragon books as a kid, I'll definitely have to check that one out!
We actually just finalized our hashtag today! It's gonna be #pinkfebruarystitching and we're all so excited about it!
🧵 I’m currently reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, thanks to your recommendation, it’s so good and the story is nothing like what I was expecting it to be.
Omg yay!! I'm so glad you're loving it, that one's up there in my top faves of all time!
🧵 hi!! Love the PJ reread! If you are looking for an interesting Greek retelling try Medusa’s Sisters by Lauren JA Bear.
Oooh I'm definitely going to look that one up, thank you!
