I think it is. Nice void in there. Just needs something thought up to hold the mini in place plus batteries and cables. Maybe even filters ?
I also have one of these and I tell ya, it makes the experience when flying your camera drone much better, especially with the awesome lens that it has. Great video my friend. Stay warm out there!

Sure is a good accessory
First off, great channel. Using a Mavic 3 for this would be a little risky from a cost perspective. If you make a mistake, it's going to cost you a small fortune to fix the Mavic 3. I have the Mini 2 and love this drone. It's "relatively" cheap to get into FPV with the MagiMask. If you crash, it's not going to break the bank fixing it or buying another one. My MagiMask is coming in a few days and I'm very much looking forward to trying it out on my Mini 2. Again, great channel. You are in the top three drone channels out there for real honest and knowledgeable content. Thanks for all your hard work in helping us all out here!

Being in your car cuts the drone signal strength in half. Meaning the 800-2200m you can get sometimes is likely to turn into 400-600m max range. If you never head out that far.... no problems... keep warm.... have a coffee

$169.00...Lol...i did the same a few years ago with the old Parrot Bebop 3.0 and Onn $10.00 VRs and without the need of using a cable because the Bebob connect to the free fly app via wifi and the Parrot fly pad controller connect to the app via bluetooth and believe me it work very well...those cheaps Onn can do the same for the mini 2 but obviusly connected with a cable....i think they are overpricing those magimask.

After seeing a few reviews last week I had to order one. Mine came yesterday. Well impressed. I think someone should 3d print a base that will sit in front of the lens were the phone sits to protect it and sit the mini 2 inside for transport. I’ve tried it and there is plenty of room for the mini plus spare batteries. Just a thought. 👍🏼

That looks brilliant. Probably take me a bit of getting used to. FPV looks extremely difficult. Im still trying to get the hang of up, down, forwards, and backwards 😄. Thanks for advice on those gloves. Got mine on Friday and they are well toasty.

The biggest difference between the $20 mask-goggles and these are I can see the entire screen on these. I can only see about 2/3 of the cheap type. Plus they are just a fun way to fly.

I've watched a lot of your videos and as such you've become a trusted source for me. I have to say that I've seen a pile of videos over the last week or two about these MagiMASK headsets. I have to assume that MagiMASK sent out a bunch of pre Christmas samples to reviewers. Just about every review has been overwhelmingly positive with virtually no negatives (so that makes me a bit suspicious). Seeing your review gives me a bit more confidence in the product. I am an FPV pilot and have been for years so a product like this one would most certainly enable me to capture better shots with my Mini 2. At $49 this would be a no brainer, at $99 this would probably still be a buy (given that the quality seems better than the budget options, at $169 I am not sure...it seems a bit pricey. On one hand it is cheaper than buying a good tablet if you find your phone screen hard to see/too small, on the other hand it is some cleverly assembled material and a Fresnel lens....much like the early DIY FPV box goggles where you had to add your own screen and electronics. I'm still on the fence but I am beginning to consider asking the accountant for a budget exception :-) Now that MagiMASK has gotten the word out a nice sale might really accelerate some Christmas business for them :-). BTW: If that's a BetaFPV 95x v3 you are showing I have put one under my tree for myself this year!
Hey, so it’s the best quality VR mask I’ve worn expect DJI goggles or PlayStation vr, I’m with you on price , around $120 would of been better price but quality wise it’s decent. Yes that’s the fpv drone! Super fast and responsive, I need to get a charger tho for the batteries as it doesn’t come with it
That looks awesome, I was having a go with my friends Nazgul Evoque 5" I will admit I crashed it like straight away flying VLOS, but when I used his fat shark's I managed to get a few minutes flight in before crashing again lol his quad is fine tho, but it's a beast, These here might help me learn how to fly properly in acro, because I really want to get into FPV freestyle. Anyway Good Job, 👊💯
I guess I never really thought of doing that with the Mini 2. I might just have to try that. As for the warm beverage I'll take one also! Wake up weather was 3ﾟ Fahrenheit. Trying to get used to the cold weather as I will be filming ice racing on the Wisconsin lakes. Really can't wait to try it out.

this is one of the coolest accessories I've seen in a while, man... Mike from Get Busy Living reviewed these last week and I immediately put them on the Amazon list.... lol The playing cards must be so you can play a game of go fish with your spotter when you're charging the batteries, eh? haha Oh and Kristi said I could get one... Only caveat is I have to sell something of equal or greater value... Not a bad deal, eh? lol

Sorry that's insanely expensive for an eye mask with plastic windows. I get that's it's "high build quality" but USD$165 is crazy for a mask that uses your phone.

I’m not sure how you fair using such goggles as CAA regulations dictate that you should be able to see your drone with the naked eye. My friend flies FPV and loves it, he really cannot get on with flying cinematic drones. I must say, I quite fancy trying the whole FPV thing.
It’s a challenge as it’s a whole different way of flying but super fun once you get the hang of it
How does it work if you have glasses? Like I have glass with bifocals

How is the depth perception? That’s always my biggest problem with my mini 2. Not knowing how close I am to an object when I can’t see the drone’s proximity to the object
Yeah it’s pretty much exact the same, kind of increases as you don’t have any distractions with it being directly in front on your eyes
Heck there must have been a lot of these given away to reviewers but you can get a set for £10 on ebay
you can get cheaper sets but the glass is often rubbish and not comfy which is the difference in price buddy

I found a solution for that! i have a movie mask, and i use two cell phones, one on the controller i mirror the image to the other cell phone in glasses

Sadly FPV goggles for me result in almost immediate motion sickness and wouldn't take long to generate vomit :-( Those look like really good ones for those that can utilize them!
Yes if you don’t get motion sickness then VR and goggles are fab. The DJI Fpv goggles a lot say the same, does it help if you sit down ?
@@DMProductions Standing/sitting doesn't matter for me, sitting may be slightly worse. On the upside I do have cat like balance which has served me well for many years of competitive (amateur) cycling :-)
