I totally agree on reading series over the winter, it feels like the right time to dive deep into a fantasy world. I opted to read the Grishaverse books, starting with Shadow and Bone, which I have never read! I am starting now though, I think I had enough Christmas romcoms for this year lol

I'm still in my Christmas rom coms mood right now, but I'm sure that'll be wrapping up soon haha. I love Six of Crows from the Grishaverse!

Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow was the first book I read this year and I totally agree with it being a great winter book. Currently reading ToG for the first time and I’m super excited about it! And of course HP is a fantastic winter series. Love all your recommendations and I’ve been loving this Bookmas series!

Since you've read ToG before it doesn't reaaally matter when you read Assassin's Blade, but I suggest between Crown of Midnight and Heir of Fire for maximum emotional impact

Maximum emotional impact is exactly what I'm going for

So glad you talked about TOG. I’m really struggling to get through because of the writing, but my friend is begging me to at least get to hear of fire.

I feel this - the first two books were a STRUGGLE for me. I’m not actually looking forward to reading them again haha. But I will throw my name in the hat as well - it gets SOOOO good in the later books. Definitely worth it to push through in my opinion. Her writing greatly improves.

I'm sure if I read Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow, I'm just gonna be singing Hamilton non-stop 😂 (in reference to Take a Break from Hamilton)
