After 13 years, AAI2 is _finally_ getting a localization, meaning every game is now in English. I want to thank the fan translation for allowing us to experience this fantastic game for the last decade. It’s one of my favorite games of all time, and I’m absolutely going to buy this collection as I want to thank Capcom for finally translating it. Now, it’s time to welcome the official names for the AAI2 characters. Hello to Eddie Fender, Verity Gavèlle, and Eustace Winner. In addition, AAI2 officially has the subtitle of Prosecutor’s Gambit, which might be a subtle nod to the fan translation’s subtitle of Prosecutor’s Path. Remember that _Gyakuten Kenji 2_ does not have a subtitle in Japanese, so the fact that Capcom went out of their way to add a subtitle in English that’s similar to the fan translation is cool.
Funnily enough, this is wouldn't be the first time an official translation for Ace Attorney has referenced a fan-translation. Before the official translation of Trials and Tribulations in English, there was a fan-translation of the GBA versions first case (which I remember playing actually) in that version, Phoenix's infamous then girlfriend was called Dolores Willow with Phoenix having the nickname "Dolly" for her. In the official translation she was given the name Dahlia Hawthorne, with the same nickname. This was an intentional nod to the fan-translation admitted to by the localizer.
While they probably couldn't just straight up call it "Prosecutor's Path" for legal reasons, I'm happy with "Gambit" as a substitute. It plays into the chess motif.
I was expecting the investigations announcement because I watched the direct a few hours late after seeing the news on the ace attorney subreddit… I got an even better present 5 seconds later. Based Kodaka

As soon as I saw Ruri’s art style and heard some beats in the BGM, I knew we were so back! This is the game Kodaka and Uchikoshi have been working on together and it looks amazing so far!

The Mario & Luigi game series is one where the relationship/bond between the brothers gets shown off. As they care greatly about each other. So if you were to do an LP of a game in the Mario & Luigi series, don't have Mario be an ass to Luigi. After all, that should be exclusive to the LPs of the Paper Mario games.
You say all that yet the first game has a lot of moments where the brothers can bully each other if they don’t know moves too early or in the case of Mini-Mario and High Jump have the right moves accordingly (and get paid to do it too). But no, they do have that strong brotherly love despite those moments.

So I watched the Direct and when the AAI collection was announced I thought “Nico was absolutely screaming in happiness right now“ and had to rush to Twitch to watch the stream VOD. Was not disappointed. His AAI2 LP is how I found the channel.

Okay, this new Too Kyo Games project looks fantastic! So far, though, I can only see Kodaka's style in the trailer, not much from Uchikoshi... maybe this game will have some sort of branching timelines that they haven't shown yet? That would be cool.
While several things looked really interesting (Defense Academy, Mario and Luigi), I'm personally a bit disappointed that there was no DLC for Pikmin 4

Nintendo had a lot of stuff saved for the end of the Switch, I couldn't believe the Mario and Luigi series AND Metroid Prime 4 were announced, I seriously gave up on both.

Nico, if you play the Mario and Luigi games, please please PLEASE play them in order. Don't just skip to Bowser's Inside Story! I know it's the best one, but unlike Paper Mario, Mario and Luigi has continuity. Also, play the remake of Superstar Saga, but when you get to Bowser's Inside Story, PLAY THE ORIGINAL
