If you’re depending on a rookie to provide your team with toughness in the playoffs, you’ve already lost.
That is subjective. Since we are expressing opinions, mine is that because rempe is a rookie the crowd is relying on him to do his part. And because NYR aren’t necessarily an aggressive and enforcing type of team, Rempe is going to be expected to step up since some players are recovering from the blatant dirty hits by Florida

Rempe can’t even get a regular shift…not even close. The game play against the panthers is so tight with very little time and the margin of error is razor thin. He played 2:43 last night. If the pace was a little slower, maybe you could get him out there more but at this point, for a guy who’s basically an agitator, the risk/reward factor is not in his favor.
They are mis using him. I would play him only in games when Rangers are "behind", or at home only. The more they play him, the more Panthers will get used to him.

Rempe is an enforcer not a sniper. He bangs the puck in when he’s in the right place at the right time but ultimately he’s there to put opposing players out of position. Which is why he is still a plus 2 in +/- in the postseason

Over the series, the panthers dominated time of possession, offensive zone time, shots on goal, had more goals on power plays, took fewer penalties -- and WON more games.
But, don't believe your eyes, blame the officials, blame a post game poke by a Panther on Rempe ignoring that Rempe had that coming.

How is anyone getting "2 and 2" for something that doesnt occur during the game? That's either a fine/suspension or nothing, no minutes are given after the game

And they call a penalty 1 min into overtime. But with 4 mins left in the 3rd, 2 Rangers were trip and the play by play said they won't call that late in the game.

They have gotten better, but still need more size and grit. That’s how you compete for the cup. Every recent Stanley Cup champ, is physical and has size.

Rempe is so far from impressive to me. Terrible stats for his position, has about as many penalty minutes as time on ice, and comes across as an annoying, cocky kid that was gifted a formidable body size. Feel free to disagree, but I'm so glad he's not on my team. They don't really need a goon that doesn't get the job done.
Like it or not that’s his role. And if you knew anything about hockey you know you have to be aggressive. He’s 6’7” tall. Those players aren’t fast but can steal the puck and put opposing players out of position. It’s called a “strategy”. This is the playoffs. Unless something like that happens, the refs are most likely not going to penalize that behavior, including the stick hit on Rempe. There are way worse calls than that in the PO's (such as when they were allowed the goal against Bruins in Game 5 when it was clear goalie interference).

Before his game winning shot in OT, Reinhart had at least 3 cheap shots including the hit on Lindgren...and again, no penalty and no beat down.
And the last Rangers power play occurred immediately after the rangers hooked down an attacking Panther. The hook to the Panthers was ignored, and then called against the Panthers immediately after for a far less flagrant hook. If you care to look, the Rangers are getting away with a ton of penalties that are not being called.
