      Sorry, I do not speak English this video is from Goju Ryu, but these blocking exist in other style like Shotokan, Kyokushin see here videotecate.blogspot.com.br/2017/08/uke-geri.html

      Great, I congratulate you! You have to be incredibly good, a true master; o)
      After three decades, I still can not (with an unconventional opponent) ... with a Karateka no problem, but use nothing.
      Important: I only speak for myself and my experiences!

      scbullit04 Blocks like these are used all the time in Muay Thai, at least against kicks. Against punches it seems like a waste of energy tho.
