Just love you two, such a lovely and caring couple. No drama no click bait. I know you mentioned starting a new job Stacey so don't know if you will want to do this full time one day but please don't ever change! It's a shame that having clickbait seems to get people further nowadays. Can't wait to see your whole trip
Oh gosh! We don't like any drama we just want an easy life lol, we're just grateful to get to go away somewhere 😁. When we're not busy travelling or working we just enjoy spending time together or with friends. 100% drama free haha 🤣
I popped my cruise cherry at the same time as you guys and been following all your vlogs ever since. Love sharing your adventures and love how your vlogs are the perfect mix of informative and fun. Looking forward to this next adventure around America with you both. Make amazing memories ❤
Arrr thanks so much Danielle, really appreciate it
25 mins is about the norm… very efficient service. I regularly use the 0800 Dublin flight connecting onto 105 to jfk with an under 2 hour connection and have never had an issue. Dublin is such an efficient airport
I loved Washington DC. Was great seeing all the landmarks that I had seen many a time in programmes & films. Thank you for taking us on your adventures 😊
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed Washington D.C. too 😀
Have the most amazing time ❤
Can’t wait to see the rest of your adventure!
Many thanks for the reply Stacey. I hope you're both well and thank you for your reply, I really appreciate it. Take care 😊
Yes thanks, hope you are good too
Wendy's does sqaure patties because they don't cut corners (it was a tag line for them)
Oh haha clever marketing from Wendy's 😁
Hi Stacey and Kev. So excited to see this trip. Congrats Stacey on your new job. I can't sleep the night before a trip ether. It's been a hot minute since I flew on Air Lingus. The food we had was very good. What you had looked questionable. 😮. Very nice hotel room ( I almost said cabin) lol. Having the kitchen area is always nice. The Wendy's burger looked really good. It was huge. Yes, they have square burgers. So little sleep then eating I would definitely be ready for a good night's sleep. Thank you so much for taking us along with you and all your hard work. It's appreciated. You are both awesome. ❤❤
Thanks so much MaryAnn, hope you're well. And haha funny you said that as we kept calling all the rooms we stopped in a cabin 🤣
We enjoyed your travel day Kev and Stacey. Shame about the lack of a Starbucks mug from Dublin, but as Stacey indicated, that would be cheating! Airline food is never that great, but you got to watch the Wizard of Oz! 73F? I thought that sounded a little warm for outside in Manassas (where Dulles is) in January! 🤣🤣Thanks for the clarification. Wendy's isn't bad and the Baconator is a great choice! Looking forward to your trip down by the mall. Thanks for bringing us along.
Thanks so much Dave and Kathy, hope you're both well. Thanks so much for watching as always 😊 😘
Always square patties at Wendy’s, never frozen either.
Welcome to the USA and my hometown…..Maryland.
Thanks so much 😁
Greetings from an expat Brit about 50 miles south of DC. Hope you enjoyed my adoptive hometown!
Just started watching your Arvia content tonight, because we're doing a Spain cruise on that in July.
Have a great roadtrip!
Thanks so much for watching Mark, have a great time on Arvia when you go 👍
@@OneCouplesAdventureCheers!
Looking forward to your next videos
I'm so jealous. Are you going to Savannah in GA!? It's my favourite place, reminds you of the time where gentlemen tipped their hats & ladies had lunch all while sipping a mint julep. Have fun guys
Thanks so much, and yes Savannah was beautiful 😍
You guys are so fun to watch. You do a great job. I love seeing DC thru your eyes/your perspective.
That's really kind of you, thanks 😁
Ireland is beautiful 🍀I've noticed a reduction in flights from Manchester to New York got to go to Dublin or London puts me off I'm sticking to cruises ,have a great time 😊
Thanks so much Carmel
Glad you had a good trip with Aer Lingus.
After you do the US pre-clearance you are even more airside than usual, so that is why you couldn’t go to the other areas. You’ll just have to come back over!
We had guests this weekend, that we met for the first time on NCL Prima. It was their first time on the island of Ireland too, because of the missed port in Belfast.
Looking forward to seeing the rest of your road trip. And congratulations Stacey on the new job.
Thanks so much Derek, we'd love to visit Ireland properly at some point 👍we know for next time about the pre clearance lol 😁
Enjoy your trip. Can't wait to see what this adventure holds for ye😊
Thanks so much
Congrats on the new job …. Hope all goes well. Really interesting to see the change in Dublin…..
Enjoy your road trip
Really looking forward to this!!! ❤
Great start, can’t wait to see the rest of the road trip. Good luck in your new job. 🍀
Thanks 😁
I’m watching this buzzing for you, we’ve done the same trip over 2 trips, favourite places were Washington Williamsburg Charleston Beaufort and Savannah
Thanks Paul, we know you love the US too 😁😍
Looking forward to this one. We went to Alaska on Princess last September after watching your vlogs. Holiday of a lifetime. I’ll have to hide my 💳 when watching this series 😂
Hahaha 😁 and thanks so much for watching the videos
I pick hotels that don’t charge for parking all the time. Next to Disney Springs there is a short street that I checked every hotel starting at the closest to the Springs and the fifth away was Hilton that didn’t charge. We stayed there for 3 days. Before you know it WDW will be charging $100 for parking or else all those robbing bigwigs will rightfully be fired and then that won’t happen. So glad you get to do this trip before your new job. Hope you enjoy your visit.
Thanks so much Leslie
Loved your latest vlog and really looking forward to the rest of the videos. Nice change from cruising. Like you we are regular cruisers but did Canada by train from Vancouver to Toronto last year and it was great to do something completely different. Keep the vlogs coming
Thanks so much and yes we love being out on the open road exploring 😁. Your trip sounds like it was amazing
Hi Stacey and Kev, congratulations on your New job, I've been looking forward to this trip. Love Stacey face Kev when you was getting stuck into that burger, my husband said that's what I look like when I know I should of gone for what he had, it did make us laugh 😃, looking forward to the rest of your vlogs x x
Thanks so much and haha it's horrible isn't it when as soon as you see what somebody else had and it looks better than yours 🤣
🍔 ❤
Looking forward toall your video's of this new trip. Do you love the American big supermarkets? I haven't been in any of them so far. I was lucky enough to some M7S in London to be amazed what they sell. Anyway..have a great trip and stay safe! 💚
Thanks so much and yes we love the big American supermarkets. We spend hours in there lol 😆
Loved the vlog!! Just stumbled across your channel ❤. You sound like you’re from my neck of the woods (duck!), I moved up north so was nice to hear!
Thanks so much and yes Duck hehe 😁☺️
The pre clearance in Dublin is great as you arrive as a domestic passenger in the US. However once you have gone through the pre-clearance procedure in Dublin, you are in an area of the airport that is designated as being in the USA, so there is no going back. It is important to buy anything you need in the excellent range of (expensive) shops outside the preclearance area before going in as the offerings post clearance are limited, as you found out. Enjoy the rest of the trip and if you get a chance visit Historic Williamsburg as you go south it is a good day out.
Thanks so much Dan, we definitely know for next time. We'll be flying via Dublin again in the future for sure 😁. Plus we'd love to visit Dublin properly too
😀
Congratulations on the new job Stacey! Looking forward to the vlogs of your road trip and many more adventures!
Thanks so much 😁
Great travel vlog we are big are Lingus fans ,can't wait watch you back in USA😊
Thanks Gloria, we'll definitely be flying with Aer Lingus again 😁
Hi Kev and Stacey, hope you both are well, another great vlog, thanks for sharing. Congratulations on you're new job Stacey, all the best! You'll smash it 💯
Thanks so much Danny 😁
Great vlog, unsure why your expectations of Wendy’s was so low. They’re the best fast food burger place!
Hi both. Thank you for your vlogs. I have a couple of questions. I've noticed that you don't seems to wear a mic but your audio is really loud and clear. What audio equipment do you use? I also noticed Stacey could hear you even 50/60 feet away when she walked away from the squirrels at the Lincoln memorial. Did she have an earpiece?
Hi, thanks for watching, and we just use a sennheiser mke 200 microphone, but no wireless Mics. I think when Kev shouted give us a wave when I was far away, he waved from behind the camera, so I waved back. I didn't actually hear him 😁
Looks like a stress free start . Which car hire company did you choose ?
Hi we went with Alamo, we've always used them on visits to the States because they don't put a massive hold on your credit card like some others do, plus we have never experienced them trying to sell us all the extras on arrival ( can't be doing with that after a long flight) 🤣 We just get what we paid for 👍
I hope you have had an amazing road trip and didn't eat too much over there 😅 i like those tucsons, was it a nice car to drive for all thise miles?
No comment lol.... well actually if we're being honest we ate loads 🤣
Hello I've just found your vlogs and subscribed. This is the exact trip I've been looking at booking but don't know where to start . Could you tell me how you booked your trip please ❤ did you do it yourselves or through an agent ? Xx
Hi Nicky, thanks so much and we booked it all separately. The flights with Aer lingus, hotels with Hotels.com, and then the car hire was with Alamo. We booked our flights first then just booked the hotels in order depending on where we wanted to visit
Thank you 😊 look forward to following along on you're wonderful ❤ 11:20 adventure ❤
No don't go in a care home. you guys are far to independent. LOL🤣💓⛹♂🚴♀
🤣😁
