That first saga of Dragon Ball was so much fun. Loved when Goku took him to the moon after everything was over. Only thing personally funnier in this saga than the scene taking Monster Carrot to the moon was Roshi going nuts when Bulma flashed him and she didn't know Goku took her panties off.

There's something you missed Geekdom101, which is that there's an antagonist to Sun Wukong which is a rabbit that lives on the moon in Journey to the west, which most of early dragon ball is based on.

I'm pretty sure if you have any kind of skin and you touch Monster Carrot/he touches you, you'll be transformed into a carrot. It'd work on Beerus. All he needs to do is outsmart you by starting off with a handshake or something. Honestly, it'd likely work on the angels as well. They may be able to transform themselves back to normal though some plot armor bullshit, but that's neither here nor there.

Vegetto and stronger characters probably COULD turn into a carrot but like we saw when vegetto was turned into candy by buu, If you are strong enough you will likely still be able to maintain control of the carrot and still fly around and slam into the bunny guy until he turns you back. Probably everyone at least ssj3 buu saga Gotenks or stronger would maintain control of the carrot in such a way. Imo
Between vegito vs buu and jiren vs hit i think you could argue that when characters are way beyond someone else techniques like this cant fully take hold. Then again kienzan worked against freeza and guldo's time powers worked on everyone

It would probably work on everyone, presiding that monster Carrot can make contact, until we get to Buu because Buu already can freely change his form. We would probably be having a carrot vs candy battle in that case, and the gods are probably immune due to divine protection.

yeah once ki attacks in the forms of ki blasts and energy based techniques became the effective norm for the cast, guys like monster carrot is effectively nerfed in effectiveness as they don't need to touch him to kill him, hell, first form freeza would only need a single finger at most to murder the guy

I still think that even way stronger characters, even if transformed, could still beat him and force him to to change them back, just like Vegetto did with Buu. But, of course, we don't know if it's the same thing or not, but possibly could be that if someone is too powerful can overcome even magic, kinda like the limits that wish-granting dragons have, cause their powers are magic based, and even the power to create them is magic.
Toriyama did say that once Master Roshi blew up the moon, Boss Rabbit and the Rabbit Gang just went drifting in space. All I know is that I would love to see him make a return!
It's similar to the candy beam so I guess people that are much stronger than him have control over the carrots body or don't transform into carrots(realized while writing that you talked about that in the video)
have you made any videos discussing the differences between characters who have attained god ki, and those from a divine origin? Or status?? While i feel more obviously there should be an assumed difference between these characters and what affects certain situations would have on them. I find myself having to explain this to many people who just end up getting frustrated.

Monster Carrot has to touch people for it to work Devilman's evil beam is an energy attack but I guess that can be dodged nobody in super would see him as a threat so it could work but Vegito was turned into a gumball and somehow kept his mental faculties and some degree of power so maybe it wouldn't work properly on super strong guys
