Same for me!! Keto cured my IBS. I suffered for years. Had a colonoscopy, endoscopy, testing for Celiac. Everything! Told me cut out most animal foods & eat veggies, fruit & whole grain. It got worse. Later I tried Keto for weight loss & the IBS just stopped. 😊
Wonderful🤗 Thanks for sharing your experience. It's so useful
Did you have inflamation on your colonoscopy then it was gone after keto?
You most likely have/had SIBO. I’ve recently tested positive for SIBO after having digestive issues since 2005. Perhaps do some research and take a test, as most people who have IBS actually have SIBO.
This is giving me hope.
Same thing happened to me
Probably a 95% carnivore here. Headed into my 5th year of Keto, ketovore, carnivore, on occasion dirty Keto.
Keto cured my IBS which was a daily occurrence. I knew where every single bathroom was on highways, stores, restaurants. Sometimes I had to stay home when I had a really bad flare up. Soiled myself a few times. Keto cured that for me. I now have rare occasional bouts but only because I suffer from anxiety.
Keto cured my heart palpitations, lack of energy and gave me the strength of a large man 😅. Reduced my depression greatly! I could go on and on about what Keto can do.
I keep telling people who will not listen to me. Keto works on so many things.
Amen! They will listen until I tell them I was cured by how I eat, not a pill!!!! Ugh! It's like they think I'm making it up. The one thing they can't deny is my outward appearance changes due to weight loss! Keep sharing, someone will listen eventually. 😂
Exactly the same with me.
Keto cured my Dunlap!!
Dunlapped over!
Lol😅
Working on it y'all! Love your stuff.
FACT! 😂
😂
I developed IBS after following a VERY heavy vegetable based high carb vegan diet. Life with IBS sucks. The anxiety associated with it makes the IBS even worse! And using a public bathroom with IBS wind is way more embarrassing than I could put in to words 🙈🙈🙈 I’m only four weeks in to a ketovore diet and my IBS was bad for the first three weeks. This past week has been great and I pray to God it continues 😜
Yes, high veggie and fruit consumption makes my IBS worse. I guess it's the high fiber in them. My anxiety, like yours is bad, especially in my job , when 💩 hits the fan at any moment. I'm in law enforcement. My IBS seems to always act up when stuff happens. Just starting keto, hopefully it will help with my IBS and anxiety.
It may get worse before it gets better but that’s only my experience. I’ve just started taking digestive enzymes because I’m pretty sure after a long time vegan on a low fat diet that my body is struggling to eat fat. And please don’t take a tablespoon of MCT oil on an empty stomach thinking it will kickstart Ketosis…. Oh my, I sat on the toilet for two days 🙈
All the best, anxiety sucks
@@jacqueline1752consume fermented dairy kefir high quality butter high quality yogurt it helped my gut symptoms more then anything. U gotta be careful low quality meat that has antibiotics in it will destroy ur microbiome
@@CGMS1810fiber by definition is plant material u can’t digest meaning ur body views it as foreign material it needs to eliminate. I had the same problem I was heavy carb eater and had a horrible gut. It can be tricky to fix I suggest no meat that has antibiotics and consume high quality fermented dairy like yogurt or kefir and also butter.
Yes. A series on what Keto improves would be wonderful to share for the doubters!!
Keto cured my IBS too. I’m so grateful! ❤
Carnivore diet definitely helped by overactive bowels, joint pains and weight. I went from 5 bathroom breaks in the morning to one
YESSSS!!!
What about the diarrhea from the carnivore diet? I went 3 weeks of pure hell and had to stop because of the explosive diarrhea.
@@m.b.593 some people that happens to. Ask on the comments. You put that comment on a comment. There’s a reason for that Most people that clears up but I’m not a doctor
A month into Keto and IF. Ive noticed a huge difference and even family and coworkers noticed
It took me going Carnivore to cure my bathroom urgencies. Something was irritating me few years into my 4 yr keto journey. So happy and at peace to have freedom now
I've been there, Neisha. Love, from Little Rock. I was twice hospitalized with ulcerative colitis and underwent surgery. I understand the urgency you describe, the bleeding, dehydration. I was told I'd need Humira injections for the rest of my life. Now, I've been off the needles and remain symptom-free for almost a year. Shed 30 pounds. Bless you for sharing such a personal, embarrassing experience. This video will help people who are suffering. You are beautiful and brave.
Just from keto u fixed it?
That’s great to hear ur IBS was cured with Keto. I had IBS for about 35 years with similar symptoms. I went on a Keto/low carb diet for weight loss and, unexpectedly, have been cured from IBS as well. I have gotten off one medication for that and recently cut the other in half with plans to come off that in the future. I am so happy to be less concerned where the nearest rest room is. Thanks for sharing!
It’s funny how my ibs c went to severe ibs d after being carnivore.
Yes a series please. My IBS has also gone away.
Did you have a colonoscopy that showed you were healed?
I was that way too and it was so hard going anywhere. Keto cured my IBS too.
Did you have a colonoscopy that showed you were healed?
Love you neisha! I vote YES to the series what keto improves!
As someone who has lived with ms for 14 years (treatment free) after a year & a half living a carnivore lifestyle, Iv never felt better!
Stay healthy. Stay free 😘☀️ 🥩
Tell me more!
Yes! I’ve had IBS for 40 yrs. and now I’m doing much better. I started carnivore end of sept. And then I went a bit more keto and now I’m low carb and still doing well. I now know the foods that I do okay with and ones I don’t and carnivore helped me do that.
I’m been struggling with IBS-D for more than 10 years. I know the feeling. You have to plan everything around a bathroom. Everyday wishing you can be normal and just wake up and enjoy life without thinking about your stomach and where the bathroom is. The anxiety of going out and having to rush to the bathroom is unbearable. Right now I’ve been like this for so long I don’t remember what it is to go about your day without thinking about my stomach and the bathroom. I’ve recently started carnivore diet. Other than losing a little weight (which being a guy who is naturally lean is not really a good thing) so far I have not had an emergency. I still feel a little anxious but my gut inflammation is gone. The constant bloating and gas. The acid reflux is gone! I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. For me it’s been so long since I’ve felt normal. Thank you for your video because it showed me that I’m not alone and I too can get better.
Carnivore cured my IBS! 5 weeks into carnivore I used to go 6 to 7 times a day now it’s 1 to 2, what a blessing
You just described my life before keto. Sudden “I got to go” 20 mins or less after eating is a thing of the past!! 🎉 Sometimes would even leave work in the middle of the day if I started to feel the gurgling and pray that I made it home in time.
Yes, a series for us IBS sufferers would be awesome 👍🏾
Yes girl! Since discovering you two (Dr.B). Yes that (certain problem) has greatly improved since following you and Dr. B’s advice since 2017 besides ‘that issue’, insomnia gone period, and now my sleep routine is solid- (9:30-4am-wake on my own no problem ❤ it)steady energy, my moods don’t fluctuate, depression has become rare, bloat gone, weight stabilized, eye floaters, gum inflammation, sore or stiff joints. I for one would greatly love you possibly doing a series! Because I am already thinking I say I forgot about that one too!🎉
That was me many years ago. For YEARS it was a nightmare. Even at home, I wound up running straight to the shower so many times a day. Stopped gluten and it got better, but not gone. But that part is gone now for the most part. But on the carnivore and trying to detox oxalates, and get better- I've been having bouts of weird bathroom events, rashes, headaches, etc. Hopefully it will clear up soon.
Yes to the video of all the changes keto has brought about. I know it's huge! My ibs is so much better having been keto almost 5 years and over 100 pounds ago. Soooo many improvements in my life! That video would be yet another validation for me and encouraging to so many like me!!! Please do it!
Absolutely! Please do a series! Keto has been so helpful for me! I started doing research at the end of 2021 for NAFL and found you & Dr. Berry. Others too. I began this lifestyle January 2022. Since then inflammation is gone, anxiety and depression almost nonexistent, sleeping is improved, and I’ve lost 43 pounds and maintaining my weight. I have more energy to run after my 1yo grandson I’m raising. As well as my other 9 grands. I am so thankful for your help as well as the others who have given good sound advise for staying with this lifestyle. Thank you, many blessings to you and your family. Your babies are so adorable.
P.s. lowered A1C to 5.5 from 7.8, lowered BP to normal. Taking myself off the BP meds.

How can you know that inflamation is gone tho?
Thanks so much for this video sharing your experience with IBS. I can so relate to your comments! It has affected my life for over 30 years now. I couldn’t make social plans or leave the house some days because I didn’t know what to expect. For years, I ate tons of salads, veggies and grains thinking I was doing a good thing and after I cut way back on those things, lowered my carbs and started eating meat again, my symptoms greatly improved. Thank you and Dr. Berry for all you do!!
Yes! Please do a series! I have IBS and totally can relate.
Thank you for this video! Yes, please do a series on keto improves
I didn't realize just how ill you were a few years ago. You had a lot going on. (I'm rewatching some of your old videos). So good to see how you turned it all around. You also look healthier every year, Neisha! WTG!! 🙂🙏❤️
This is me all the time too … never wanting to go out anywhere for long or too far from home … thank you for sharing
Please, please, please do a series on what Keto did for you. I'm 68 yo and have had it since I was in my 20s. If I could get rid of it, it would change my life. I had major fertility issues so bad my doctor and husband convinced me to have a complete hysterectomy which TOTALLY, TOTALLY broke my heart and I've never gotten over. Please help women so they can have a life.
I saw a person that cut the egglife wraps into thin strips and boiled them for about 1 min and used them as noodles. I am going to try it.
Thank you for sharing your IBS story.
This is the EXACT video I’ve been looking for to show my Honey the way to Keto/carnivore! THANK YOU for this incredibly relatable video!! 🙏💜
Most people enjoy REAL TALK, thanks for keeping it 💯 appreciate the videos you and Dr. B do!
Hi Neisha..... your situation sounded so uncomfortable and anxiety inducing! I'm glad you're doing so well now. I had the opposite IBS issue. i worked M-F and never pooped until Saturday or Sunday. I was under so much stress and so tense in those days. I'm here to tell you I couldn't wait til the weekend. Not for the same reason most others couldn't, I just wanted to get all that crap out of my system. It was awful. I had a lot of stress in my life back then. My doctor told me to get the stress out of my life. I did and I've been fine ever since.
It's amazing what can cause us to have physical issues. And thank you for your great videos!
Yes, please share all the changes you have had. It would help a lot of us with learning ourselves.
Neisha, we love you! You hold nothing back. Let it all hang out.
Thank you for sharing these things. You are your husband have helped me so much. I have IBS and my family was fine... but since we made the switch to eating healthy and grass fed, etc... very clean meats... we have been seeing less and less inflammation and has improved the quality of our lives. It was your husband's videos we saw first then yours and we are so thankful to you both for teaching and sharing. 🙏🏼

I have had a shy bladder for many years. It used to be a huge issue, but not so much now. I'm a guy and I use a stall, but I can usually go. I had IBS bad for a long time, but mine turned out to be caused by a raging systemic yeast infection. Anti-fungal meds cleared it up. I had my gallbladder removed in 1999 but my bowels usually work normally, unless I have too much fat. Happy to hear that Keto cured your bathroom issues!
Thank you Neisha for this great news. I’m battling IBS most days and nights! I would love to watch a video about Keto and the benefits. Bless you ❤
Hi from New Zealand. Love your videos. Great content. Very real. The very first thing I notice with eating keto is the indigestion/reflux improves markedly overnight. Best decision I ever made to improve my lifestyle. Thank you for all your encouragements.
Yes I would love a series like that. Especially since I’m just getting started and need the motivation
Only carnivore really stopped IBS for me but Keto certainly helped 75% and I was Keto for well over 20 years.
Series please!!! I first developed IBS when I was 12. I totally understand what your saying about find a bathroom NOW!! Keto solved this problem. Thank Goodness
WOW! Who knew you and I had so much in common!?! Thank you for your honesty. Yes, we'd all benefit from learning more about the healthy benefits of the Keto lifestyle. Thanks for being so real.
I am astonished by your story today about IBS!! You constantly surprise me by your honesty & willingness to share! Yes, I want to hear more of how your diet lifestyle has changed/improved your life. And thank you...
Yes! Do the symptom-improvement series!
Yes, a series would be awesome!
Carnivore cured my IBS as well. Thank God! Having IBS is so controlling. I missed out on many outings because I didn't know if my IBS would act out and there wasn't a battle nearby, what would I do. I'm so happy being a Carnivore. Thanks to Dr. Berry, give him a hug from me.
Yes, please do a series about how keto helps with so many different issues
Love you can speak on this topic!!!! Your Confidence Is amazing.
Yes do the series!!!
YES!!! Please do a series!!! ❤
Yes please do a series on things that have gotten better I have had ibs cause I have endo metros is on my Bowles plus I have no gallbladder which made my ibs really bad high fat seems to make me run to toilet 17 years still after my gallbladder surgery . I’m so glad your talking about this thankyou
I just got diagnosed with Hashimoto’s and had SIBO. I just started an elimination diet and my stomach is starting to feel better. I’m so glad my friend sent me this link. You are awesome! Thank you for being vulnerable and for sharing.
Yes that is what im very interested in is videos that talk about all the things ketovore has improved and also what i eat in a day ❤️ thank you
Your video described me to a T! Been a follower of yours and Ken x 5 years, IBS solved. Thanks for sharing “our” story!
Did a colonoscopy show full healing too?
Omg! You just told my story. I started the keto lifestyle in 2020 and I’m happy to say I have no more 911 bathroom emergencies. So happy about that. I didn’t start the keto journey for that purpose but it was definitely a wonderful result and I’m so grateful.
This would be a answer to prayer for me! I am 63 and have had IBS since I was a teenager. Looking forward to a life change!!!❤
So happy for you. I have IBS and been on Keto 5 years and transitioning to carnivore and I still have chronic diarrhea. I hope to one day poop like a normal person too.
Yes to the series!
Yes series😊 on 1 topic at a time ❤
Yes, please a series!
I can so relate. We were traveling and no bathroom anywhere. We finally saw a small church and we pulled around back and there was a car and they let us in. Thank you God. Thank you for your story.
Yes! Please do a series on IBS.
YES. Do a series!!
Keisha you and Dr Berry are my doctors and the best I ever had god bless you both wonderful people
This WOE, has definitely helped my IBS too! Plus other good stuff 😊. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
Yes a series, would be great 👍🏻
Yes to a series re all the benefits!
Diagnosed w/Crohns, IBS, and ulcerative colitis when I was 25…It was devastating. Now at 51 and after switching to a ketogenic diet, it changed my life! Feeling great and in the best health of my life so I understand. And it’s great to hear stories like this!
Please do continue! People need to hear this. 👍🏻
Yes, do the series of improved systems post keto.
Yes I would be interested in hearing all the changes Keto diet brought you. I had forgot about my ibs episodes until watching this video.
I feel everything you’re saying. I suffered for 13 yrs with IBS and I always looked where the bathrooms were because when it hits you’ll knock people out of the way to get there! I couldn’t eat out with anyone without having to go to a store after just in case it hit. Haven’t had that problem in 4 yrs!!!!!
A series of improved symptoms with keto would be great!!🤍
Yes, please do a video on your eliminated heath problems since doing Keto!
Yes please tell all the positive and negative things about Keto 💜
I'd love a series about IBS symptoms please :)
I've always been constipated since childhood, after having Rheumatic Fever (55 yrs ago at age 8) until going Keto 2 yrs ago, esp now ketovoire. I also don't have any bloating & very rarely have gas.
It also calmed down/got rid of my bile gastritis which was debilitating. Gastro & PCP told me to eat more fiber; vegs & grains except when I had attacks, then I had to eat all white stuff (bread, rice, potatoes, canned vegs) & I took several meds. I no longer need meds! Thank you for sharing & providing enough info to help me & my hubby tweak our eating habits. Oh & my husband's Barrett's disease has gone & its been 2 yrs (he suffered for about 10 yrs). Due to you & Dr. Berry, we are no longer suffering.
Yes please do the series!😃
Interested in that series!
Please do the series!!! I have horrible IBS-D. Por favor!!
Yes!!! Most definitely!! I’m brand new to your channel and would love to know & hear about it!!! I’ve been suffering for a while with stomach issues. Thank you
So glad for you. You look beautiful today!
thank you so much 🥰
Yes to the series of health conditions you no longer have to tolerate.👍🏽🙏👍🏽🙏👍🏽🙏❣️
Yes please do the video. One of my major improvements is no gas since keto
Oh my still have gas issues and have had loud stomach rumbling, which others can hear and stare at me, all my life!
Hey Neisha, thanks for sharing this. I have Crohns and I know all too well what you have gone through. Five years Keto (not always perfect but not bad either) AND I haven't had any troubles with my bowels in all that time. YAY Keto and carnivore. I would like a series on what else Keto improves.......I have a list but I might have forgotten some things that have improved.
Are your colonoscopies also showing zero inflamation?
@Solid Nate I'm not having any Surgeries like that... there is no need as I am well and are not having episodes
@@kayebonato7428 i was feeling fine too with no symptoms too but colonoscopy showed stricturing and active inflamation
@@SolidNate99 Sorry to hear that
Neisha is awesome!!!❤❤❤
Yes! Please do a video on the improvements you experienced doing keto. On another note, I’m very lucky because the public restrooms at rest stops in Florida are amazing!😅
I just tried LMNT but the stevia gave me painful bloating. I did like the flavors. Maybe the plain one will be for me. Thanks for encouraging me to try keto. I’ve just started this journey cause of you❤️ and hubs
I understand totally!! I’ve had IBS for 12 years!! I started carnivore two months ago. I had to do something because I was afraid to go get my hair done. There was one small bathroom in the middle of the salon. 😬 Do you just eat meat or do you incorporate some vegetables in your diet? Thank you for being so honest!! You are helping so many people to let them know we are not alone!!❤
Thank you for this video!!! I need to try this!
I would love a video on the symptoms of IBS and how Keto helped to get rid of it. I think I have IBS and that would be very educational.
Absolutely share all of your benefits! I could write a book myself.
SO true! I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in 1996, and had to have a bowel resection in 2007 due a 8 inch mass of fistulas that had engulfed my appendix. Forever thankful those fistulas had routed back into themselves instead of going to other organs or to the skin. Fast forward to 2019, I tried Keto after reading Dr. Berry's book, but slowly slid back to the carbs. Oct. 1, 2022 something clicked in my brain...I was the heaviest I had ever been and didn't feel good, I was always tired and wanted to be a couch potato. I would not go into a store unless I knew where the bathroom was, and came very close to embarrassing accidents more than once, so I knew I had to do something. I went back to Keto for the weight loss and quickly realized, I felt like a normal person again. I could go shopping and not look for a bathroom. Blood work is better, and as an added bonus, I've lost 43 pounds (3 pants sizes) in 5 1/2 months. The things I use to crave are no longer on my radar. I have friends tell me "Don't deprive yourself, you have to indulge or you are just punishing yourself" What they don't understand is that it's not punishment, I don't miss anything. I'm still taking Humira for my Crohn's Disease because I'm just not ready to test being without it yet.
Please let me know if you find full healing. I too have crohns
@@SolidNate99 So far, Keto has helped tremendously. My crohn's is far more controlled than it has been in years.
I'm still afraid to try and stretch out my Humira doses over the every 2 weeks dosage, even thought I think I could possibly go to once a month. I just don't want to deal with the ER visit and all the pain meds, steroids etc.
I think a lot of it has to do with all the processed foods I was eating. I still hit some of the aisles in the grocery store for my husband and dad, but I truly eat the perimeter of the store. Very few veggies, meat and dairy - and no fruit. Every now and then I'll indulge with a strawberry or some other fruit. I use Stevia in the raw to sweeten everything.
I have noticed, if I 'cheat' with a piece of bread (think Longhorn's.....it's hard to pass up) load it with butter, remove the croutons from my salad and eat meat and broccoli, I'm starving ALL day long.
I feel better than I have in YEARS.
I carried a 50 lb bag on chicken feed from my car today (hubby just had knee surgery and can't carry it for me). I actually thought 'OMG, I'm carrying almost the exact amount of weight I was carrying every single day!
The weight loss was definitely a plus, but the way I feel now, Crohn's doesn't have me scoping out bathrooms the minute I walk into a store., and I'm still getting use to feeling confident. Having much less joint pain is a big plus.
Ketovore cured my IBS too Neisha =D. I have had IBS since I was a child. I just thought I would have to live with it for the rest of my life. Then I saw yours and Dr. Berry's channel and now I am IBS free! 🥰
27 yrs for me. Please share tips on how you cured it. Thanks!
@@mollyj409 it was with beef (ground beef, steak, roast beef, bone broth, etc.) and butter. I don't have access to lamb, elk, buffalo, etc., But those are good too. I included high fats, and drank water. I have no issues with dairy but listen to YOUR body. Everyone is different. Start with beef, salt, fats, and water. Give it a month or two. Sometimes it takes longer before your body heals. Once you no longer experience symptoms, try to add another carnivore food.... slowly. Only one and give it time to see how your body reacts. Your body will tall you what you need at this point. You got this!
I forgot to add one important thing. Cook your beef in tallow, lard, or bacon grease. Do not use any seed oils. These were the worst triggers for me and my son.
@@mojojojo3352 .....thank you so much for responding! You have given me hope!
@@mollyj409 the carnivore community is like a family to me, it was my pleasure to tell you what worked for me =). ☺

“Squirrel “ 😂
Southern belles seem to be leading the keto/carnivore charge. I'm genuinly curious why (and very grateful that you have!).
Thank you for sharing your story ❤
Neisha, please do a video with the symptoms you mention. I'm having trouble getting back on track and staying there. I'd you could mention some pointers that might help with that too.
