Around 7 years ago when I was 15, this was probably one of the first tutorials I ever watched when I became interested in being a DJ. I may not be scratching as much today. But, I'm playing in a club every weekend and love it! Thank you so much for making these videos, I don't know where or what I'd be doing without all these tutorials you made!
Nishy P my pleasure :)
I got into DJ'ing in 2007. Your videos literally changed my life. I cannot be anymore serious. Thank you.
he's like the Gordon Ramsay of being a DJ
I can remember the camera at the time was resting on the sofa on top of a pillow!...lol
Absolutely the best online teacher ever! Don't sell out mate!!!!!
He did not :)
Always go for direct drive turntables, don't buy belt drive. all the best

Here I am 27 going back to your videos to learn how to do stuff again. I just recently got the XDJ -XZ-N after not playing for 6-7 years. Iv been watching you since I was like 16 to learn how to play. Thank you for your knowledge and way of explaining things.
amazing!! after 6years of playing on vinyl, 10years learning and producing, tried some scratching...
But what I've never figured out by myself is, to move the hand along with the sample... Geez, no wonder I was having trouble staying in touch with the first beat !!! Thanx man, your skillz and knowhow are just briliant
I was 12 when i watched this, i had my first ever set up stanton t50s and wanted to just go wild with it and learn everything i was dead excited. I'm now turning 27. The memories.
This Guy IS the best i watch his tutorial since 2008 and he teaches a lot of things in details
Keep the good working man and thank you for what you doing
(Sorry for my English 😅)
The gems this man has taught us all, for FREE…what a guy ❤

A master tutor, he does the best DJ/Turntable tutorials
i do not have the first idea where to start, this was very useful thank you
most on line record shops will post good Breaks pl's to you, on these lp's you will get music and samples suitable for scratching and beat juggling.
Yes, at the end of the day to anything, if you wanted you could scratch to classical music!!
johnathan
Dude i can't give enough props to you, it seems you cover all topics about djing haha. Thanks again man =)
Top Notch. I offer lessons on how to play, scratch, phrase, and so on. I found your tutorial very well put together. I try to explain to my students exactly what you are saying. It's hard for me to describe

This is long division where CDJ/MP3 is the calculator. Yeah, the electronic age has made things much easier, but it takes some true skill to scratch old school. As always, awesome videos!
Awesome, ye sumone told me to take off the counter weight to scratch so now i know, thanks alot your a legend!

THANKS THIS WAS VERY HELPFUL
this is an ancient video man
+Ryan Heath God damn 2006 hahah. Even the DJ Tutor looks like a youngster heh!
Ex0rz it's actually quite interesting finding some of the earliest videos. It's like a history lesson, this guy was an innovator 😂
Ryan Heath Actually his earliest videos are the best. They are the videos that actually teach you something and not videos about how to be a better mobile dj lol. Or "how to impress the club owner with phrase mixing" :D His new videos arent bad by any means but just not as good as his older ones. Hes been doing this for so long he starts to run out of ideas i guess.
Ex0rz in his new videos he doesn't mix any actual vinyl either
. . . . . and your point is ?!
Thanks for your time! Keep it up!
Thanks!! Big help man. I had the foggiest..lol
