De Solistenklas van het Nationaal Jongenskoor is onderdeel van de Nationale Koren en staat onder artistieke leiding van sopraan Irene Verburg. De koren worden georganiseerd door Stichting Vocaal Talent Nederland. De missie is jong vocaal talent scouten en onder begeleiding van professionals tot ontwikkeling en bloei brengen. Dat doet de stichting door het aanbieden van lessen, repetities en podiumervaring voor diverse koorsamenstellingen op het hoogste niveau.
The Soloist Class from the Netherlands Boys Choir is part of the National Choirs of the Netherlands and is led by soprano Irene Verburg- organized by Vocal Talent Foundation. The foundation offers vocally and musically talented young singers (age 6 - 29) an opportunity for high-level training in singing, solfège, choral singing and general musicianship.

I don't mind dying at all as long as this can be sung at my departure.
Nothing like the voice of boy trebles. It's even more special because of the unique timbre and the short precious time that it's available. Always brings a tear to my eye. Job well done young man!

Actually,. I was AMAZED in part because of how older he looks for such a high pitched voice. Because he looks as if he's the age Or, very near the age at which boys voices change to a lower pitch.

@@DaughterofTheKing960You have every reason to question the idea behind that surprise! These guys aren’t expecting boys, let alone little black boys of 12&13 to over performing on huge stages! Now ladies as Cecilia Bartoli and Joyce Di Donato 10-15 years ago and teenage girl singers are facing strong competition from these unexpected black boys. 12 year old Malakai just took everybody by surprise not only with this same aria act 1 from Handel but also coloured his performance with Lascia ,Aria 2 from Handel and ended his performance at Royal Albert hall with Andrew L Webber Benedictus and Mozart Virtuoso just a couple of months ago! Again Malakai’s Pie Jesu at BGT last year at 12 years old was a surprise with a golden buzzer. Malakai’s parents are from Sierra Leone, West Africa!
With such a well-known aria, it's not easy to stimulate interest... and you did it in a wonderful way: perfect intonation, beautiful color of the voice, breath control, musicality. You check all the boxes. Bravo !

This eternal piece from Händel has one disadvantage only: It is far to short 😉. Very, very well and suitable interpretation. This voice nailes perfectly 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

@@eriknystrom5839 For me that is the tragedy of boys' voices. For an all too brief time we get to enjoy that very special sound and then it is but a beautiful memory.

Ive listened a dozen times and Roy moves me every time. A boy whom you may see down at the mall with his skateboard and friends, and yet he knows when he gets the perfect note. You can see it in his eyes, and when he reaches for the high note he looks up and has connection with the angels. How many of us mere mortals can reach perfection in our lives? Yet Roy can, even for such a short time
Thank you for singing. A beautiful presentation. When your voice changes you will have had such good trying at an early age, you will be able to learn that new voice just as well, for a lifetime. I hope to hear you sing again as an adult.
