Northlane were my first metalcore love, Node is an incredibly underrated album. I've seen them live 4 times (including Electric Brixton this year), I sort of hope they get a tent stage at Download and have a full Blade style vampire rave with all of the new material.
@connora3145 they're new stuff demands lasers, heavy haze, darkness and good vibes. I'd also settle for Northlane classics on 2nd stage in the early evening.
Marcus is such a sound guy, I met him at his first headline show in the UK when he joined the band, saw them at the 1st download show as well, my fav band, only wish more people would recognize how great they are and how they set trends !

I've been following Marcus since his Dream Awake tryout video for Northlane. He has become a forerunner in metalcore's evolution, along with the rest of the band. Starting as a band, I liked and eventually becoming one of my absolute favorites.
Great interview! Just saw Northlane at Froth & Fury in Adelaide a couple of weeks ago. Absolute unreal live sound! And what amazing stage presence, really love the band even more now. I was already listening to Northlane everyday, but now it's on another level 😂

Appreciate Marcus may not read this, i personally love Animate, it's a fantastic track. It's at the end of the album though, and a lot of people never make it all the way through a record, just loom at the plays count for any album on Spotify.
