- I finally did it. I finished re-editing this video so it will pass the you-know-what and added outtakes. Oh, and I fixed Alix's name and other embarrassing mistakes. (Hawk Mother, ahem, ahem.) And it's almost 2 minutes shorter than the original (ignoring the outtakes.) Doing this was actually a very interesting experience for me because it made me realize just how much I've improved. I'm far from perfect, naturally, but my videos now are loads better than the ones I made even a few months ago. That's strangely comforting to know.
Okay, wow, enough of that. Here's the original description:

Something strange about this show is how it thrives on victim blaming. Alix was about to start racing. Having a bulky watch in her pocket would've been a distraction and, just generally, not a good idea. I don't even know if the watch would fit, considering how small women's pockets tend to be and the fact that athletic clothes like this tend to be very tight. It makes sense that she gave it to someone else. Her real crime was trusting this bunch of idiots with something so important.
In fact, a lot of the time, the akumatized person is never at fault for their akumatization. It's always someone or something else that triggers it, and they get justifiably hurt. So then why is it that after all of the damage is fixed, the akumatized person is the one getting the lecture from Marinette? They weren't even in control of the damage they caused.
I personally put my phone away when I'm running or skating because I don't want to drop it (or fall on it and break it), and I feel like the same logic applies here. The show implies she shouldn't have given it to someone else, but she pretty much had no other choice (maybe she could leave it on the ground, but then someone easily could've stolen it, which, now that I think about it, would've been a better choice for the episode as then Alix would be at fault like they wanted, but I digress.)
As for everything else you mentioned, I do admit it is a little weird, and a lot of the times I feel like the people who caused the akumatization deserve some punishment. (Thinking of Chloe using her father's power to expel Alya in particular) But the show does call akumatized people "victims," and I think Ladybug eventually stops lecturing the victims in the later seasons. (Although I honestly don't remember, haha.) I think this episode in particular was very victim-blamey, but I don't think the entire show is that way. Mostly, I think it just show-cases how terrible of a person Hawk Moth is, since he takes advantage of people at their lowest and manipulates them into doing things they would never do normally, but the show doesn't do a really good job of highlighting that aspect of it, so I can see how viewers get the sense that the victim is the one in the wrong, which feels terrible because it is. To me, it seems like the show doesn't have bad morals (at least in this regard,) it's just poorly written.
Anyway, the TLDR is that I see your point, but I think that's unintentional and only comes about due to bad writing. (Except this episode, that was malicious intent, justice for Alix XD)
@officialmiraculoussins I feel like the concept is really good, but the execution was just terrible. You have a villain who, like you said, takes advantage of people at their lowest moments and manipulates them for his own gain into doing things they would never normally do. You could draw so many parallels to the real world, whether it'd be a toxic loved one, a politician, or maybe even an allegory for drugs since a lot of people start doing drugs and develop an addiction when they've hit rock-bottom, which only makes them feel worse in the long run. Ladybug and CatNoir could then represent a positive thing in your life, a person or opportunity, that pulls you out of the negative state and helps you see the light. They have animals incorporated into their designs and powers as a way to remind the viewer to reconnect with their childhood innocence as a way of counteracting negative thoughts.

Timebreaker (or Timetagger cause You're right; she DOES tag people!) is one of my favorite Season 1 episodes. Bit of plot they kept in regarding the Rabbit Miraculous!

Hahaha, thank you, I'm glad you liked it. I'm honestly a bit confused as to why they named her Timebreaker in the first place. Because the watch . . . breaks? But tbh, I do like the fact that the rabbit miraculous is foreshadowed in this episode, even if it is a bit confusing.
Please don't attack me over this as this is my opinion. But, I feel like the watch was Alix's responsibility. And while I do agree with your life lesson of "trust someone with important things wisely", I think this episode would've been over if Alya just put the watch in her pocket so she can record the race for her blog. But instead, she gave it Marinette while also being able to see she had her hands full with trying to hold the banner. Adrien caught the watch and Chloe snatched it out of his hands and then drops it after being freaked out by a hologram inside which unfortunately lead to Alix accidentally running over it. I've seen people bash Marinette in this episode because she caused an akumatization, but I feel like Marinette didn’t have much of a role in this. It was just an unfortunate accident. Again, this is MY opinion, so if you don't agree with me. Fine, but please don't cause a huge fuss over it.

I can totally see your point. The watch, from Alix's perspective, was a really important family heirloom. She knew she was going to be racing, so she should've left the watch with her father, or impressed the importance of the watch onto Alya and made sure it was safe instead of just springing it on her like she did. She definitely could've done more for the safety of the watch. In my opinion, what she did was satisfactory and should've led to the watch being perfectly fine, but I can also see the argument for her needing to be more thoughtful in her treatment of it.
What I disagree with is when she says: "I shouldn't have given it to someone else to look after." Which doesn't really make sense. Her holding it (in her pocket or otherwise) while racing still could've led to it being broken. (An outcome I think is far more likely than her friends smashing it to pieces.) So what was she supposed to do? Not race? Idk, and neither do the writers.
Like you said, if anyone had thought to use their pockets, the watch would've been safe and everything would've been fine. The show tries to blame Alix for what happened, which doesn't make sense to me at all. I agree with you that this wasn't Marinette's fault, as she's well-known for being clumsy and frazzled, and Alya should not have given her the watch when her hands were full. If I had to blame anyone, I would blame Alya and Chloe, since they're the ones with the greatest impact on the eventual outcome.
TLDR: I see your point, Alix and Marinette could've done better but ultimately it's not their fault, and pockets solve everything.
Also, right?! It's so weird XD The animation department was going crazy on this one!

One sin that I definitely would've added is this: pockets. Alya, Marinette, and Adrien all wear jeans and jackets. As far as I can tell, all three of them have pockets. And those pockets are big enough to hold a watch. To make this even worse, I'm pretty sure Alix ALSO has pockets. So, if these characters so much as THOUGHT about the very convenient devices in their pants called pockets, this whole episode could've been avoided. *deep sigh*
Moral of the story: Use your pockets, kids.

The miraculous ladybugs form the second timeline have probably fixed the damages from first timeline.

I mean time travel was done pretty well in my little pony friendship is magic. And in that one Dora the Explorer special which was honestly kinda dark.
I can't speak to Dora the Explorer's time travel, since I haven't seen that, but I will admit MLP did do time travel rather well. Unfortunately, Miraculous is far more lazy about pretty much everything XD

Yeah in the intro she doesn't trip over the cat, the black cat crossing her path represents her getting bad luck and then slipping. But she's also known to be clumsy, so she would probably trip anyway. But the scene seems to imply her clumsiness is caused by bad luck caused by cat noir?? It doesn't really make much sense. It was probably done just to be artistic.

Either she is forgotten, or she does not know how to use them.
Once again, the low IQ of the Parisians in this cartoon causes easily avoidable confusion.

That's true! Granted, since Alix was racing, her decision to not put a delicate heirloom in her pocket makes sense, at least to me, but everyone else has no excuse. It would've taken less than a second to just tuck it into a pocket XD
Soooooo Alix's father knows about miraculouses but doesn't think about how his daughters two classmates look awfully similar to the super heroes of Paris. Y'know it would actually be pretty interesting if he was a side character who helps ladybug and cat noir and also how the F_CK no one ever spacilate who ladybug and cat noir is. Like if this was irl tabloid magazines would have a field day this would also would be good side plot where people talk who they think who are ladybuf and cat noir but noooo we have to have 4 more seasons

So you can have the Kwami of Love or the Kwami of Math. But Kwamis good and evil don't exist because the definition of "good" and "evil" is relative. Also, Tikki and Plagg are the original Kwamis, but Plagg is some seconds younger

How did alix's Watch GOT back to normal since it was broke before She GOT akumatized
Hm… why didn’t they just let her go back in time and save the watch? then they could convince her to reject the akuma since the source of her anger is gone. Then LB could use her “remove consequences power” and get rid of any doubles that exist.
I think the problem with that is that Hawk Moth would take away the ability to go back in time if Timebreaker didn't try to take the Miraculouses . . . but if Ladybug and Cat Noir were sneaky about it, that could certainly work.
