- Working on something exciting! It'll probably be a long time before I can reveal it, but I'm hyped. Anyway, I hope the video is good . . . I ended up spending a lot more time on it than I expected. The audio was terrible as always, but I think I salvaged it.

These kids are so dumb. Ladybug and Chat Noir show up immediately while the school is sealed with impenetrable goo and they don't suspect anyone. The only pass I'm giving them is Mars Bars and Golden boy left some clues that they were taken and even then it's a very small pass

Watching you descend into madness over quantum masking was very entertaining. I'm glad somebody else realizes how stupid the concept is.
Like, okay, let's take it at face value. Quantum means the minimum amount of any physical entity involved in a reaction. In most cases, it's referring to energy. So... the smallest unit of masking? What does that even mean? That doesn't make any sense.
Alright, let's assume that they actually meant subatomic, since the two seem to get confused (Thanks Ant-Man.) Maybe what they really meant was masking on a subatomic level. But this also doesn't make any sense, since it would not be be perceived by the naked eye and render the masking entirely useless in the first place.
Maybe what they meant was molecular. This one actually makes a little bit of sense. It could theoretically be possible to rearrange the molecules of one's face in a way that would disrupt human facial recognition patterns without drastically changing the person's appearance. Theoretically, mind you. But it still wouldn't change their voice, and it certainly wouldn't cause everyone around them to become so braindead that they couldn't use basic logical thinking skills.
All that to say, this is not only lazy, but a huge misnomer that feeds into the false mysticism of quantum mechanics. You could have just called it magic and we could have avoided this entire conversation, but no. You just had to try and sound scientific and end up making yourself seem even stupider as a result. Well done.
I'm glad my suffering was entertaining for you 😂 You're entirely right--quantum masking (as a magical concept) could've made sense, but they made up a bunch of rules for it that made it completely fall apart. It would've been better if they hadn't explained it at all, since the fans would've come up with their own explanations that would've worked better.

Very true. And the song was weird when Ladybug sang it but sounded fine-even the chorus was okay; it was the terrible instrumental that really got me.

Cat Noir's mask even covers more of his face than Ladybug's does . . . I could honestly see not associating him with Adrien. But yeah, Ladybug is just Marinette with a different outfit XD

I like to think that quantum masking works kind of like Fairy Godmother’s magic. Quantum masking also seems like if needed to you can change what your hero outfit looks like.
