We staying in Berlin with this one because Gajin thinks it makes cents to put a early Nazi German jet into the same tier as a F86 Sabre. Amazing. It should be fighting P51s, Spitfires on the regular basis without downtiers, but here we are, suffering in the German tech tree and waiting for Gajin to lower the BR of all 262s, to no avail tho. Afterall, this is the game of suffering, am I right?

Most things would sit way lower than they otherwise would if added to the USA air tree... XP-50 and 55 are two prime examples.

@@sule.A It annoys me so much that gaijin labels the P-38, Xp-50, etc as an interceptor, but refuses to label the Bf-110G series or Me-262A-1/U4 as interceptors... The Bf-110G-4 has radar and schrage gun musik kannons, made to kill BOMBERS, not tanks. And the Me-262A-1/U-4 has that 50mm cannon to kill bombers, not tanks. So why are they strike fighters, while actual fighters get labeled as interceptors?
Razor flying a 162 at 8.0 is ridiculous in so many levels
Sometimes I feel like the 162 might perform better than the 262 per BR. Haven't ever tested it, but the bleak state of the 262 lends itself to unsavoury thoughts.

@@sule.A Yeah, I really like it, but I see why most people don't. It's one of those planes that benefits a lot from flying with squadmates, though I still like it solo.

@@sule.A Sustained is poor because turn sub 300mph is trash. 400mph and higher the turn is actually good.

@justmarc2015 the skill issue is rife, especially within gaijins balancing team.
@@MarkKirkwood-ox4zv In all fairness it is just as rife within the player base. There are still plenty of players in WT that try to turn fight A6Ms in everything they fly.
i recently got my first jet Me-262 after 175hrs. i was so excited then when i jump into arb, all of them are more powerful. climb rate sucks, very slow, engine keeps on overheating, 30mm projectile is too slow. its not a enjoyable ride for me so i went back to BF109-K4, also the Ta-152 looks interesting.
I've 4.5k hrs, after 3 years of gameplay. Given how a$sholes are at gayjin, i realized that the fact that irl Me-262 to be taken down, was pursued by 16x P-51, shows still how bad allies are crying. Still, 262 is still playable, u just have to see how bad it is in game, and adapt, just like Bf-109 and Fw-190, that sadly are nerfed asf. I'm still able to make 2-3 kills per battle with 109 and 190, and with 262, i'm able to make 1-2 kills per battle. U can make it pal, just a matter of learning and effort on it. Anyway, godspeed.
The jabo 262 variant gets an air spawn in the fighter airframe mitigating the early game problems.

@@Ghilliez every 7.0 jet gets matched with bs unless it’s the SU-11 which outperforms pretty much everything.
All me 262s aren’t great but at least the Jabo has something going for it.

If this thing wouldn't turn worse than a bomber , it would be way better . Same goes for the He162 , such a light weight and a turn rate like a 2 engine strike aircraft . While Mig's and Sabre turn almost better than a FW190 , even the Arado C3 is a better jet fighter at it's BR . 😅
The 162 actually has a strong turn rate 400mph+. The issue is the speed bleed and it's subpar turn rate below 300mph.
@@rainsilent If you wiggle with your wings , you lose almost 100kph in a 162 . Every plane or jet has it's own law's of physics , some bleed energy by the slightest move and some lose almost no speed at a full 180° turn . Seems like they even get speed out of a turn , air RB ist just arcade mode . If you don't know the enemy plane , you can get a nasty suprise .

I'm holding off on purchasing (with SL) the premium 262 that has the 2xMk103, 2xMk108, ANF 2xMG151 mainly because it's BR is so high and I presume it would be not very fun due to the wonky matchups at its BR

The C-2b variant of the 262 never fought either Mustangs or Spitfires. It was only ever test-flown once. The 262s which saw service in numbers were the A-1 and the A-2. Those ones are pretty hopeless against Sabres in this game.
It didnt actually fought P-51s and Spitfire. The Me-262 C-2b just was a singular prototype that flew once and never engaged combat.
