Very nice to see older lighting instruments being used today. I used to work with those types of hot lights, back in the day.
I love to use this stuff too.
The thumbnail looks amazing! 😱👏🏼
Thank you 👌
Another one from the king! 👑
another one ) Short film together soon. Exited for this one 💪
Super helpful video. Thank you
Thanks
Super!
Thanks for sharing, a lot of useful material here.
My pleasure!
Amazing shots, really cool light schemes!
Glad you like them!
Oh man ! Real Deal with this shots. Little question about the Kelvin value in first shots with the lady and orange bicycle ? Is it 2700 k ? BTW Inspiring work. :)
All the light sources there was 3200k . Camera was around 5000k . Thanks glad to hear it :)
yea
Hell yeah 🤟
Thanks for explaining these shots! Just some questions: In the first scene you mention that you have an Arri 300 lighting the bike. Does that light also give the highlight on the woman's face on the left or is that coming from the 2k outside? Also, the Vortex outside, do you use it through that diffusion to blow out the window so you can't see through it from inside?
We had a different type of day outside when we shot this. We decided to increase volume for windows a bit to have more warm nice feeling.
1. We put against the window 4/4 frames frost.
2. Vortex just for adding more volume there. High light on the face it’s from first window. From vortex 8 + 2K tungsten.
Arri 300 work only for bike .
Thanks! Ok, so the 2k is not lighting straight into window, but also go through diffusion? I just looked at that BTS pic from outside, and thought only the Vortex went through diffusion.
Anyways, thanks for replying. I want to try something similar soon
Amazing video, thanks for your sharing!
Thanks for watching!
this is so much knowledge in this thank you
Thanks a lot
This shot at 10:40, i find the blue rimlight a little bit unnatural and unmotivated, i just think its too cold temp and intensity. A good example of not having to always play by the book. I think that rimlight eats attention from this otherwise nice scene of a warm hug
yes it make sense. I talked about but cut this part from the video)
very nice yeaa.. keep them coming yeaa. 😄😄
