STOP Buying Wrong Light as a Beginner - TRUE!😎
yeapo
Cool!
thanks
What would you recommend as a minimum for a faking the sunlight in a studio room about 30 square meters and a balcony. Is 300w will be enough for such an upstage light and ability to fill the room (white walls) with some ambience from bouncing the light from the floor/furniture? Or for such scenarios without adding ambient level from the inside of the room it is better to go for something like 600-1200 watt?
300W Aputure or Arri 300W tungs light. Usually 600w light start to be useful outside to mimic any daylight scenario but also depends on weather outside. If you will do it at night it might be better with 600W but also to recreate pure daylight with all the different bouncing it can be slighly different approach. But you can start with 600w at night or cloudy weather.
@@braunov Got it. There is not a big price gap between 300w and 500/600w nowdays so I’m so then I'll most likely buy 600w because for half a year outside my window it's winter and cloudy weather. I'll be giving myself sun therapy even without filming lol
amazing video mate, you have earned my sub indeed! how did you get that almost blurry prism effect at 0:09? i would greatly appreciate the insight!
Thank you very much. It's just Davinci resolve plugins. Lens Distortion and radial blur
Cool info for beginners as usual! thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
What is your opinion on going for tungsten lights for beginners? I bought two Arri 2k fresnels for $200 each and also some 2000w open face lights for much cheaper. Much brightness for the money, but to gel it to daylight wastes so much output. I was thinking that apart from night time use I could use them inside during the day for sunset/sunrise look. What do you think?
2K Tungs Arri it's good stuff. I used it a lot back in the days. It has more accurate warm quality. For some cases can be cheaper then LED. I'm not recommended gel them it doesn't make any sense but if you want to have daylight temp you can do this. You can still shooting in the middle of the day just block out window and create a tent with some distance from the window then you can put 2K there I will suggest couple of them for each window or also couple of them to one window if it's large. Next step is bounce them from muslin or white ultrabounce inside the tent and you can get super nice sunrise sunset look from inside the room. And if you want to have white light like basic daylight 5500K then just chance you white balance in the camera and your tungs become daylight. But make sure you don't have any other light with 5500 native temp.
We need more lights!!!!
totally
Hey man! Where is the new video on your Youtuba channel??
Coming soon
Thanks for sharing❤
Super!!!
Very nice to see older lighting instruments being used today. I used to work with those types of hot lights, back in the day.
I love to use this stuff too.
Thanks for info!
No problem!
Thanks for using our Xtalk wireless intercom system!
I love it!

Thanks! Will do!
This is some good stuff. Preparation and communication is key!
Thanks this really important stuff
Very very useful information! Dude it's gold for newbies and beyond!👌 Thank you for your videos!👏
My pleasure!
Thanks for sharing! Totally useful information👍
Glad it was helpful!
We need more your videos! Nice to learn from your content🤟
More to come!
Why am I not seeing these bad ass commercials? You have more attention to detail than corporate people do their commercials. This actually makes Temu stand out with higher standards over their own commercials
Thank you very much for this comment. Ye sometimes it depends on brand identity what kind of audience they want to pull in. I would say mine version a bit modern and realistic compares with their but who knows what they think about it at all.
Wow! Commercial looks so good. Keep making informative videos like this🤟 And by the way, you have great pajama pants!😆
thank you very much ) hah Pajama pant's it's my favorite
THanks, nice breakdown!
thanks
Would love to see you do a video on creating a treatment for a commercial.
Something will coming soon about that

Great breakdown of your process! I really enjoyed hearing about the techniques you used
thank you a lot
Your attention to detail and creative approach are truly inspiring!
thanks)
were you the actress in the commercial? if you were, you were really great too. Kudos to you.
Great Cine break-down and spec commercial. Keep going!
Appreciate that. Will do absolutely
Which camera did you shoot on?
Panasonic GH5 + Sigma 18-35 lens.
Love the cheff kiss with Cardi and magic arm. I think a $5 clamp lamp would look cool here attached to the chest of drawers and pointed at the flower for a spot of light
Thanks man. I tried put some additional light there but then I decided no it's too much you know. Next time I just will do a bit different props and ect.
Amazing breakdown!
thanks) I hope you found something useful from it.
@@braunov Everything was useful. Great stuff! Looking forward to the next one!
Wow. Watched all videos today. Find some trickes that i haven't seen from other popular filmmakers on youtube. I have some question. 1) How convinient to use metal light stand for grip litle frost frames / tubes / small lights. I am shooting 99% at home and i have only 1 C-stand. I understand that you also only have one. Is it enough for you to have regular metal light stand for everything else? 2) What king of foam board do you use in front of fresnel lens. Is it plexiglass?
Hi, thanks for your comment. 1) The more C-Stands you have the better. I have several of them I just show how to do it in the budget way. C-Stands usually using for Flags,Board,Control light equipment. If you don't have money for bigger proper light stand then you can use more cheaper ones or using C-Stands. 2) Foam board I bought in Home depot ( you can buy white or black ) Also in Dollarama you can find something similar too. Amazon same foam board many different variations.
How ?
it looks dull because you didn't interpret it using COLOR SPACE TRANSFORM
What do u think about CST inside dehancer and do all the color adjustments from the plugin?
Thanks for sharing! Your shots look amazing
Thank you a lot
Cool one! It'll be great to see more videos like that

what is the lightmeter app and what brand is it for diffusion/floppy?
Sidus Link from Aputure but you can google more alternative ones too. Diffusion/ floppy it's usually Matthews or alternative for less price.
good stuff
Thanks )
Super!
Super! Super!😊

Yeah dude! It's really easier to use what you control, but to use a light that you can't dim or change its color is really an art. Crocodile style
@@OleksandrHakh exactly you should push yourself to the next level of understanding how to control the sun like a pro. Thanks 🙏 Crocodile here
