I guess they don't call games the same way american anouncers do. You'd probably never get a french adaptation of "Brady... takes the snap... he looks, he steps up...". The sport is not very popular here so I'm not even sure we have actual "american football commentators". My guess is they prefer to wait for the play to be over and comment on what just happened. I know for a fact, however, that one of the two anouncers is Richard Tardits and he played for the Pats in the early 90s which is a pretty big accomplishment for a french player.
