@@Ixidora I know that. I still figured they could feature in videos, though. Like you, I disagree with WotC’s decision. Erasure is never a better path than understanding, and to be frank a great portion of the cards they axed are quite benign.

@@jamesgasik3424 why not just make things more confusing and make multiple Raging Rivers instead so that way people are so confused they can't play anymore?
Authority of the Consuls is probably my favorite enchantment. Slows my opponents down plus gains me life, which is a draw engine in Oloro, all for 1 Mana.
I think it would be cool if you also inform us about the price of the cheapest version of those cards too. Shouldn't be too time-consuming, and it is very interesting
When I had a kobold deck, I used to put out raging river and illusionary mask with random kobolds out there. It was a fun mess when it worked lol. I lost that deck somewhere, which is a shame, I also had some gauntlets of mights and blood moons to help make it work. losing the gauntlets hurt.
Power Artifact is played in cedh, which is probably another reason it's so expensive. It combo's with multiple other artifacts, and it can go off early in the game
If your clustering the Legends rares, you might as well have included all four of the so-called “Horsemen”. Both Nethervoid and All Hallows’ eve would have make list as well.
I like these lists, it's fun seeing some of the old judge promos and stuff that gets outrageously expensive, but I'd be more interested in a list that compared the most expensive cards to play regardless of the version. I.E. have the top ten decided by the price of the cheapest version of a tournament legal M/NM copy (or the best condition you can reasonably find for older cards where M/NM copies are super hard to come by). I can imagine that kind of list could take a bit more research, though.
Well i own 3 of the cards on the list , though not the exact version shown, much less expensive versions. Doubling Season, Blood moon, Glorious Anthem to be precise.
I was waiting for the Chains. My favourite expensive card. If I ever had the disposable income for a playset I'd buy it but the price keeps climbing, it was 300$ when I first designed a combo deck with it n Anvil or Bogardan. After clearing ur opponent's hand, if u hve both cards in play no one can draw cards for the rest of the game. So I run Phyrexian Obliterator as the main creature to try n also either hit them for lethal dmg or have them try n block with wut they have out alrdy n lose all their permanents. N using Increasing Ambition I can add cards to my own hnd allowing me to still cast some spells
